-Natalie breaks down how we are all feeling
-"Xander is the worst of the nice guys"
    -Let's use our "I" statements
-We are team Cordelia and Oz
-There is a always the fear that Angel is one step away from becoming Angelus
-Buffy does have justifiable reasoning for wanting to keep Angel a secret, but there are other factors in play
-Is there an easy solution to dealing with Angel's return?
-Is Angel a victim of Angelus?
-Faith is back and has a new Watcher!
    -The Council is awful
-But wait, back to Xander being a horrible person and manipulating Faith
-This was a great episode for Faith because we see her trust issues surface

Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 3, episode 8, "Lovers Walk":
-This episode is one of Natalie's top 5 Buffy episodes
-Soul, no soul, person, not a person- a very gray area that needs to be explored
-The final cut of this episode caused a roller coaster of emotion
-Does Spike have some residual Vampire Diaries emotional highs?
-Cordelia and Oz are on another level in this episode
-Xander's insecurities with Cordelia are frustrating, but he should not get to control his relationship with Willow
-Will the couples get back together?
-Cordelia and Angel, best revenge ever
-Can we have a Cordelia vampire?
-Sad Spike needs to move away from Dru forever
    -Spike and Joyce- spinoff please
-There may be no morale compass in Spike, but he is much better than Angelus and likes the world
-Superfans feel that even though we are in season 3, Buffy still feels like season 1 set up
-Buffy and Angel have their final (?) goodbye

    Episode #159 – ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ – 3x05, 3x06 – I Liked It For Its Weirdness May 03, 2016
Show notes Join us as we discuss Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 3 episode 5, "Homecoming" and episode 6 "Band Candy".
    Superfans: Karen and Caitlin
    Newbies: Kristen and Danielle
    Fun Facts:

Karen is remembering Caitlin's visit to her old home in North Carolina, Caitlin is happy to be done grading, Danielle is excited to be seeing Karen very soon, and Kristen is pleased to finally be settling in to her and Karen's apartment.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 3, episode 5, "Homecoming":
-It was a little weird for Buffy to want to be Homecoming Queen so badly. It seemed like a step back.
-Normal Joe-Schmoe's probably know Buffy as that girl that beat up the football players one time.
-So, yeah... Willow and Xander. What the hell?
-We sort of all agree that if this would have happened a season or two ago, we could be on board. Just not now. Except for Karen who definitely sees why Willow might stumble a bit here.
-Slayer fest 1998! (Whoa time warp!)
-Buffy and Cordy bonding time is amazing.
-Scott breaks up with Buffy. Kind of yawny affair there.
-We gush over Angel a little. He's pretty doing Tai Chi.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 3, episode 6, "Band Candy":
-When we first heard about the candy, were we instantly suspicious?
-Caitlin was very excited to do this pair of episodes.
-First impressions of the mayor: He's such a weirdo.
-We were all definitely attracted to teenage Giles. Yowzers.
-Teenage Giles was pretty tame compared to what we've heard about what he was up to as a rebellious teenager.
-The adults were more caricatures of teenagers. Then again, the Scooby gang has grown quickly.
-Ethan is trouble, but a fun kind of trouble.
-Snyder the teen is so much fun. He's that joiner that you try to avoid so often in high school.
-Teenage Joyce was fun too. She seemed like a much more consistent personality as a teen than she sometimes comes off as in adulthood.
-The mayor needs to sacrifice babies to a demon. Wait... what?
-What do we think about Joyce and Giles? Would they work as a real couple?
