DJ LUV-le RIPEcast Guest Mix Oct 30, 2018
    Show notes

On this weeks episode of the Space Cowboys RIPEcast, we are bringing you another mix from one of our local heroes, DJ LUV-le of the Faultline Breaks Crew. Here are a few words from her about this mix: “This mix is for my old (and I mean ancient) friends that will always be the people that I want to share the best musical experiences with, my new pals that are expanding my musical horizons, and the greater posse of music lovers - let’s keep luv alive. Special shout out and love to my Faultline crew (Eric Riggsbee, Justin Johnson, Agent 138, and Dao) who believed in me and really kick-started my journey back into DJing after a long hiatus. I have been listening to the RIPEcast since its inception and dreamed of, and have been working toward, the day I would get a chance to be in the mix. I’m super duper stoked about this and it means a lot to me. I love music, and I love all kinds of genres and vibes, but breaks and house have always been my true loves. In the past, parties or vibes tended to call for one or the other, and I tended to stick to one or the other. But I know the Space Cowboys support and rock it all, so I took this opportunity to really just play the songs I love right now…the vibe is the thing that I chase, and I hope you enjoy.” CHECK OUT MORE FROM DJ LUV-le HERE: https://www.mixcloud.com/Dj_LUV_le/ https://soundcloud.com/djluvle https://www.facebook.com/DJLUVle/ http://www.faultlinebreaks.com/ TRACK LISTING: Zander, Left/Right - Can’t Stop/Punks Music NeuroziZ, G$Montana, GN - Touch/Gigabeat Records Josh B. - Hands Up/Base Industry Records CLB - Turn It Up/Ionic Collective Walker & Royce and Ardalan - Iz Tha Shit/Dirtybird Anna Lunoe - BDD (AC Slater’s NBD Remix)/OWSLA/NEST Wuki - Hot/Main Course Rabbit In The Moon - I Am The Future/Thumper Music Jason Laidback - Kick It Break It/Nightprowl Lenny Kiser - Jungle Breaks Tim Baresko, Clyde P. - Another/Armada Subjekt Tyler Clacey - Hold Me/BRØKEN Bor & Mar - Check It/BRØKEN Josh Brown - Ain’t It Funky/This Ain’t Bristol NeuroziZ, G$Montana - Shake Em (Phat Kids Remix/The Pooty Club Records Boy 8-Bit - Fogbank/Trouble & Bass Recordings Andy P. - Something In Me/Nite Records Daze Prism - Dream/Punks Motez - Praise/Sweat It Out Music!

Cptn Jay RIPEcast Guest Mix Oct 17, 2018
    Show notes

On this weeks episode of the Space Cowboys RIPEcast, we are featuring a special guest mix from San Francisco Bay Area local favorite and member of the infamous Airpusher Collective, Cptn Jay. Here are a few words from the man himself about this guest mix: “Where do breaks, techno, and tech house crossover? What can Germany teach us about Detroit? What kind of Dirty Birds fly to Ibiza? Can something be both tasteful and dirty? And what snyth doesn’t sound better with a dirty break under it?? My goal was to use the incredible honor of being included on Ripe Cast to play with genres and paint a different kind of picture. I wove a few of my all time favorite breaks tracks together with some new techno hotness, and mashed up others into genre bending behemoths. The set overall has notes of bouncy, funky, dark, spacious, and, most importantly, smashing. You gotta smash on the Ripe Cast. This set was so fun to make! Thank you so much, Space Cowboys, for the platform and opportunity. I truly appreciate it and hope all y’all enjoy the music!” YOU CAN CHECK OUT MORE FROM CPTN JAY HERE: https://soundcloud.com/cptn-jay TRACK LISTING: 1. Nachtbraker – “Stranger” 2.
