The Virginia Plan: Gun-grabbing Virginia politicians taking their bad gun control laws nationwide Jul 23, 2020

Bad ideas from Virginia are headed to Congress. We witnessed a take over of power of the Virginia state government by Democrats, and the Democrat legislators hastily passed sweeping gun restrictions. Democrat Governor Northam signed the laws and the laws became effective this July. The Virginia Democrats are not stopping there. Virginia Senators Time Kaine and Mark Warner are taking those ideas to Washington, trying to get bad laws from Virginia transformed into nationwide laws. We have also seen this term that most of the Supreme Court justices are unwilling to take up the protection of civil rights under the Second Amendment of our Constitution. When these laws are not stopped at the local level, they become blueprints for the gun-grabbing Democrat politicians to roll them out at the national level. The Supreme Court is not going to rescue us from these bad laws. You can understand why over twenty thousand Virginians gathered in Richmond in January of this year as the Virginia legislators considered these gun-grabbing bills. They peacefully protested not only for their civil rights, but also for the civil rights of all Americans. Both Sides Agree: Flynn Case Must END Jul 21, 2020

The judge overseeing the case against General Michael Flynn won’t accept the decision of the appellate court telling him to dismiss the abusive case against General Flynn. He is like an umpire trying to force the teams to play extra innings after the game is over. As General Flynn’s lawyer Sidney Powell wrote in her recent brief to the appellate court, “He, the players, and the spectators need to go home and turn off the floodlights.” Can you believe General Flynn still does not have this resolved and his personal freedom back? He cannot travel freely; he cannot get a job; he cannot enjoy a normal life until this case is dismissed. When Mark and Patricia McCloskey defended themselves with a strong show of force against hundreds of aggressive, trespassing people, I was reminded of my testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee in January 30, 2013, when our federal lawmakers were considering banning certain firearms and operational parts of firearms under the bogus justification of increasing public safety. Mark and Patricia McCloskey walked out onto their lawn with a rifle and a handgun to protect themselves. The mainstream media and the leftist internet tried to turn them into viral villains, but except for the extreme left, people cheered and supported them for their actions. Americans have watched rioters and looters destroy our cities and kill those who stand up to them, like David Dorn. Police forces have given up precincts and our streets to rioters and looters who attack police officers without fear. President Trump commuted the criminal sentence of long-time friend and supporter Roger Stone last week. Many Americans believed this commutation was long overdue since the prosecution of Roger Stone was politically motivated and based on the thinnest of gruel. In the end, Roger Stone was convicted of seven process crimes, and no American was ever charged with or convicted of colluding with Russia to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. You would think that justice having been served, this presidential action would become a historical footnote, but instead, it is the latest weapon of the left to try to take down President Trump, remove him from office, and regain power.
