The Secret Place-Worship and The Word pt.1 Sep 17, 2021
    Show notes

1:08 What is it to you and when you say that, when we say the word worship?1:44 Well, I mean, the first thing that comes to mind is that the word worship has an actual, literal meaning and we shouldn't forget that literal meaning it the way worship is used in the Bible. The word literally means to bow or to bend at the knee, in prostrate yourself. So imagine, if Jesus did appear to us here on this earth. Would we recognize him? I would hope, though, and when we recognize and what would be the first thing we would want to do? I can think of a range of emotions I might feel. But if it were really him, the one who has saved me from my sin, the one who has given me eternal life, I think I would bow the word worship has literal meaning. And we should remember that because it's appropriate for us in worship, to actually bow and show reverence to God. But the word worship in the usage of it really, ultimately encompasses the way we live our lives because Romans 12 123 explains to us, he says, I implore you or I beseech you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, living sacrifice, which is wholly unacceptable to God, and that's our reasonable service. And so for for us to understand what the Bible means by worship, it really encompasses the entire way we live our life in reverence, honor, and service to God. And remember, the greatest commandment is what? To love your neighbor. Yes, sir. And so that greatest commandment, You shall love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, all your string, your whole being so worship has the literal meaning. And there are actions of worship, prayer, praise, singing, speaking, thanking, there's all kinds of actions and activities of worship, but it really encompasses the entire way we live our life in love, honor, surrender, obedience, service4:21 to God. Good, good. So it's a it's a total walking out our faith,4:26 wholehearted with all of our heart, fully integrated, meaning every aspect of our life is offered to God. Every action should be offered to God in worship. And that's a lot of times where we miss it, don't we? Yeah, because we we have our really nice songs from people are comfortable lifting their hands in worship. Well, I've really offered praise to God some people are comfortable speaking or shouting praise Some people like a short worship service with a couple to three hymns in there other people like, like three songs that go on forever and repeat and repeat and you spend 45 minutes, there's all kinds of preferences. But what God is really after is not a style, but he's after our whole life surrendered to Him.5:20 I like that because I think we we pigeonhole worship into a box, meaning just music, and just going when we're at church, we're going to worship at church, you know, we go through the system, the system of standing, sitting, listening, singing those kinds of things. in your life. What's interesting about and I thought about you a lot of times is to your though you're not in a particularly Christian environment, I would say, right, in your professional field, more secular? How does How do you? How do you deal with a lot of the ins and outs of say, when you feel led to worship, or you feel like, you know, as you're living your life, that outward worshiping? How do you go about that? What's it look like for a traveling musician? In a very well known personality? person that you work for? How do you? How does that look for, for you, like your secret place in your time, time with God, and, you know, I know that I know, traveling here and there, it's never the same. So you've got to really manage that time that you're able to worship, to walk your faith out. Tell us a little bit about how that how that looks.6:41 Yeah, it's, it's something I have to be purposeful about every day, just like anyone else. Be the maybe the difference is that each day can be different. So I may be flying One morning, and have to be like, in the lobby, getting ready to go to the airport at 4:30am. So, hope my pastor isn't listening this. But trust me, I'm not up at 3:30am when I went to bed about midnight, I'm not up at 3:30am, prostrate before the Lord crying out to. So on a morning like that. You know, it's it's getting ready and getting out on time. And just being you know, sometimes it says it's as simple as just praying, while I'm getting ready, and just asking the Lord to help me to be a good witness for him, you know that I show up with a good attitude that I'm not complaining. Because you know, anyone who works in a secular environment, which actually is most of us, your actions really do speak louder than words. And so it's not that you never witnessed with words you have to. But the amount of words is way less than the total of all of your actions. And so it's very important that you do a good job be someone who has integrity, who's trustworthy, who, when you make a mistake, you admitted that this is different than the world lips, you know. And so you just live out the Christ values, the values of the kingdom, in your workplace, and then trust God for opportunities to witness. But then on another day, it may be that we're traveling by bus and I can sleep late, which is awesome. You got 930 10 and get some coffee, and then I'm looking for a place I love that language because it's straight from Jesus teaching about prayer. In one of the translations, he literally uses that turn secret place go into the secret place, it's a private place where where no one is around, it's a closet, or it's an inner room. And so for me it you know, sometimes that has to be the the bunk and I just keep I keep my curtain close. And I've turned over and I've got my Bible and journal. And then once I've been in the word that I have to leave that and take a walk and just pray as I walk usually to a coffee shop with a local one. But I just pray as I go and that gets me a little bit of exercise and gives me time with the Lord where I'm alone. So every day is different and then other times I'm at home and I may or may not have to be at work till nine or may not have a session until nine or maybe I have the day off and so each day can To be different, but you just have to make it a priority that there needs to be a secret place time with the Lord, and you just make it a point to plan.10:12 Now, have you ever or her when have you missed this? When have you had a kind of a god moment, a time where, you know, for shadow without a shadow of a doubt that he's speaking something to you in the secret place, and that that time whether it's walking in the woods or whatever, and you can almost tangibly feel the presence of God? Do you have any stories of like that, or anywhere where it really sticks out that man that time with him that day? And everything that or a circumstance or situation that happened later? really put the two together? And you're like, man, he came down at a heaven? And he touched me that day?10:55 such an important question, Gary. Because, you know, for those of us who have committed our life to Christ, you know, we serve a God that we cannot see.11:13 That's the hardest part.11:14 Yes, it is. It's, it's almost like for the believer, it's almost like that is the most challenging thing about this life is that we serve a God that we cannot see. But we can experiences presence, with other senses. sight is one thing, you know. And these experiences are very, very important not to give us not so that we can believe. But because we believe it's really important for us to seek Him and worship Him and study His word, so that we can really experience all of the blessings, this side of heaven. As for us, and the real blessings are just like a mother or father who holds a child that's crying, that has been hurt, or is afraid, yes, that holding that child and say, it's going to be okay. It calms that child down, doesn't it? It's something spiritual about that connection. Well, God has His way of reaching our hearts, reaching our senses in the same way. And most often very, I find those experiences through his work. Because you got to understand the Holy Spirit, not just inspired the scriptures, but spoke the scriptures, to the mind and to the spirit of those who wrote it. That same Holy Spirit is with us. And if you're born again, the Holy Spirit has made you alive to God, and, and lives within you. And you have the ability to read the word now. And the Holy Spirit will explain the scriptures and the Holy Spirit will will speak to you and assure you have the love of God, and give me the peace of God. So I think of the hand Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine. Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine air of salvation purchase of God born of his spirit, Washington's blood, this is my story. This is my song, praising my Savior, all day long. This is my story. This is my song. So it our salvation becomes very personal. As we stay in the secret place, read his word, and the Holy Spirit to speaks to so I've gotten many experiences that I could share. But really, it's mostly that just the consistency of reading the Word and saying God helped me to understand it, but also helped me to know that you're here. And so it's everything from like, I'll read a passage on the love and I can just kind of feel it in my heart that he's without words without hearing an audible voice. It's like, picking up that child and just holding it saying it's going to be okay. You know, it's gonna work like that joy works like that. It's like, where did this joy come from? It's the joy of Jesus. And when you need it the most sometimes it's the most difficult to find if you're looking for joy in earthly things. But you get into that word, get in that secret place and say, okay, Lord, you said that I should have joy unspeakable flora. You said, My Peace I leave with you and I don't feel peace right now. You said that all the trees of heaven belong to me, and I feel pretty broke right now. So you turn to God and pour your heart out to him and get into his word, and then wait. And he always comes through.15:13 Yeah, some, some of the neatest times I've had is, is, you know, you're in there and you're reading and, and you're, and I'm just kind of going into some passages and I get deeper and deeper. And then I'm like, feeling like, it's okay, I'm not wrapping up now. And then then the floods hit and he opens a door and I'm like, Whoa, and I'm just, I'm there for even a longer period of time, because I'm sensitive, that's where he wanted to take me it just took a while, you know, see, sometimes, you know, I'll get in that rush. And sometimes, I'll sit, and I just linger. And, and right when I think I'm done, he opens the door and says, Well check this out. You know, and that's what's so cool is because that's what I'll walk away with, is that, that last minute impartation of, of what he's trying to tell me. Now, as a, as a worship leader, I've had, I've always thought of, you know, how hard is it for you guys? You know, two? Or the one question I'm thinking about is now that we're in this new, short season of worshipping through a camera? How is that different for you? I mean, does, is there a point where you're, you're looking at the camera coin, this is kind of stale, there's no feedback, you know, cuz you probably get some feedback from the crowds and the church people as we're seeing in and you see people raising their hands and all that.16:44 And it's, it. It's weird. Because if you think about it, even when you're like, even if you were shooting a worship video, you at least have, you're gonna want some kind of congregation there. And even if they know we're shooting a video, they still enter in and sing along and worship along with you. When it's just, you know, what we've been doing in our church is just really doing like, instead of trying to film the whole platform, and put a huge team up there and try to pretend like this is the full service, we've just been breaking it down and bringing the camera more close up having a smaller team. And basically just like if we came into your living room, to leave a service for like 20 people, or 15 people in your living room, when we come in with a full drum set, and two electric guitars, no, we just been doing for the most part acoustic and just looking right into the camera. And imagining the people that are going to be watching this and letting that camera lens be like looking into their eyes. Now the weird thing with that is when you're leading worship, I may make eye contact with one person in the congregation, but then I move right, then I'm now looking at a section now My eyes are closed. Now I'm back, I look at a section maybe I contact one person, but just for a second that I'm moving. With this. It's like sitting in like, Look, then and then. And then I'm like, oh, wait a second. Don't stare it down, though. That's weird. And then I've got lyrics over here. Like, our teleprompter is not like the normal teleprompter, it's just a TV kind of to the left. So I'm looking over here to get lyrics and try to make them look natural. So it really took just keeping in mind, how are people going to experience this, they're going to be in their living room. Your only job, you're not there to perform. Your only job is to do exactly what you do any other time. Just leave them in worship. So to some extent, I had to just, you know, decide, Okay, I'm gonna look at the camera, and then I'm gonna look away. I'm gonna look at the camera and I'm look away. I'm not going to make this more difficult than it is and, and then once I started playing and singing and leading worship, I was fine.19:21 Yeah, it looks pretty natural to me. So it doesn't come across as this is kind of different. So19:28 if it were performance, you know, like purely a performance, it'd be like, Happy birthday to you, Gary. It's not really performance. So you can't kind of stare the camera down and sing your song. It's still you're trying to imagine, you know, a room,19:50 even if it's a room full of people. So yeah, I think we kind of got over the hurdle, but it's good.19:57 Now we're y'all has been performing That one of our young members of the church has written. And I'm always fascinated by how you guys can take words and put it into song and then do that. And one of the things that I put it in our notes about, I call it the circle of worship. And I don't know if there's a real meaning to it, but I just envision God imparting to you words, and and you're hearing these words, and you're writing these words down, you're journaling these words, not maybe not purposely wanting to write a song, but but just fiddling led by the Holy Spirit. And then you're like, well, let's, and then you hear, do you hear a melody in your head? Because that's like, blows me away is like, how do you I can understand you hearing words God gives you, but how do you hear a melody, and then you put it into a track. And then you come before the church and you sing it, and you're like, That is amazing. And the circle part of it for me is when God gives it to you, you write it down, you come together with maybe a couple people or yourself, you put it tog…

All right. I'm Gary Duncan, your host and I want to welcome Jim Domen. He is the founder of church united. He also has a book coming out soon that will talk about just a little bit. It's called anonymous steak, about living in a gay lifestyle and how that is transformed into him. But coming now from went from that to a pastor. And just the story behind that is amazing. And he'll talk a little bit about that. But we're gonna start with talking and I've got this up on the screen. You can see his family there. We've got what church united does, and so want a welcome. Welcome, Jim. And I'm still working on this zoom stuff. We'll get you tied. And there we are.Oh, well, hey, Jim, thank you for having me on your show. It's great to be here with you today. It's great to have you you know, you've got like we said earlier, you got three things going on in your life and none of them are non-controversial.I didn't I don't think God sent me in this world to create controversy or conflict. My wife is a peacemaker. She's not into conflict. But you know, Gary, in today's day and age, I don't mind standing up for what's right, what's godly and what's good. And I want to continue to do that. And as I told my legal team, the reason why I'm doing this it's not to win it's to do what's right to do what's righteous and pro namely in proclaiming the name of Jesus, that's really my heart. And you know, what if I always say if no one's gonna stand I'll be the last one standing.Well, that's we need more people like you and that's that's why I started the podcast are looking for guys like you that are willing to stand we all need to stand in some of us are more at the tip of the spear and summer are part of the stem of the arrow. But we all have to play a part. And so let's get into that. I get in that lawsuit first. And All right, see how that ties into what we're talking about today with the church and, and standing up?Sure, well, three years ago, Vimeo, shut down the church, United's website, hosting page. Then I got an email Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. I mean, think about this, a legal team, their legal team sent me an email the day after Thanksgiving on Black Friday, if you're not in retail, everybody's out shopping, or at least at home, recovering from Thanksgiving, the Thanksgiving meal, but not Vimeo. They targeted me because I was a pastor and a Christian and a former homosexual. And they said because I had my story on the church, United site. Now church united, we do videos of pastors in California, we're growing nationally, and we tell their stories of how they're engaging in government, whether it be at the city level, the county, state, or federal, or all of them. And so we had about 89 different stories of pastors' minds being one of sharing how I left the LGBTQ lifestyle. And they said that video and a handful of others had that type of a message. And they said we're going to discriminate against you. We're going to delete your account in 24 hours. I mean, think about that, Gary, after three years of work videos and pastors up and down the state of California, we're going to you have 24 hours to remove your content. We're going to delete your account. I mean, I was in a panic, I started calling people and guess what everyone's on vacation. People are, you know, no one's at their homes, home offices able to, you know, download stuff or whatever and I spent about good About two, three days frantically trying to find someone to offload everything. Thank God we were able to do that. But then within a week, Vimeo completely deleted church. United's account. Wow,I thought YouTube was the only one that did that. No, unfortunately, this is Gary,, this kind of stuff has been happening to me for at least 10 years, at a minimum 10 years. And I just think because of the nature of what they did, because they targeted me because I was a pastor. I was a Christian, and the month of December, you know, in the Christian world, and then even in the nonprofit world, December's the greatest giving month, of any month in the United States for all nonprofits. And wouldn't you know, they targeted me they targeted church, United deleted everything. We had huge financial losses huge. And it's we're still recovering from that. And you know, a little guy like me, a David and Goliath type of thing. All I'm doing is telling my story of transformation, what Jesus did in my life, and giant tech is able to come through and eliminate pastors, Christians, conservatives, anybody they don't approve of. And so I commend you, Gary, for your show, and hopefully trying to create a revival remnant here in our culture.Yeah, I think, appreciate that. Yeah, it's it's got to be in my thoughts is it's got to be a revolution, or me a revival is kind of an awakening. But a revolution turns over titles like Jesus did, and we need to be turning over some big tables, and they're the power of the Holy Spirit. And, and God's backing. We're bigger than they are. But they have the loudest voice. And, and there's the problem, they've got the loudest voice. The church has the numbers, but we don't have a voice. We need to reclaim that voice and stand up. And Gary, I can't be the only one standing up against big tech. I can't be the only one sharing my story of transformation. That's honestly what you're talking about, you know, your, your remnant revolution. I think that's, you know when we see a revival in the church, and then awakening in their culture, I'm praying for both that the church stands up, gets her voice back and speaks truth into their culture like Jesus did in grace and love. But also My prayer is that we'll have an awakening where new people are coming into God's kingdom.Yeah, yeah. And I think it's, it's happening as people are waking up, but it's going to have to be a major event, I think, to really kind of get the pendulum to swing a little bit. Now, how much can you talk about the lawsuit? Where is it at this point, though? We've lost every, every step of the way we've lost. I mean, honestly, it's it's, it's I am like, I feel like a loser. But in reality, it's like I told my legal team, I'm doing this because it's right. It's righteous. And we have to stand up against evil and against giant internet companies that are shutting down conservatives, Christians, people who might believe differently than they do.Now. What's the base? How's it? How's it? How does it read that they purposely reallyOh, yeah, so we have proved that they did it. They totally wiped out the account. But we are suing for sexual orientation discrimination and religious discrimination. And these are based on the laws and constitutions in New York, the state of New York and the state of California. They're the reason why we're in federal court is that they do. It's over multi-state. It's not just in California, they're based in New York, and church united is based in Orange County, California. So the suit, although we filed in at the Ronald Reagan federal building in Santa Ana, California, in January 2019, they kicked it to New York, because Vimeo is based in New York, and of course, we've got liberal judges that have ruled it's so interesting, you know, it's there for freedom when it supports liberal ideology. But when freedom starts incorrectly when they're shutting down conservative speech, oh, you know, you don't have a choice. You don't know all those freedoms are eliminated. In essence, that's really what I believe the judges had done in New York at the Was it the second Federal Court of Appeals, the second bullet court, they've ruled against us. And now what are they saying? What is their? What's their reasoning for ruling againstit? It is based on section 230, which if you're familiar with that, or people who aren't familiar with that, it's from the communications decency act of 1996. Congress passed into law. Really, it was a law to protect children from being sexually exploited or trafficked online. And through again, liberal court rulings and interpretations primarily to the Ninth Circuit, which is we're based out of in California, they have ruled in essence has made internet companies immune from the constitution from law, they can their free will can do whatever they want when they want it. They're doingit. What's that? And they're doing it right. And they're doing it. Absolutely. And we're seeing that from, you know, nobody liked me to a high profile person like President Donald Trump. I mean, and everything in between. They're doing that I mean, Shadowbanning, they'll take people's followings and they're deleting people. They're removing people. It's really unjust and so unfair. So back to the case that we're filing on sexual orientation discrimination, religious discrimination, and we're hoping we'll be well, soon we'll be filing to the United States Supreme Court. And we're hoping and praying that they will take our case and obviously rule in our favor.Well, right. Yeah. All these needs definitely needs to go the Supreme Court. And what we're seeing right now and some of that, it just, it's got to be a God thing, because we can't trust the Supreme Court even to do what they're supposed to do. Because we're dealing you know, as you know, we're dealing with an evil that is far beyond what we've seen in a long time. Oh, absolutely. It will reach to the Supreme Court just as easy as it reaches to our current, you know, White House administration.Sure. And again, Gary, I'm just telling my story, you know, it was me telling my story, and they wiped out an entire organization's videos. I mean, think about that. I mean, I guess they could have said, We don't like the story, we're gonna, you know, we're gonna delete, you have to remove the video. But that still would have been sexual orientation discrimination, but instead, they targeted me. And it was like, because you're a Christian, you're a pastor, you're conservative, you're a former homosexual, we're just gonna wipe out everything. And they did. And again, like I said, I'm grateful for my legal team advocates for faith and freedom Tywin Burch, who are standing with me and providing the legal services so we can move forward. And I would encourage other Christians or Americans, for that matter of this kind of stuff that's happened, you file a lawsuit seeking Look, you know, reach out to advocates or another law firm that might be willing to represent you because we have to I remember senator Josh Hawley out of Missouri. It's like Americans need to start filing lawsuits. So we can try to stop and raise the awareness of really what these giant behemoth internet companies are doing to Americans.Yeah, I was listening to somebody and they were saying we've got to remember, but it was a lawyer that was kind of bashing himself about being an ambulance chaser, he said, but we need more ambulance chasers right now that can take up court cases because it there is so much lawlessness, that it needs to go through the court systems and the way, that's how it's going to get changed. You know,we're just kind of quoting one of one of our attorneys had shared, she said, Jim, your case three years ago, was kind of a nothing case. It wasn't that big of a deal. But like I said earlier, Gary, I've been since I've been experiencing online censorship from Facebook, Google, YouTube. I think we all know, Google's YouTube's Google. And, you know, this has been going on for years. And now finally, that we actually have a case we can file. But because of all the censorship we've seen that's happened in the last reason, I would say do three years. My case is the closest case to the United States Supreme Court. And they've indicated they've wanted, they want cases like this. So we're again, we're hopeful and praying that they'll hear well, one that they'll take our case, and they'll hear it. Wow, great.Great now, and that's based on the church. United's website, correct? About correct all that? Is that okay? Go into a bit more about because we're heard about Yes. Like, you know, because I've been harping on, you know, churches where they, you know, what are they doing in this time in this culture. And I've heard so many times where we don't get into politics, politics is not our realm. Sure. And we are in that we are in the place we're in because church didn't get into politics or get into the government area. Sure. And sin people, we haven't educated the people we haven't educated the layman into learning to fightwill carry limits. So here's a little bit why I started church united, I realized pastors don't know most of them don't know about government, they really know the names of their elected officials. And I have really had that kind of awakening moment when even when I went to seminary got my master's divinity. We never talked about engagement in government. We didn't talk about how what's the role of God's people in government and when I tell pastors that are awakening doers, either at our nation's capital or at a state capitol, I'll ask him or I'll share with them find me a book in the Bible. Okay, we all we're all preaching from the same book, where God's people are interacting with the most powerful, the strongest well-known world leader at that time in history. I mean, if you look at Joseph with the pharaohs, if you look at, you know, Abraham with, you know, let my people go. I mean, he finally a book in the Bible where God's people aren't interacting and praying with or john the baptist calling out. King Herod on a sin of adultery. I mean, that was a sin. He called them out and literally cost them his head. Why do we think in 2021? Or, you know, modern history today, that we don't have that voice anymore? God hasn't changed. Scripture hasn't changed. And so what I tried to point pastors to is, look, the Bible has God's men and women, Deborah, for example, in the Old Testament, in our area, or our interacting or in leadership positions, or Esther, in the Old Testament, that was I said, Deborah, I met Esther but both of them great godly women having a huge influence on government. Why is it do we think now? Oh, I only talked about Jesus. Well, wait a minute. Jesus was involved in every, every part of life. And we see I'm in the book of Luke. All right, the Luke was addressed to most excellent the most awful that was believed to be a high ranking Roman official one book in the New Testament explicitly to a government leader. And so I tried to help pastors go, look, if you don't know this, let church united help teach you so you can better engage. And Paul talks about when Timothy, pray for those in authority. Well, how do you pray for someone if you don't know their name? How do you lead them to Jesus, I lead my assembly member in California to Christ. How do you do that with someone? Oh, Gary, by the way, I like to try to practice what I preach is how do you lead someone to Christ? If you don't know them? And my assembly member, you know what he said? He goes, would you be willing to meet with my chief o…

Pt.2 Korean Christian Conservative- Kangmin Lee, Where's the church? It needs to wake up! Aug 25, 2021
    Show notes

Do you think? Do you think that tax exempt status is a factor in this?Oh, absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. Because, again, like you said, abortion has become a political football, where left and right are just tossing republicans are terrible at this too. They could have done something against abortion, you know, they, they have the White House, the House and the Senate for the first two years of the Trump administration, what they do for abortion, nothing, they literally did nothing, of course, expand it, but they didn't really do much they could have done something. And, you know, when I when I look at it, it's like, a lot of these, a lot of these, um, you know, issues that you know, are pressing and should be, really should the church should be on the forefront of fighting against issues is big on political and and so the enemy has convinced the church and the world in general that a lot of these human rights, basic issues that I think we should all be able to agree on murdering babies is that, but it's all become political. And so because it's become political, if churches speak out against it, then it's like, oh, like you're engaging in politics, we're gonna take away your tax-exempt status. Same thing with declaring that men or woman just that basic biological design, it's basic biological truth, that has been true since the dawn of humanity. And then that in and of itself is a political statement. So you see so many pastors not even talking about any of that, when so many of our kids are being indoctrinated and sexualized with this gender ideology. So when you look at that, yeah, definitely the tax exemption status plays a role. You know, a lot of pastors are not walking out in faith, but they're walking in fear being in and I that's I, I have great sympathy for them. Because a lot of their their income is directly tied to the finances that they get from, you know, the offering and the tithing of their church members. But, you know, at the end of the day, you know, Jesus said, seek first the kingdom, all these things will be added on to you know, like, you know, God takes care of takes care of the sparrow, how much more will he take care of you, if you walk faithfully not saying that's going to be easy, but you know, he will meet your every need, if you're walking in faith?Well, the route we're going eventually, that tax-exempt status will go away, because the people in power will take it away. So if we know that's probably coming down the road, then get rid of, you know, I'm not in favor of it, actually, because Christians shouldn't be incentivized to give to their church just for a tax write off you give because that's what God tells us to do. And so, you know, maybe if there wasn't a tax benefit that more churches would stand up for the things that need to be stood up for now political or not. And I just think that they're so focused, and you know, this didn't. I'm not trying to make this podcast about bashing pastors, um, it's about leadership. And if leadership is, the reason we're here in this spot right now, today is because the church Christians, you and me, we did, we advocated our roles in the society, in government in media, education. So when we're not there, there's a void, and there's a Dark Void, and it's getting filled with darkness. And now it's coming back to back to bite us in the bud. And like you say, you know, abortion should be the number one thing that all churches should unite around. But what blows my mind is you have congregations that vote for the same people that vote kill babies, and they call themselves Christians. I don't understand that. I don't understand how you can call yourself a Christian, and then pull a lever for a guy that's going to pull his lever and vote for abortion. Yeah, to me, that's just wrong. I don't get and now we've got the same group of people that think putting a mask on a seven year old sent him to school is an okay thing on a fake virus or whatever you want to call it. And, you know, I saw the day on I think it was Instagram. They were shoving this long q tip up this little infants nose. Yeah. And I'm thinking, why? Why do you need to test the chat? Why do we all why do we even need to get tested for this? We're all going to catch this. You know what, that's that's what we're dealing with. Because that's what a virus does. It infects people So, you know, go off on that track. But so now you did. You did you were raised in the church, and I heard a podcast you talking about? You know, there's about the Korean church and how a lot of struggles that you had just dealing with people again, you know, a lot of the things you said, you know, we're dealing with leadership that just doesn't want to see that what's going on, or ignores it? And is, how do you what do we do? What, what's your advice to, to young people just to Christians in general, what we need to be doing? Standing up? For sure. But how do we go about that? I mean, nobody's listening on Facebook and Instagram, because we get canceled so much, you know, go knock on doors, it's about at this point, we're getting to where that's how we're gonna have we're spreading the gospel, we should be spreading it anyway. person to person. What, what's your sense of where things need to be headed? And how are we going to address that?I talked about this on a podcast yesterday, but the approach is twofold. One, it's to you know, really focus in on your home and your immediate community. So Jordan Peterson talks about this where he's like, if you don't even have your home in order, how do you think you're gonna even change the world for the better, right, and that's the problem we're seeing today, a lot of these left wing activists come from broken homes, they don't have children, they don't have families to take care of, they don't have their home in order, if you go into their home, their beds are not even made their homes a mess, they don't even know how to cook for themselves, you know, they don't have their home in order. And so they don't have their home in order, then they go out and they think they can change the world. And that's why they're messing everything up right now. They're destroying everything right now. And first and foremost, you need to have your home in order, right, if you're a parent, you know, raise your kids in virtue and teach them to you know, love the things that God loves and hates, hate the things that God hates. And also in your immediate community serve, you know, get to know people, and then especially, here's the thing 74 million people voted for Trump in this election. 74 million, I think was more, you know, 74 million. And, and so, but when you think about it, each one of those people who voted for Trump and what just one person that they cared about and was close to in their life who voted Democrat, if they're able to change their mind and their heart, then we can see something catastrophic Lee change in the culture, and also in the way that you know, our country votes. And in our leadership, we can see an astronomical change of each person, just one, just one person in their life, got them to stop voting democrat and vote Republican. Well, I still have my thoughts about Republicans, but you know, they're the better option and there's a lot of good you know, there are a lot of good people and in the Republican Party, right vote rod like that, but your vote for the party that most aligns with your values. Absolutely. Yeah. And when you do that, you're voting conservative. Right? Absolutely right down the line. So it shouldn't it shouldn't be hard decision.Yeah, so then, you know, like I was saying it's because right now today being a Christian means you're a conservative in today's political you know, socio socio-political climate right. There's no way around it there's no way because if you're on the left, now you believe in murdering babies you think and you believe in Canada, chemically castrating children, and that as young as five just because they some, some, maybe the sun is like, Oh, I feel like a girl, oh, let's chop off the thing laying and you're a girl now. Like, it's absurd. And so there's that it's not a God at all. And so when you think about the Overton window, so shifted so far to the left, where if you're a Christian, today, you are a conservative, there's no way around it. And so when you think about these things, like you have to be able to convince and, you know, maybe you you aren't able to convince them with facts, but a lot of times you know, a lot of people just are very emotionally driven, driven. So showing them that if you're a conservative you care, you know, you care about them, you care about these things that are human rights issues and just highlight to them like what is actually going on, if you're able to change one heart and one mind in your life, it'll go a super long way. So that's, that's that's like the, you know, micro level approach. And then there's the macro level approach where like you're talking about you go to the school board meetings, you go protests, you go to these things you I know a lot of conservatives shy away from the phrase activist I do too, because when I hear activist I think of a person with like, yellow hair, and just like going crazy. And it's I get that, but you know, we have to be activated to influence culture and be in society, all spheres of society, Christians should be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing the hope and the peace and the love that we have in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and that we can only find in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And so we should be going out there. So go to the school board meetings, participate, make your voices heard, email, the professor's email, your school teacher, you know, children's teachers, you know, go out, tell your corporations that you don't like what they're espousing. Go out, make your voice heard, be vocal on social media, because right now, what's happening. It's actually I think you and I can both agree most Americans don't care about all this politics stuff, they're too busy with the day to day, they just want to get through. But what has happened is that we have compromised and we have as Christians, we let go of the education system. And so the education system was turning out, activists, left wing activists who are then graduating and then going into these companies and infiltrating them. And so but it's a very, still a very fringe sect of society, very few amount of people who are super loud and controlling everything. But then if we as a, as a collective, as a church, and as Christians, and only Christians, but conservatives as a whole, if we all spoke out very powerfully, like that would change our culture, because people will know Oh, shoot, all these left wing talking points. Points aren't as popular as we thought they were. And so it'll change. Because, you know, when I first got canceled, when I first spoke out as a conservative, I got so many messages from people like, hey, like, thank you so much for speaking out, I could never speak out because I would get canceled. I'm like, dude, if every single person who messaged me spoke out, like with me more, much more people, many more people would have realized that BLM that the left all this progressivism is not as popular as you would think. And so you have to make your voice out there publicly engage in culture, engage in the larger community to engage on social media, be there be a voice, because what's happening with the left has done effectively, is they've done that they've gone to different corporations, they've gone to different spheres of society, they're very vocal on social media, right? So we have to do the same, we can't just give that up. Because of those things, control the flow of information. And those things control our culture today. And if we want to change that, and if we want to see things get better in this country, we as Christians, and conservatives need to do that be public, be very vocal, be bold, even if you fear being canceled, if every single person, you know, again, spoke out and was bold about it, then we wouldn't see is you know, we'd be on castable really, we'd be on cancelable. Right?we've we've given away our authority in Christ to a society that that's run wild. And I think a lot of Christians don't really understand or know, their identity that they haven't Christ. And, you know, I put myself in a lot of these categories where it's like, you're stepping out, but maybe not enough. And, and, you know, I really don't care about getting canceled. It seems like the left has an attitude of what do you got to lose? I don't have anything to lose half of them are, you know, living off the government dole anyway. So they don't have anything to lose. So they're gonna fight. But you know, you look at conservatives, you know, they got a very nice job. Typically, they're, they're hard working, they got businesses, I'm single, I'm self-employed, and all these things. And it's like, you know, I got a lot to lose if I stick my neck out. Yeah. But like you said earlier, we're at a point that you either stick your neck out now, or it'll be cut off later. Yeah. And you won't have a choice. And, and to me, this, everything we've been going through, is really a primer, for what Christians will encounter in and I'm looking at that and thinking, you know, how am I here? You know, I'm saying the church again, but you know, I've been in church probably 30 something years now, we've a lot we've, we've raised a bunch, a lot, a preacher, I heard him say, he says, we've raised chocolate soldiers. You know, when the heat gets turned up, we start to melt, and we don't get bold, and we don't stand up. And I think, looking at what really disturbed me the most is when we went through this, this COVID and looking at churches and, and just seeing how they reacted. You know, we're given sermons about fear, but we're wearing a mask. You know, I get the health things of it. When it first started, everybody kind of was on the same page. Yeah. Okay. We don't know what we're dealing with. But then we started seeing some cracks in the dam, you know, of politicians not wearing it. And then liquor stores and Home Depot open and churches were told they couldn't meet and they couldn't seem, you know, things started to come, you know, the people with discernment. I think, go well, that's not right. Yeah. And maybe I should just say, No, I'm staying open and we're gonna have church in service, whether you like it or not, and a couple of churches in California did that. You know, here in Tennessee. There was a few I think maybe that stood up but wasn't a big onslaught. And I'm looking at this going, Where is everybody? You know, here we are today. It's a weirdest thing for me. You walk in a store and people still wearing masks. I'm like, what's going on with the man You know, I feel like I'm in a third world country or something where people are wearing masks. The more you learn about this virus, the more you realize that we shouldn't be fair in this thing at all. I mean, it's really n…

The Pelosi Gestapo Encounter- Final Call to Stand Aug 06, 2021
    Show notes

Today we finish up the story of FBI intimidation by Nancy Pelosi's Gestapo police agency. Learn what we citizens can do toprotect ourselves if we ever end up confronted by the Deep State Authoritarian goones. Get educated on our rights and responsibilities as citizens of this country. Stand against tyranny and walk in faith.Gary Duncan 0:32 Don't you think a judge that issues that warrant? Should have been smart enough to see that your picture? And the picture that they had? was not you? I mean, they're the FBI, they should be able to distinguish from that and tell us how did they get ahold of you? How did they know? To find you? Of all people? Did they have a surveillance camera on you? at all? Or where or you know, on the ground? Or what? Well, according toMarilyn Hueper 1:06 their own? Sure, according to their own testimony, when they were raiding us, they have footage of everybody who is there, and I'm sure they have outside footage to which I asked them about and like, hey, look at your cameras, I'm sure you can see that I was outside of the Capitol and never inside, I can tell you that my approximate time of arrival. But what they communicated with me at the time, and now that the application and word have been made public so that I can look at it and rebut it. They had, they have a like a tip line, an anonymous tip line or a tip line where people can call in and they have on the FBI website, they have like most wanted postings in January six of the primary concern, there are live photos of people from video footage inside that they're looking for that they claim they don't know the identity of. So apparently someone called in and told them that I resemble this, this woman photographs two to 58225. A, or sorry, yeah, two to five a, that and it was somebody an employee from Alaska Airlines, according to the David, so they didn't tell me that at the time. But they said yeah, we've had positive ID, you've been positively ID, which sounds very official. But it's actually not what it means is that, but he called me said, that person kind of looks like somebody I saw recently, they could be the same person. They're considering that a positive ID. I resemble a lot of people I resemble particularly a lot of people in my family, probably a lot of people who have Irish descent who are Caucasian and aged and with brown hair. And I happen to have a black coat that day. They are based on this tip. I think this person even told them that they had been on our Instagram, and found my husband's post on Instagram of me from behind with brown hair and a long black coat at the Capitol. And so they were able to put those two pieces together. And then in the affidavit, it actually says that they've pulled my Alaska driver's license. And the FBI determined that I was the same person from the photograph of the woman inside. But they didn't list who this random SBI is, which isn't really a person. So there had to be a real man or woman who looked at that, and decided that which is amazing to me because I could look at their photo, and very quickly, you know, mentioned to them when I finally saw a photo during the raid because they were looking for the clothing that they said I had been wearing. And I said, Well, first of all, I already told you it wasn't inside the Capitol. So I don't appreciate being called a liar. So let's stop that discussion. And second of all, you have a picture of this person, and you haven't shown it to me. And Can I see it? And I grabbed it from them. And I said, Well, obviously I hate her because I've always been jealous of women who have detached or laughs I have attached your loves. So obviously that's a problem. And second of all, she's wearing a sweater. I don't even own a sweater, you have to see me wearing a sweater that ugly with snowflakes on it. So, and then I and I held it up and I and I held that beside me this little Xerox copy. And I said I'm sitting right here. And we can look meMarilyn Hueper 4:39 at me and grab the Xerox back to searching. And so that's when they laugh because I thought they don't evenGary Duncan 4:49 grim ruins. Yeah, so I hope we start with the part where you held the picture up. That's where he cut out.Marilyn Hueper 4:58 Oh, held, oh, I held the Xerox app that one of the agents was carrying around and looking for clothing and etc, that this woman had been wearing. And she asked me, where's this clothing that you are? She showed me a picture. Where's this clothing? And I said, like, well, first of all, I don't wear sweaters, you have to pay me to wear a sweater that ugly with snowflakes on it. And secondly, I have attached your lips, she has to be attached to your love. So obviously, I hate her. But is this who you think I am? And I grabbed the Xerox from her and I held it up next to me. And I said, Can we both agreed this is two different people. I'm sitting right here, we can throw because look at me, two different people. And the agent stared at me, didn't say anything, and then grabbed the Xerox back and went back to their searching. And so when they finally departed, I thought I like to admit you're in the wrong house. And who should I send my receipts to for your damage and inconvenience? And they went an answering they said, yeah, we don't do that. And I said, well, what's the next step? They said, as you'll, you'll hear from us. So when they laughed, I thought, I still have no assurance that they are going to admit that we're two different people. So I decided I'm going to go on my husband's Facebook account, post. From that day, post a photo of the woman from that day that they think I am and get my affidavit, my true experience out there. Not it's not a legal affidavit, because I haven't didn't press it into court yet. But get my public affidavit out there and get before they take control of the narrative because I was afraid they're trying to cover for somebody and they were going to make me be this person. Right. And so before they this thing, and bring me into somebody and keeping me in their web conspiracy, I wanted to bring it before the public because I felt like that was the safest thing I could do to protect myself. Yeah,Gary Duncan 7:03 that's good. And like you said in the first episode is that Washington and Nancy, and all those people, they're setting a narrative that the media is running with, like a lot of things they're doing right now. But they're setting a narrative that the low information voter is going to hear and see. And they're going to determine that everybody's guilty without any due course of real truth. And so what would you say to Christians, as we look at this and see how, within, who knows how many years or a lifetime or whatever, that instead of just being something political or patriotic, it could be just because we believe in Christ, or we believe that, you know, certain things that we believe as Christians is not. We don't, we don't agree with abortion, things of that nature. Because then that could be classified as hate speech. And next thing, you know, we've got the FBR coming into our house, because we posted something somewhere, saying that abortion was was wrong. And it's not right. So how, what would you say back to create, to prepare ourselves for that? Is there a way to prepare,Marilyn Hueper 8:26 I think we're at an apex. I believe there is I believe that first, we need to repent because we've reached this Apex because we've left a vacuum, we have believed a lie that I believe we believed a lie that we're supposed to just wait for a Messiah to come and fix everything, or to rescue us from the earth. And yet he gave us instructions at his departure to disciple the nations. And we have been stages and being. So when we vacate culture and government, then we leave a vacuum for other forces that don't have in this case, don't have the common vision of the founding fathers that affirmed God-given rights in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. And it I believe, what's happening is you have actors and people in the background and legislatures that have bought into the idea that we the people need to not be aren't fit to be governing a republic that they need the few and the elite to tell us what to do. And the way they're getting around. The Constitution and the protections afforded for us in the Bill of Rights is bypassing these executive order things about The fight on terrorism and if they can, they can really label us as terrorists, I believe that what we need to do is we need to remember who we are. We need to repent for not standing in the gap for our nation, and that we are not Rome. We are not a Roman Republic, that the Messiah's people were under that didn't have a voice and and had to submit, we have rights. And we, our Constitution, our bill of rights, affirm our God given rights, and now we have a duty to execute those. And departing and being silent, is just poor stewardship on our part, it's horrendous stewardship, we have to get back in there and do our role, which means that when these things are happening, we need to learn how to press our voice into the court. And the legislature can pass and even the executive branch can pass all kinds of manners of law, where they derive their just powers from the consent of the governed. That's us. We have to object, we have to take it to the court, we have to say this is not appropriate. But first, we have to know who we are. We have to repent for not walking in who we are and executing the duties that we've been given.Gary Duncan 11:17 How would you say go about knowing who we are as far as reading our constitution? Here's one thing I get some blowback sometimes because people know I tend to might be political, somewhat. I think there's an adverse reaction to Christians being political. And when you say political, it means to me it means standing up for our constitution and not, you know, just bowed down and, and just don't want to get into there because it's political. Well, you know, like, abortion is political to some people, you know, and it's and it's really nice. It's a life or death issue. Christians need to get political. Yeah.Marilyn Hueper 12:01 Well, and political, political, I agree, see is kind of a dirty word, it feels, you know, politics feels like synonymous with corruption and special interest. What I was, is that we focus on Kingdom Government, because that's our brain. And we're supposed to be preparing the way for his turn. So our role is to walk with integrity ourselves, to be involved locally. And in things like this not to let not just be armchair critics, they're training us to sit and yell at our television, that doesn't do anything, even yelling on your social media doesn't do anything away our system is designed, you have to learn how to press it into a court. That's where it has authority, where your voice as a man or a woman of God, especially if you can press your affidavit of truth is that's how all of these things are done. Any accusation against you has to be brought forth by a man or woman through that affidavit and learn how to bring it into the court, or any case you feel might be being pressed against you, or against others that you believe or are being oppressed wrongly. So we have to all learn a little bit of the law because otherwise, we empower lawlessness. So if we're just going to be armchair quarterbacks, then we are not stepping in on to the field, we're not on the field, we're still observers, we have to get on the field to have our voice heard through the constitutional method that's been afforded us. And so we're going to have to become educated, we're going to have to, you know, watch a few fewer sitcoms that night, we're gonna have to take some effort, or they're gonna take that as a cent because they drive the just powers through the consent of the governed. If all we are as armchair quarterbacks, then we have not accessed the path to dissent. We're only yelling at ourselves. So it's up to us. We have to get in there. So I have a website for I'm going to be sharing what happened and there's a lot to learn and I don't want to share and guide anybody into a dangerous direction want to share safe things like knowing what to do when they show up at your door? What are your rights because I didn't know I we asked, Can we make a phone call? They said no. And then we were like, Okay, good. We were kind of bluffing anyway because we wouldn't know who to call. Like, things like that. We don't know what does that means? I don't have an attorney on speed dial. I don't know anybody's phone number to call And now, you know, as we're in the process, as my counsel says, call anybody who doesn't that you know, and trust that doesn't have a gun to their head, right, then they're gonna be able to help you discern the situation. It doesn't have to be an attorney. It doesn't have to be a lawyer. Anybody who hasn't had a gun to their head and isn't handcuffed at the moment that you believe is has sense, is a trusted voice in your life. Just call them because you need someone to bet your circumstance with. And then the other one we asked is, you know, you have a warrant? Yes. Can we see it? Oh, yeah, you'll get to see it, you'll get a coffee even? Well, that's not the way it works the way it is. And when I finally demanded, like, I'm not going any further until I see this warrant, everything stopped. And they brought the warrant to me. So I learned even in this preliminary encounter, where I had no idea what my rights were that when my gut said like, this is not okay, I need to see your warrant. Everything stopped. And they did what I said. So we have more power in these situations than we know. And the purpose is to keep us ignorant. So don't access it. So when I said that all of a sudden, weren't was produced, I said, great. It appears I have some time on my hands, I'm going to be reading this and they immediately took it away. They're also not allowed to do that. But again, I didn't know what I would be looking for. So I didn't insist on getting it back. Now I know what they were cuz I was like, Why don't they want me to read it? Obviously, they don't know how ignorant I am that I won't know what's legal or not legal. But now I know that the warrant was only on the property, it was the search warrant, there was no more for them to interact with us at all. And so we had no obligation to be talking to them whatsoever.Marilyn Hueper 16:59 Now I know. So I would like to help educate other people. So you aren't getting buffaloed into Yeah, giving information that you don't need to without support and counsel that you're rightful should have?Gary Duncan 17:12 Oh, yeah,Marilyn Hueper 17:13 that's the starting place. They need to know how to handle themselves.Gary Duncan 17:16 Right, getting educated not. And that's, I guess, one of the things people might say as well. I don't plan on ever getting, you know, FBI agents come to my door, and I'm sure you didn't either. You know,Marilyn Hueper 17:29 I would say they're naive. And maybe, yeah, maybe it won't be FBI, maybe there'll be other, you know, enforcement agencies, or many abounding right now. And the same principles of knowing your rights apply in all those situations, whether it's a traffic sto…

If you would like to tell your Truth story about your experience on Jan. 6th, 2020 at the capital, then click the link below.https://www.wethepeoplestand.org/There's a story narrative being carried out by Nancy Pelosi in the Biden administration right now, in regards to what happened on January 6, its US Capitol. At first, when this developed, it was a rally in a protest. And as the media took hold of it now became an assault, a riot, an insurrection, a coup attempt. And now with Nancy's own words, it's a terrorist attack. So what really happened on that day, we may never know as long as the powers that be have control of the mic. As you will see in the upcoming conversation I have with two people that were on the grounds of the Capitol in the mall during that time, and then their subsequent 12 FBI agent siege on their home, you will see how deep and far fetched this narrative begins to develop in what they're willing to do to intimidate God-fearing country-loving individuals, and get ready for a conversation and a story that should make you really wonder who's in control.Okay, welcome back to Faith and freedom Fridays. I'm Gary Duncan, your host and again, we're continuing the second part of our conversation with Maryland and about their experience and their what we're calling I'm calling the Gestapo encounter with Nancy Pelosi his laptop. I think it was in April, y'all had the encounter. They were at the Capitol on the sixth, but we'll pick up, we're gonna pick up where we left off. I'll just give a quick synopsis Cliff Notes too, if you haven't listened to the first podcast, check the one before this one. Y'all were visiting some friends, I think it was just it was in Portland. And we had a wedding and South Dakotaand South Dakota. And then they just happened to know that, you know, they were following what was going on with the Capitol and the counting of the, the electoral votes and all that, and they checked on some flights to to Washington DC is like $39. I mean, $39, who wouldn't fly to Washington to see a historic event. So they went hung out down at the mall at the eclipse ground there. You know, from that point on it just it was an enjoyable time for him. But he went through the process step by step of what they did. So y'all were in DC, just thought you'd go down there, you know, $39 flight, who wouldn't go to, to do that. So you're down there, you're on the grounds, you're enjoying meeting people, and you're just having a good time. And so we left off when you were around near the Capitol about 330 or so. And you commented on just there wasn't any semblance of, of communication, there was no cell service. So you're just kind of Never Never Land with understanding what's going on. Because I mean, you know, half a million a million people run around with all kinds of, uh, you know, flags and agendas and stuff like that you just was interesting to what? What's out there. So what's going on? So I'm gonna share the screen here and show their timeline as we get to talking. Alright, so here we are, I think we left off around 330 you were looking around you just people, you have something like a Animal House. And you know, this picture showing all the people hanging around, it does look pretty wild. Again. So people understand you never went into the Capitol. Correct?Correct. Now never went into the Capitol. And sometimes it's good to state that because sometimes I forget that other people might assume everybody who was there within the Capitol, but there was only a small fraction of people, if you figure there were at least half a million, maybe a million people there. And I think the current count, they're putting out as there were maybe 600 or something. Really, that's a very, very tiny fraction. I'm not even sure that's not even 1% we have a small fraction. So the majority of the people who were there have no first-hand knowledge, no experience of any of the oddness going on the side of the Capitol building and of the people that we chatted with, because we got there pretty late 330. And everything of newsworthy, interested already happened before we ever got near the grounds. And we were just asking people as we went along because there was no cell service, there was no way to get any understanding in the way we were customers. Really, we all expect people to go online and find out what's happening. We couldn't find out anything, couldn't hear anything. If Trump was speaking to the people or giving any direction, none of the people would have been able to hear that. Anyway, I know there's a lot of critiques about how long or what time he took to share. But it wouldn't have mattered. There was no service for anyone to hear anything. What would have been helpful is if someone in uniform with the Capitol had come out and borrowed one of the megaphones or, you know, hey, maybe bring their own. Maybe they have some equipment to communicate with groups, I would presume, somewhere in their vast storehouses of supplies. But there were plenty of people there with little remote, you know, mobile speaker systems or just megaphones, sharing whatever their stick was about whatever they were passionate about. wanting to talk to people standing around, they could have borrowed any of those and communicated and given instruction or information to all the people milling around outside, but from the people we spoke with, and from our experience being there, there was never any attempt or add direction and nobody ever heard anything. them being asked to do anything such as Can you please clear a building? Can you please clear the scaffolding? Could you please back up so we can clear the building, there was never any information or instruction to any of the people milling about. So people just kind of stayed curious and hanging out. And whatever their timeline was that they had set aside to be free to be in the mall. They just kind of continued that way. For us. That was till four o'clock because we had to catch a flight at six. So even at the party at four o'clock, we were in a bit of a race to get to our claim. And you so around 350, you say, Rob police showed up heading towards the Capitol. So at that point, I knew something was was getting pretty serious, I guess.I guess we couldn't figure out why they were they were forming on the street, to the would-be the Well, obviously, I'm directionally challenged, though, not gonna attempt that. But we were looking for a taxi. We were on some street near next to the Capitol grounds. And we could see right, you know, a squad of riot police forming up and starting to march towards the Capitol building. And it seemed very odd, because it's, you know, a lot late, and there's nothing going on now that you would need right least forks for the weekend, observe all you again, all you would have needed is a megaphone and say can you please clear the lawn? Are you kidding me? You know, can you please step back here. And everybody would have easily you they would have easily done that. I just needed to know what, what they wanted to do.So there was nobody climbing on statues and spray painting statues and, and putting ropes around them and yanking them down.No cans on fire. And throwing bottles at you know, the police or whoever was hanging out there was none of that going on. During this there was none of that going on. There were people in all fairness, there were people enjoying hanging off of stuff, there were a lot of primarily young men there who you know, enjoy climbing. And they were hanging off of all kinds of things and getting their photos taken. But if there wasn't any spirit of destructiveness to it, I would say more just exuberance and, and energy. So they were some statues that were covered with people and people, I guess, not in a destructive manner, but more in a commemorative manner. Like, hey, look, I'm getting a picture with this famous person, this statue of this famous person or this famous person, or, you know, hanging out, taking pictures with the Capitol Police up on the balcony, or just standing around not doing anything. So yeah, no remarkable. And even in the photo, I always remark that even in the video footage, a few minutes, I don't know is that like 10 total minutes of footage that gets shown over and over on all the popular media sites. How well behaved everyone was. And in our own intrusion in our home, the rate on our home, there were a couple of Capitol Police there and I asked them questions about it and remarked at how well behaved people were that, you know, no paintings were slashed. And nothing was spray painted, no statues were toppled, and how amazing that was for such a large room. They could have done anything they wanted to and it appeared what they wanted was pictures of themselves in a place that they highly revered. And then that's getting portrayed as some kind of a seditious act. So, so how, so, you flew back home and you're just you're living your life, like, you know, that was enjoyable being there. But then as you saw all the stuff that was happening how did it come to be that FBI agents 12 of them, right would come to your doorstep. You know, granted, there's probably a bureau somewhere close by but you think, you know, Washington DC is almost 5000 miles away. In other words, show up on your doorstep with their guns drawn. Take us from that point on have you know, you're just one what time of day was it? That they showed up?It was morning for my very early morning. 9 am. Because I'm not usually up till 1030 or so cuz I'm on the night shift. And that's just I get up. And I objected to that. Point. I don't know I, my husband and I, we both like we were supernaturally parents somehow because we didn't take it that seriously. We just, it was so surreal and odd that we kind of laughed a lot and just kept saying, Are you serious? Are you, you know, take us to the site. No, nothing here. You're completely in the wrong place. So take us through that.Yeah, we never heard a knock on the door. But our bedroom is set back. They said that they knocked on the door. They were a couple of doors back from the door they were trying to get into which is kind of humorous because all of our doors were open except for that kitchen doors. We laughed that they could have picked any other door to come in and not have to break the door down. But apparently, they picked the one lock door through. So our kitchen door because our front doors are open or backward or open or bedroom doors are open. But our kitchen door between the business in our personal space locked, don't like s wandering and traversal space. So they found the kitchen door. Currently, they said they knocked on it didn't answer. It was 70. And all we heard was FBI come out with your hands up. And my husband has already headed in that direction because he heard some ruckus. And he thought one of our daughters was coming to shake him up to go to work. As they do sometimes, though, as he was heading towards the dining room. We both heard this. And so he's in his pajamas. And he heads in that direction. And they command him to turn around and walk back to them and they handcuff him and put him in a chair. And then I come out and they do the same. And then they ask if there's anyone else in our home. And we had a couple of friends who have come young men who'd come to help us for the summer had just arrived a few days earlier. So they had them come out and the customer, Gunny also, one of them being 17 years old with no Guardian, no legal guardian on-site. And they didn't ask who they were, they didn't care who they were. They don't ask any of us. I think they asked Paul and I but they handcuffed us all behind our backs, put us into chairs. And then they announced that the good news was that no one was getting arrested that day. And I was a little bit confused, because I consider being handcuffed, being arrested. And so I was like this already is not making any sense. Or they're they were here to search the space. They didn't offer that they had a search warrant that they were here to search this space. And that no one was gonna be arrested that day, which was contradictory because we already were handcuffed in my mind. And they said, and they just wanted to have a little chat. And so I immediately objected and said, Well, usually if people want to have a chat, they call it to make an appointment. And they don't bust in our door and hold us at gunpoint and then handcuff us. And besides, it's before noon, and I don't have chats before noon, because I'm not a morning person. So could they please reschedule? And they said they weren't gonna do that. And that they were going to have a chat now. And then one of the officers, one of the men acting as an offer said like, well, we came at seven and knocked and nobody answered. So we went to breakfast and came back two hours later. So we've already been waiting. And we don't even usually not usually we just bust the door in so I was like, is not supposed to make me feel good that normally you treat other people worse than you're treating us today because that's not encouraging to me at all. So so we were kind of I don't know why I started off immediately not taking their bluff overly seriously. I'm of course I knew they could drag us out any moment and you already heard plenty of stories about people that they don't have anything on that they haven't made any charges that they're holding in detention without counsel and without charges for months on end. So I'm like okay, I don't want to you know, push it too far, but at the same time, this feels like this behaving to me, I'm not just gonna be quiet about it. So they quickly separated me from the rest of the family and took me into a separate room and said, Well, you know, we want to, you know, come with us. And they uncuffed me, which, you know, and said, you know, you probably know why we're here. And I said, not really. They said, well, we're looking for Nancy Pelosi his laptop, and I don't think I laughed out loud. But I was sure laughing inside. Because I thought, wow, are they off the mark here? Totally. They really are lost. They have no idea what they're doing if they think I have any type of connections or any type of desire to do anything like that. But it took a 5000 mile turn at the wrong intersection, didn't they?Yeah, yeah. Right. And I got lost in the mall. But Wow, they were really lost. So yeah, they had agents, FBI agents from Manassas from the big whatever, the big FBI and Capitol Police there, and agents from Anchorage. And there were just a lot of agents there. And I was, and I said, Well, good to know, though Nancy Pelosi, his laptop really was stolen. And is that large? That's a real thing. That's no thanks for the Intel. What does that have to do with me? So then they said, Well, we know that you were inside the Capitol, we just, we know that you were part of the raid and you're working with? And I said, Oh, well, we're gonna have a big problem, because I know I wasn't in the capital, and that I wasn't part of any things. So we already and I need to know who wants Who told you that I was in the capital. And why does somebody want me to be in the Capitol, and I was never there. And so we started this debate. And I demanded that they show me some form of evidence that they had, but I was in the Capitol, they showed me a distant photo from one of their, their Capitol cameras. And they boasted like…

Now Paul's not with us but Maryland's here, they're from Homer, Alaska. So that's about south of Anchorage not sure how far, quite a bit in it at a four-hour drive, four-hour drive, okay. You're going to have an unbelievable experience, listen to the story that they go through just regular people that got caught up in what the January 6 at the Capitol. events happened, and they just got caught up in it. And you really need to hear this story. Because this could be you. It could be anybody right now but wanted to introduce you to her Maryland. Thanks for coming on the podcast. I thank you for inviting me. I'm excited to be here. So tell us a little bit about you guys. You're operating in. Right. Yeah. Yeah. Tell us a little bit about your background just so people know that. You're not some crazy, you know, far left far-right person you're not you're just Christian. Well, we spirit fear old. Yeah. And we do live in Homer, Alaska, which shouldn't make, you know, makes us a little suspect for many things. One of the favorite bumper stickers there is. We're here cuz we're not all there. So I can't vouch completely for being normal. Most people who live in Alaska, try to avoid being too normal. Because otherwise, you know, live in the lower 48. But as far as in this context, I would say we're, you know, pretty dull and boring. As far as there's one of the reasons we live at the end of the road as far away as you can get from all the goings-on in the lower 48 is so big, you're pulled into all the goings-on in the lower 48. So it's a surprise to us, and a surprise to the community to have DC show up in Homer?A 4500 miles from Washington DC is where y'all are located. So yeah, I want the audience to understand 4500 miles away, they're enjoying life after they made a little visit to DC.So we we moved to Alaska, I moved there sight, unseen, my husband had been for a couple of weeks backpacking trip and fell in love with the area of Homer in particularly. And he kept talking about it, and he wanted to go for a visit. And finally I said, you know, there's nothing down here that we're that interested in. Let's just pack up and go and see if we'd love it or not. So we I got to Homer, and it's just a great mix of hippie, good food good are lots of variety of people, you have all spectrums of political views. And I like the diversity. The scenery is spectacular. And it's a place I say, I love the priorities of the people there because nobody cares what you drive, what you wear, what how big your house is. And I was just refreshing to be somewhere where people just want to know who you are in. What's what you're passionate about why? So we got there. And like most people who move to Homer, we had to figure out a way to make a living. And we had always been dragging people home with us that we met and putting them up and letting them eat all of our food for free. So we kind of suspected we might be good at hospitality. And then we thought, what would it be like if we bought a little place then did kind of a bed and breakfast and people actually paid to eat all of our food instead of just freeloading? So that's how it started about 21 years ago, and we're still in the same location. And we must have guessed right, because it's still working for us. Well, yeah, I saw some pictures on your Instagram of there's a deck overlooking the lake, I'll fetch your house, that's beautiful. Just to be able to just sit in there. That'd be cool. Just to sit out there and just drink in the scenery. And yeah, I say the away from it all. Yeah, be away from it all. And our motto, our intention is to bring heaven to earth. And that's a deck overlooking catch Mark Bay, in Homer, and it actually has huge tidal variation. So sometimes it looks like a quiet lake. And sometimes it looks like a very big angry ocean, we have waves will come all the way up over the 15 foot sea wall, when there's a good storm going on outside, and we have almost a 30 foot tidal variation from high tide, low tide, twice the day. So it's a very active place today on that deck of those lots to stay.So how did somebody in just this nice, sleepy, enjoyable area end up in Washington DC, on January 6, and then as you will explain a little bit later, with several FBI agents with guns at your doorstep? How does that happen? I mean, help people understand well, right. As far as getting to DC is, how we got there is not that unusual for Alaskans. Anyway, in that whenever you leave Alaska, because it is such a large, long journey, especially coming from Homer, which is still a four-hour drive to the airport, and then a flight down, and then a flight wherever you actually want to go intend to want to make it count. And this was January, so it's very winter, in Alaska, we were heading down to a friend's wedding in South Dakota, which not exactly what we're Alaskans are looking to go into that but good friends. So we went have ever told ourselves, all right, we're gonna make it up for this wedding, then, you know, we're not going to put all that traveled to waste, let's stay outside as long as we can. And so we had some time in Vegas, we had some time in Phoenix planned, grabs the sunshine play. And there was we've been I've been closely following the adjudicators and the people who have attempted to adjudicate the, for the election count, and have been listening to the eyewitness testimonies from any of the state hearing. So I had concerns about the process and was very process-oriented. And I was concerned about what was happening to the election process. And then I heard that there had been some kind of a tweet or something that went out, I don't have any social media. So I'm not. I don't follow any of them not tied in. With all those goings-on, I have too much to do, to sit on social media as far as so. And I run a spa and I want to have a peaceful life in her life. And I don't see that social media contributes to that, though. I just tend to avoid it. But I did hear that there was some kind of a tweet that had gone out and that people were invited who wanted to ask questions or stand-in and asked Congress to take a closer look at this to hold the states accountable for their electoral processes. And it happened to be the day before we had to get to return. So I thought, well, this sounds to me like maybe I got an opportunity. Maybe we're supposed to be going to this and looked online to see what was tickets, how much were tickets fee to get from Phoenix to DC for the day of the rally. And it was like 36 bucks the person and just because the tickets were so cheap, we almost would have gone anyway. Because you can't fly. We can fly from Homer to Anchorage. It's a 30-minute flight and it costs $150. So you can fly across the country for $36 you just need to do it. So yeah, that's how we got there. So you guys were at the rally. And I'm going to pull up screenshots so we can get into showing a little bit. Now for those that are on the podcast, you won't see this, you can go to the YouTube channel and check it out. Let's see, I see the map. Okay. All right. So basically, you guys flew out to DC. Tell us a little bit I guess about, just real quickly, this website you've set up we the people stand? It's kind of a because of all that you've gone through, you set this site up for other people that have had experiences in DC that need to know what's going on? that correct? That is correct. I'm actually hoping it serves a number of functions. One of the things I'm learning as I'm becoming more educated about how the law works is that any assertions or accusation unrebutted stands as truth. And since I had a bunch of agents with a lot of accusations show up in my home with guns, and pitchforks, I believed that it was important for me to rebut their accusations. And they didn't seem interested in letting me do that with them. So I thought that my best recourse was to bring it to the public. And I was encouraged, though, I wanted to put it there. So I was on record as to what my actions had been that day, anything that I had or hadn't been involved, and then also to encourage others to have a voice of sharing what their eyewitness experiences, because we're getting a lot of blowback on popular media, creating, in my mind creating a narrative. And most of the people who are speaking about it are not eyewitnesses to the event. And the way they're putting together I guess that's one way I've explained it as we have a number of friends who were involved in what are they called reality TV shows. And so it's hard to remember what they're called because of how little reality is in them. And I've learned from these friends that that they'll create a story arc for the show, they'll take a lot of footage. And apparently, the FBI has hundreds of hours of footage. That's what they told me. And now that's coming out in the media as well. And they're handpicking a few slices of that to fit and a narrative and arc story that they wanted to create. But if you looked at the footage in totality, it wouldn't support that story at all. So I believe that not just myself, but there were hundreds of 1000s of patriots there, I believe we need to rebut the story, we need to share our experience our eyewitness experience about what's going on, I would caution that if you had been invited inside of the Capitol or been side of the Capitol, don't share because that you're in a very vulnerable situation. But the hundreds of 1000s the majority of people were never in the capital. And in many, we're never even near the capital. So those people I believe, are in a safe enough position to get their stories on record, cuz we need to not let the history books reflect what's being presumed and accused inserted. And if we don't rebut it, but stance is true. So we need to rebut it. Good point. And this is where you, you guys come into all this is that go through, we'll walk through this, but you actually never made it into the capital, you were on the grounds, but you were never in the capital. And as you'll see in just minute things. You know, things went really way off the charts of several months later. So take us through your day there. And we'll kind of walk through this. So you got there. What, eight o'clock, sir. So we have an uneventful flight in Yeah, we had an uneventful flight in the night before I stayed outside of DC where we could actually enjoy a meal. They had DC very locked down and then grabbed an Uber in in the morning, probably 70 and get in line with the other hundreds of 1000s of people. And we don't usually do lines but since your since it was just a day of standing around anyway, we thought well, we'll get into the line to go into the lips because if we're gonna be here all the way from Alaska, we might as well be up close to not just looking at it from jumbotrons you know, a mile back. So we went ahead and got in the long line to see if we could be seven The people in the ellipse up close to the platform and get to have eyes, eye eyes on close enough to see ourselves the people speaking. And that was a, you know, a couple of hour journey to get into the ellipse. And then once in there, you just hang out, you do all the things you do when you're at a rally, this is my first one. But it seemed very typical, you chair these things you chance you, you know, visit with the other people around you. So it's six hours of standing around, basically, in the cold, it rained a little bit it was about it was almost it was prior to right around freezing. And then when the they announced Trump about 11am, and according to the schedule, we had seen there were supposed to be a break from 9am till noonish. And then everyone was supposed to walk to the Capitol and stand up for the Capitol. Be there for the one o'clock when it went into session, and just be a presence outside saying Hi, we're here. Or we have eyes on, you know, do the right thing. And they, the speaker started at 9am and then 11. And they announced Trump. And then an hour later he came out to speak so.So that was odd. to people around. Well, that's but I've never been to anything. So I mentioned that. And they said oh, he's always late. So I was like, okay, and I'm thinking in my head. But aren't we supposed to walk to the Capitol by 10 o'clock, because it's at least a 45-minute walk, because it's a long way away? And this is hundreds of 1000s maybe a million people. But whatever is shown on the map here. elliptical grounds South is over here. And then you've walked on took it you say it took you an hour and 38 minutes? Well, that was your timeline. Back then it takes longer if you go the wrong opposite way first. So like over here to the one that was part of our challenges, yeah, being directionally challenged. And so when Trump showed up at noon to start speaking, I thought, well, maybe he's just gonna keep it short. So we can all walk down there. But he didn't keep it short. He went over an hour. So he didn't finish till after one o'clock. And, and a lot of people were kind of complaining, like, Hey, I weren't supposed to walk to the capitals. So but you know, it's not our show. So then finally, he finished that, about 110 15. And there's cheering and music, and then we're all supposed to walk down to the Capitol. And by this point, half the people were around and going, like, what's the point? whatever they're gonna do, they've already done and we're still here. So half people, we're around, we're like, yeah, we're just going to lunch and going home. People left left the mall that we had been near. Now you say, one spot here, you say hurting and praying with intensity and resolve. So there's a lot of prayer going on with different groups. And yeah, lots are going on and meet, we had an hour between when they announced Trump coming out when he actually did come out. So there was a lot of opportunity in time just to be in prayer. So there was a lot of prayer going on. And people just, it really had a sense of holy ground that people were just grieving and concerned that there were severe problems with the electoral proce…

That is showing us the difference between social justice and biblical justice. And if you're aware right now, we're in a major battle within the school board systems in our schools about critical race theory, and all the demonic stuff that's involved in that what they're trying to do to our kids. And he just really gives a very detailed, clear understanding of the roots of a lot of this social justice movement that Karl Marx and the socialism that comes out of that. And we need to really wake up to to know the roots of this, this. I call it a demonic attack on our country. And so we need to look at that and I think he gives one of the best explanations of this body wears many hats. He's a husband and a father. He's a former pastor. He's also an author, speaker. He currently serves as the Dean of the theology of African Christian University in Lusaka, Zambia, voting makes the Bible clear and demonstrates the relevance of God's Word and everyday life. However, he does this without compromising the centrality of Christ and the gospel, his emphasis around cultural apologetics. Now whether teaching on classical apologetic issues like the validity and the history of the Bible, or the resurrection of Christ, helps ordinary people like myself, understand the significance of thinking and living biblically in everyday life. So this is a really detailed and fantastic sermon that he gives. And I just wanted to replay that for you the links to the YouTube video, and to Coleridge Presbyterian Church where he gave it out. So that'll be in the description at the bottom. And so you can go click on it further and learn more about those organizations. But take a listen, I think you'll enjoy it.When we talk about defending the faith, a lot of times people get upset about defending the faith, we get upset, we don't like the idea of apologetics we don't like the idea of, you know, US claiming to be right and assuming that other people are wrong, and so on and so forth. So, there, there's that idea, we have a problem with that. But then, we also have a problem and probably more of a problem with the idea of engaging forcefully in a disagreement over ideology. Because what I like to call the 11th commandment, the 11th commandment is thou shalt be nice. And we don't believe the other 10. Right. And so there are Christians, who if they see you engaging forcefully on an issue, let's say abortion, for example, you're engaged in a debate about abortion. And let's say that in your advocacy of a pro-life position, you are less than kind. There are Christians, especially millennials that I'm not trying to pick on millennials, but you know who you are. They're especially millennials, they are more offended by you being less than kind in a debate about abortion than they are about babies being slaughtered in the womb. And ironically, they will be less than kind toward you about being less than kind on the issue of abortion and will feel completely justified in their attack on you because you violated the 11th commandment.Which is far more grievous than violating the sixth. Do you see that? It's crazy. See how this happens. And then another way that this manifests itself is, you know, abortion, homosexuality, whatever. What you often see is, people will come at you, you're engaging on these issues. And they'll say, the reason that we have all these problems is because of people like you. Because if we were more lovingSo the problem is not sodomy. The problem is, us being less than loving. On the issue of sodomy. So, we've got these two issues, number one, from an ideological philosophical perspective, we don't like the concept of apologetics. And then two, from a dispositional perspective, just our disposition is that we just don't want to engage in these battles. In fact, we don't even like the word battle. We don't like war language. We're Christians, we should not be engaging in battles with people should be loving people. And so I want to look at two passages, scripture one, Ephesians, chapter six, beginning verse 10. Finally be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities against the cosmic powers, over this present darkness and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. So, metaphor, number one, wrestling, hand to hand combat. That's a metaphor, number one, okay? Again, it's not me, I don't write the mail, I just deliver it. Okay. So that's a metaphor, number one wrestling hand to hand combat, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, verse 13. Therefore, take on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand an evil day, having done all to stand firm, stand there for having fastened on the belt of truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace, in all circumstances, taking up the shield of faith, which with which you can quench extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one, and take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert, with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. By the way, this metaphor is not a metaphor for wrestling. This is a metaphor for combat. This metaphor is the uniform of a Roman soldier, centurion, all the way down to the sword. So if you don't like combat language, you got a problem with God. Next passage. In fact, there's a third one I want to add here, go to Jude. It reads exudes a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to those who are called beloved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ. By the way, that's three references to the same group of people called beloved and God the father kept for Jesus Christ, that's Christians. It's all of us. May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. Don't miss that. All Christians and any says may mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. Because one of the things that people think about apologetics and about this war language is that it stands in opposition to things like mercy, peace, and love that we're supposed to be defined by. Right. And so verse two he says, may mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. verse three. Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. Now, at Banco Ninjami, and I don't think we need to be running around throwing Greek terms everywhere, but that one just loves saying it.It literally means to wrestle to engage in hand-to-hand combat. So verse two, he wants mercy, peace, and love to be multiplied to you. And in verse three, he wants you to go hand to hand in combat, which means that there is no contradiction between being a loving Christian and engaging in the combat of apologetics. Now, second Corinthians chapter 10. And let's begin. First one, we usually like to go to verse four, verse fours, in the middle of a paragraph, we got to go to verse one to really put this in its proper context. And we see some really some amazing nuances here with the Apostle Paul, I, Paul myself, entreat you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ. Now, don't miss that he's, there's a play on words, there are plays on words here, and treat you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ. We got meekness and gentleness, I who am humble when face to face with you, but bold toward you when I'm away. By the way, that's an accusation made against Paul, that he's responding to. Oh, you don't talk big like that when you're present. But when you get the pen in your hand, and you write letters, all of a sudden you're bold, right? So he refers to the meekness and gentleness of Christ, and he says, I am humble and face to face with you, but bold toward you, when I'm away. That's sarcasm. I beg of you that when I am present, I may not have to show boldness with such confidence as I count on showing against some who suspect us of walking according to the flesh. That's a threat. Are you catching this? Man, verse three, for we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. There we go, again, with war language. So personal hand-to-hand combat language. Now in fairness, when he's talking about this wrestling, he's really talking probably about Greco-Roman wrestling, maybe making a reference to the isthmian games, right? he's not he's using that metaphor. But here, and also, in Ephesians, chapter six, there is no doubt, but he's talking about combat. He's talking about combat. And I believe that we, I'm not gonna say must engage in combat over these issues. Because I believe we are engaged in combat over these issues. There is a war being waged and it is a war being waged against us. A war being waged against the gospel. So how do we do this? One, that we walk in the flesh, we're not waging war according to the flesh, I think here. And in this passage, if you look back at Ephesians, Paul says, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood against rulers, authorities, cosmic powers. And here, Paul says though, we walk in the flesh, we're not waging war according to the flesh. We're not at war with people. Amen. Somebody, we're not at war with people. I'm not at war with with with Robyn D'Angelo, or Abram Kendi. I'm not at war with Christians who have adopted their ideology. I'm not at war with those people. I'm at war with those ideas that stand in opposition to the truth of the gospel. And I think that's the best important thing. And think about how slick Satan is on this. So God commands us to engage in this combat. Right? We see it in Jude, we see it in a fusion, we see it in Second Corinthians, there's no doubt but that God calls us to engage in this combat, but the adversary a snit in. It has been so slick, that he has made Christians have an aversion to the very combat that we're called to engage in. God calls us to do something. And the enemy has caused us to think that that thing we're called to do is actually evil. Did you see that? That's sinister. And that's where we are. That's where we are. And part of the way that he's done that is to remove this reality that we are not at war with the flesh. We are not at war with people. We walk in the flesh, but we are not waging war according to the flesh. And that's something that we need to keep in mind. Not only in the sense of, you know, fighting against that aversion that we have. But we also need to keep it in mind on the other side, because there's a ditch on both sides of the road. On the one side of the road, there's the person who doesn't keep this in mind. And there, they're loath to engage in the combat of apologetics. And on the other hand, as the person that doesn't keep this in mind, and loves engaging in the combat of apologetics, but they make it personal. They mean nasty, obnoxious. Right? The gospel is offensive enough, it doesn't need your help. Amen, somebody. For we walk in the flesh, we're not waging war according to the flesh. We need to keep this in mind. Keeping this in mind, by the way, means that it will keep us on our knees. Keeping this in mind means that we will be forever mindful of the fact that we're not calling upon our own abilities. But we're calling upon God Himself. We're not waging war according to the flesh. This has nothing to do with with with you being intelligent enough or sophisticated enough or aggressive enough or has nothing to do with that. We're not waging war according to the flesh. For for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but have divine power to destroy strongholds. So first, in order for us to engage in this battle, we have to understand that it's a spiritual battle. And secondly, in order to engage in this battle, we have to understand the power of our weaponry. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have defined the power to destroy strongholds. And one their power is divine. And not human in origin, a man God's power, but secondly, because they are divine. They have the power to destroy strongholds. The word strongholds can also be understood as fortresses or castles. Is it an amazing use of terminology here? And we kind of miss it. We got to miss it because of where we're situated in history. But put this in its historical context. Paul is saying that our weapons are of divine power, and they have the power to destroy strongholds. Now, Paul is living during a time where if someone is in a fortress or a stronghold, the only way that you can defeat them is through siege warfare. In other words, you would have to encamp around their fortress around their city around their wall, and you would have to build siege works. Literally, you'd have to have engineers in the field. And it could take you, you know, days weeks, depending on the size of your siege works and the size of the fortress that you are attacking, to just to build your seeds works. And then as you engage your seeds works, it may take you weeks or months in order to breakthrough. Or you'd have to starve them out and hope they didn't have sources of food and water and hope that they would want not run out of resources before you would run out of resources. It could take years to siege a fortress. And Paul says, our weapons are so mighty that they can do in an instant. Where it takes man-weeks, months, or years to accomplish. There wasn't a weapon known to man that can do what Paul just said. Now you and I, you know we can be seduced into not understanding this text because we you know, we got bunker-busting bombs, you know, means mother of all bombs, right? Did we get so we got nuclear weapons that can wipe out a city like that, right? And so, here's our temptation. Our temptation is to say, Paul is referring to a weapon that is more like our nuclear bombs. No, that's not Paul's point. Paul's point is, no matter how powerful in the human natural realm, your weapons are, I'm talking about something exponentially more powerful than anything your puny human mind can imagine. Whether All you know is siege works, or whether you know, nuclear weapons. What I'm talking about is more than that, because our warfare is in a completely different realm. And the same thing, that's good news. Why is it good news? I get letters I get emails all the time from people who are flat-out discouraged. They've had to leave their Christian organization. They've had to leave the ministry that they were working for. They've had to leave their church. I get emails from people who've been asked to leave their church, because…

All right. So what does that look like? Well, up until Constantine, we had those cylinders firing to the five-cylinder engine running on one cylinder all these years putt putt putt instead of wrong, you know? And so that's why it's taken 2000 years, right? People say, Are you saying that we are the reason that God has waited? Oh, yeah. People get really upset when you say that. It's like who show me that in Scripture? Well, if you live this way, you hasten the day of the Lord's coming. Well, we haven't been living that way ever since that was written in the first century. All right, well, you know what I'm trying to say. Right, so the fivefold ministry, so you get a young minister, here's the best way I can explain it. I'm not dissing anybody. All right. except for us in general, we missed it. We need to repent, we need to get led by the Spirit of God. Again, the main goal of what I'm sharing is intimacy with Jesus time alone with Jesus, it's the answer. And we could you could, we could come back to that, but I can, praying in the Spirit and that kind of thing. Right? That's, that's eating from the tree of life.Yes. That's the difference right there. It's time alone, like those two young men that I told you about that at the braised in the church, and never had a miracle came to me desperately. I'll share that in a minute if you remind me. But I want to finish this thought on the fivefold ministry. So a young minister, you know, he gets out of what I call the cemetery. seminary. I call it cemetery because, by the time liberal theologians get done with you, you're lucky to be a Christian anymore. Yeah, they'll mess you up. But so, you know, knowledge puffs up it's real. So But anyway, so he gets out of these gonna go and rocket into world evangelism. Right? He's all excited. Started church and what do you do a rental hall? preach his buns off. All right, preach, preach, preach and pass the hat. See what happened? Right. And I'm being a little flip with it. But you know, and then it starts to take off, you know, people say, Well, he pretty good teacher. And, you know, when he got to go there for a while, just by proxy, you know, I live close or whatever. So things started to take me. Well, he gave men you know, he took captivity captive and gave gifts to men. That's the Scripture. Right? So what gifts to give apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, and then and then the other gifts, right? And so, let's say that this young man is an evangelist. Alright, okay. Or a prophet, or even an apostle? Right? Young apostle, a lot of people you'd be surprised how many people in the body of Christ think that there was only 12. You know, it's an office, it's a gift. It's a calling to this very day, and it was like 20, some named in the New Testament. But anyway, so. So he goes out and he gets a church. He starts in charities, preaches every Sunday, right? But he's not a pastor. So pretty soon he's got counseling going every day. He's got dad is delegating all this stuff to all these people. He's got, he gets caught up in the ministry thing, and he does the only thing that's out there. So when a guy comes out of the cemetery, out of seminary, and he goes to start his Adventist formal ministry, he's only got one place he can go pulpit. Okay, because that's what we inherited from Constantine. But the other four gifts. We haven't heard from them. And the reason we haven't matured the way we should have and wrap this thing up so that the Lord would see that his bride was on track, mature without spot or wrinkle, and come back is that those other four-cent cylinders weren't firing in that engine. Now, you say, Well, wait a minute, well, let me put it this way. When the printing press came out, right, and well, really, when the 95 theses went up, right when Luther said, No, no, no, we've had it with this whole Vatican thing. You know, you're not going to control us anymore. We can read the Bible. We can, we can understand we can be like we were in the first century. That's basically what he was saying. And he had his issues that everybody does, you know. And, but so when the printing press came out, here came all this Christian literature. Well, the different Christian authors, some were prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, and apostles. And they would write from that slant. Okay, that kind of Revelation, you know, each one of those gets, you have a little bit of different slant, you know, and, and once Christians began to not only be able to read the word, which is infinitely more important, that's what started things, you know, people because the Vatican wouldn't let anybody read the Bible except the priests. And can you imagine that?Sounds familiar? Let's see, there's, yeah, I won't go there. Anyway. So like where we are right now in the world. So true, cannot be spoken. Unless one party speaks it? I'm sorry, what truth cannot be spoken unless one party speaks it? Oh, you mean? Yeah. In the church in that? No.And? Well, what I was thinking when you said that is that, you know, the conservative Christian voice cannot be spoken. Because the people that have the mic, are in control. Oh, I see. Yes, I'm saying so there that is up there, up there in this corner in the media and the social media. Yeah. Political parties involved. The only truth that can be spoken is what they think is true. Yeah, well, yeah. And everybody else has to sit in the Pew and take it and so well, that principle has worked itself out into that's the fruit of what I'm talking about. And, and a lot another way we could go there. That's a whole nother thing, because what we've done in the process of losing the other five other for gifting, right, was we abdicated, we no longer understood that we were supposed to be in the gate. Meaning, you know, Dietrich Bonhoeffer stood up against Hitler. Because he understood this. Christians are supposed to influence the world, we're some this world should be we're salt and light, we should, this world should be under the influence of the church not you know, and we've abdicated, we've let we've surrendered our influence and authority and authority. Absolutely. But what's coming, and that's where you're talking about what where we are now, what's coming is the is that what we're in is the reestablishment of the apostolic. We've been in the prophetic restoration, which came with the charismatic renew. And now, for some time now, we've been in the Apostolic restoration of that, that gift is being restored. With that one comes authority. We're going to see manifest authority and apostolic means explain that a little bit more.Well, apostolic a lot of people think well, an apostle plant churches. Oh, that's true. But that's just one of the things that app, app stock person does. He also has authority for oversight and, and, you know, teaching, put it this way, you are an apostle, it can fire on the other cylinders because Jesus is in us. And this is true for all of us, right? A lot of people don't realize this in the body don't realize, either. It's the Spirit of the Lord that does anything. You know, like we were praying before we started this like, it's the anointing the bricks do. Right? This is not about good teaching. Paul said so he said, you know, the gospel is not about clever words of men's wisdom, but about the demonstration of the spirit and power. Well, we lost power in the Fourth, third century because of Constantine. Right, and he took over and we've been a mess ever since. But coming back to that fivefold ministry thing, when Christian literature came out, they you know, this is God, because for me to come back and remember where I was, anyway, Christian literature brought those other parts to the surface, yes to the bride, so she could go, oh, wow, never thought of that. And then we start getting the whole counsel of God. What does it say about the fivefold ministry? It's why was it given? Right? For the edification of the bride? Right. To we all come to what the fullness is a statue of Christ. You can do that. Wow, that's Ephesians and Colossians. Right there, maybe. But anyway, so I wanted to complete that thought it's so important. Right? Well, so in the last special, especially 50 years, there's been this explosion of Revelation. Coming, especially with the reestablishment of the charismatic Well, with the Charismatic Renewal renewal came the prophetic perception, which is not just the telling, for telling, it's telling for you have teaching profits, and you have Sears, you know, that kind of thing. But anyway, so, I know, this has been very long-winded, but it's so, so important that we get these three, or four things in, in our perception in our knowledge. You know, it says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. So they're going to be people that, you know, face him on that day and say, Hey, we did miracles in your name, alright. And he's gonna say, I never knew you. He's going to reject those people. And they pray, and they pressed into the word so far, they found that there's intrinsic power in the word itself. What do you mean, you could get a miracle without really hanging out with Jesus? The Word of God is so powerful. It's creative. It's the Word of God. It's so powerful that given a certain element of how would you diligence, right? You can hard work? Yeah, yeah. Just, yeah, just applying the Word of God on a certain level. You can he can break through and start to get you to know, something on the other side. That is the supernatural. That's how they did. They were casting out demons. I mean, there's power in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, I command you to come out, they're going to come out. I mean, if you do that enough, right. And people get deliverance ministries and stuff. That's not a fivefold ministry, by the way, that's just happening. By course. That's why the Lord said, don't get hung up on that. Right? Hey, you know, they said, Lord, even the spirits are subject to our name, right? Well, he gave him that authority, that authority came to them before the resurrection. We forget that. Yeah. So there's power and intrinsically, there's power in the Word of God. And these people were using that separate from an intimate relationship with the Lord. Well, you know,if you think about it, what we, you know, what are we doing? You know, what, each Sunday we go, you know, Honey, what time is it? Are we're gonna miss the game? You know, he, what is he done? Yeah, you know, hide in the pews and the big church and all that stuff. I'm kind of tanging now, but well, you get the point. So where we are, is that the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, right? Right, is what we do, and often, not always. And what we've done so far is we have worshiped the Ministry of Lord rather than the Lord of the minister, both in the pews and in the pulpit. And we find our identity in ministry. You know, it's like a pastor, Pastor. So, if you look at history, the first three centuries, we go We could just be like the early church. Oh, really? Well, the pastor was back man, the pastor was supposed to work himself out of the job. And he wasn't supposed to have a whole bunch of people. Because then you can't tell, you know, the church then was small, all of them because you know, everybody's stuff. And that's how you grow. But in a big church, I mean, you could be sitting next to an ax murderer and you wouldn't know it. Do you know? You could hide there and a drug addict or bad marriage. Well, yeah, no, unless, yeah, yeah. And the relationship with them.So but the point is, we've made our own train, get on the train. Okay. Sorry, I lost my train of thought.Anyway, so but this is so serious, you know, and I don't mean to be flipped with it. I tend to get very colloquial, and, you know, but that's just because I want to, I want to make sure people, my brothers and sisters are realizing I don't have an agenda. I'm not trying to be somebody I am. I'm desperate to fulfill my calling. Right. And it? My, you know, I, I don't want to get into that. But so that book restoration, preparing for his fullness, discusses this. All right. And we have to make sure we have to get along with the Lord, we need to repent, not only for what we've allowed happening in our nation, in the murdering of 60 million children, right. Not only do we need to repeat for repent for all of that stuff, but we need to get along with Jesus in a way we've never done before. All right,I'm hearing that I'm, you know, as I'm seeing different people leaders out there speaking, it's amazing how many are saying the same thing or saying, you know, it's really getting down to where it's one on one, it's in that closet, in that bedroom, and that on that couch, wherever you would out in the world, Lord Jesus, you know, just you and him. Yeah, that's it. I mean, that we've gotten away from that so much.Yeah. And that's the answer across the board. Because you can't, you know, it's the anointing that breaks the yoke, you can't you know, if they came to this, Lord, you know, we can't cast this demon out. Right. And he said These come out by prayer and fasting. So there's an element of diligence involved. He doesn't want robots. Right? He wants a family. So, so looking at good and evil in life, then everything we tend to be doing here. You know, is found in intimacy on the other hand, this is pure intimacy. Yeah. Client mystery. Hmm. So if you go climb a tree, which tree are you climbingYeah, day, and climbing that tree. That's a whole nother teaching there. It's like, you know, some people, they have a religious experience, they feel the warm cookies off the presence of the Lord or something. Right. And they that's Christianity for the rest of our life.Yeah. And they never get baptized in the Holy Ghost, they never come to the next level. They never spend time alone with him. And it's just once a while they read the Bible and feel good about themselves. And that's, that's the bulk of Christianity. I hate to say it, but and we can't do that. And then another now that next level is people going to church all the time being diligent, you know, and doing this stuff. And they're still not alone in the Jesus lot. And, and we get it. I mean, I get, it so hard for a lot of people sometimes. Oh, yeah, five kids, you know, job all day. It's not easy. No, it's not to say that it is easy. It's not easy, but that's what's most important.Well, and what you know, in one sense, it's easy because if you get to a certain point, and you say, Lord, I can't, I can't do what I'm supposed to do. I'm, I'm weak and worn out. There's too much at Hill and you I lay it at your feet and he lifts it. This Christianity either says supernatural or bunk, right? If you're not having the supernatural in your space, something is Wrong. You know, now that's a…

How do you say bluesy, bluesy Vox, you are a blues artist?Well, I'm considered Yeah, vocally, I go there a lot, came up through the r&b ranks, and in on grew up, you know, through the clubs and did the circuit and then the constants are good in blah, blah, blah. And my roots always come out in a lot of this stuff. I write and record and produce and perform 40 years in the business. You've seen a lot, I'm sure well, over actually. Quite a bit. Or you're still a young guy. I like it. Yeah, yeah, stop. With the girl do stop bringing it up. Like, I'm glad you accept this invitation, sit down and talk a little bit about the sacred place, but especially what we're going through in this day and age. And just for those watching. This is my closet. This is where my clothes are nothing fancy. But this is my secret place, a place that I commune with God that I see it and listen and look to hear from what he says work. And so, you know, hey, wherever you can find a place to hear God. Quietly without distractions. Go do it. That's what the Bible says. And that's what I'm doing. So what we're talking about today, is how God is speaking to his people. As they're in the secret place as they're spending time with the Lord. And what is he saying during this time of quarantine, if you're viewing this or you're hearing this podcast 20 years from now, or 10 years from now we are in we're in a major quarantine pandemic virus is going on this country in this world? It's pretty much shut down everything except hospitals and grocery stores, and some takeout restaurants. So where we're at in this, I'd like to hear from those that are really seeking after God's heart, in his voice as to what he's saying, you know, all across the globe, actually, whether it's in business, in politics, and government, in church, and religion, and just to hear what he's telling this world. So that's why I brought Rick and, Rick, you've got a couple of books out you've written but the one that I've been reading is the restoration book. And which you wrote back in 2008, I believe 2006 2008. And just the first chapter. So you, I mean, it's like I'm reading, something you wrote that long ago, is like spot on today that we're dealing with. So what is God saying to you right now, in this in this time, we're in what's been saying to you about personally, and then saying to the church, and then saying, what do we need to do out of that? Well, I know that's a lot of questions. You may repeat. fine. Yeah, no, I, I am dragging my knuckles into the 21st century. So you might have to meander back in here. Seriously. You know, the main thrust of where we are right now, a lot of there's a lot of commentaries, a lot of prophetic guys out there. saying it's this, it's that it means this it means that and some are on and I'm sorry that summer, you know, just doing fluff and but, you know, let me put it this way. When Jesus you know, when he was 12 he went into the temple, right and chided and exposed and humiliated that fat cat theologians hanging around the temple at that time, with revelation way over their heads and they were astonished. Well, he, you know, he went home and he realized what I've got a hold, you know, for the rest of his until he was 30 he might as well been holding a full braided bridle of 12 Clydesdales that wanted to run, you know, all the revelation wisdom and zeal you can imagine why it says, the zeal The Lord has consumed. And he had to hold that in till he was 30 Well, when he came out, you know, he went into the wilderness to be tempted when he came out of the wilderness, you would think, to start his formal ministry, who would think the first thing out of his mouth would be pretty, pretty heavy on his heart and the main thrust of what he where he was going to go with the first thing he said out of his mouth was repent. And, you know, that's an archaic word to us today. You say repent to the average person and they in the go different places it mentally but the general you know, subconscious imagery is on, you know, dirty homeless guy with a big placard walking back and forth in front of City Hall or something right, movies have done good for breaking that habit. Oh, yeah. And so they've relegated that to, you know, something irrelevant to our culture. And it's the most relative, I mean, the relevant thing we, we need to do it well, so anyway, that's the big picture. And why would he lift his hand of protection? why that's big question. You know, like, why did he live to lift his hand of protection? And, you know, he's always done that. You know, the Bible, the Old Testament says, These things were written for our admonition upon I mean, New Testament says these things were written referring to the Old Testament these things were written for our admonition upon whom the ends of the world have come so what it's really saying there is that hey, you're supposed to learn from our mistakes and any over and over redundantly he dealt with Israel this way. You know, he would bless Israel so heavy, they would get distracted. busy. self-centered, self-focus, myopic, right? Like I always say it it's easy to kill a whitetail deer from trees dang they never look up. Right? Yeah. And that's you know, and so, Mister what I call Mr. Damage Satan. He's, he's up in that tree, you know, and most people are just, they're just going about their business, fixing this and making that being somebody replaces Ah, spiritual warfare in higher places.Yeah, he's up there. You know, and I, in one of my recent videos, on one of my other channels, I mentioned that, you know, when Satan fell, you know, well, let me back up and say, you know, people will say, Well, yeah, what's going on right now is Satan's getting kicked out there's war in heaven and Satan getting kicked out of the third heaven? No, no, he was already kicked out of the third. He's when he fell he he said they set up in the second heaven because there's a they could block the prayers of the saint and set up stronghold now. For those that might not follow that talking point, I guess, are just the three types of heaven. Heavens. Yeah, right. Paul mentions that and then second Heaven is where powers and principalities rule. Yes third heaven is where Jesus is.Yeah, okay. And a lot you'd be surprised that many Christians don't have a clue about this right there in front of them the whole time. That's why Paul said we battle not against flesh and blood but against powers principalities, spiritual wickedness and heavenly places. And that last word in the Greek is crowd Cosmo crowd ploy. And I you know, it sound important, I just had this fancy seriously, it's all Greek for all these years. But seriously, and this is hardly the time for levity with what's going on on the planet. So I have to watch myself. I'm a combat veteran, I found out humor helps keep the troops morale up. But so David said, when i sin, the heavens became like bread. Right. So if we break the communications God can't get through because he's delegated While he, ultimately he can, of course, you know, lift his hand and protection, but what we're looking at is God is delegated free will to us, because we have responsibility. We're being groomed to rule and reign with Christ. So we have a privileged mandate to bring those strongholds down. Right in the second half. That's what Paul is talking about. Right? He says, you know, we, we, after he says that about tearing down the stronghold, you know, and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Right. So that's part of our mandate is to bring all that down. And of course, people say, Well, if Satan was completely defeated at the cross, right, how come the devil is alive and well in my neighborhood? Yeah, good question. Like, why was there a snake in the garden? We're not gonna go there. I can break that down. I do that in my first book. But the point is, God gave is so wise. He did two things. He's grooming us to rule and reign with Christ forever. Right. So this is our privileged participation in the fight. This is our training ground. Yes, it's an apprenticeship. And a guy named Paul Billheimer, one of the brilliant theologians Paul Billheimer wrote a book many years ago. And he will he wrote, several, you know, don't waste your sorrows. And But anyway, that's what he addresses is, this is our apprenticeship, right? destined for the throne is the is the book. And it's amazing. And so we have this privilege of tearing down these strongholds there, you know, it's like a map of operation. That's what spiritual warfare is, is about, well, if you buy into fear, you step out of out of faith, you step out of faith and faith, that which is not a faith, it's sin. And of course, there's grace. You know, as we grow through learning how that work. There's a lot but lots of fear in this world right now. Oh, man, and that's why I'm going on I know, And so, but But anyway, so what's happening right now is very pragmatic, really, spiritually and tangibly, we're supposed to be on our knees doing what is called identification of repentance. As John Dawson in his book, "Taking our cities for God"wrote, identification, repentance is we are identifying with the sins of our nation, which are many. And we're asking the Lord to forgive us. We're repenting and behalf of our nation, to bring us back to where we were when at our inception. You know, I can prove to you that we were a Christian nation, or that's a popular thing right now. Oh, yeah. Nobody, nobody wants to hear that.Well, what's amazing, your God is calling us to repent, at the same time. The other side is beating the daylights out of Christianity and marriage and, and those foundational principles that we believe in. And it's through media, it's, I mean, we see it, you can't turn the television on without feeling like you know, being a Christian is a bad thing, or being wealthy is a bad thing or, or believing that marriage is is the right way to go, man, woman only and that's a bad thing. So yeah, there's definitely a war going on, too. It's a cultural war. And the way from what I see, but you know, we're fighting two types of wars. You know, we got the spiritual part, but we also have where we're on the earth, trying to do good.Yeah, yeah. Well, it always, you know, ends up on terra firma. whatever is going on in this in the heavenly will manifest here. Very few people ever put that together. They don't press in far enough to breakthrough.Explain that just a little bit deeper. You know, CS Lewis. Right. First time you read the New Testament before he got you know, saved. He said, Oh, I see. The universe is at war. Right. And Churchill, he saw the connection. Churchill. Why would he quote, what we've been talking About here in Ephesians, as the allies are crossing the channel to go invade Normandy and World War Two, he quoted we battle not against flesh and blood, but against power of principalities, spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. Well, why it sounds like he's, he's endorsing nonphysical combat. In other words, it, you know, it sounds like a contradiction. Well, what he was saying is now we're going to the source baby. They knew, yeah, me people don't know this. Hitler was in radically into the occult. I'm talking Satan. He had necromancy going on to add human bones in the rituals, all of that's historically documented. And many and many of his cadre were involved in. And so he, he, he had the spirit of the world. And the devil himself helping him to sail take over the planet. Sounds familiar? It sounds for me. Yeah. And, yeah, so the bottom line is they knew what they were dealing with. So in answer to that, you know, we're, we're in a war, Satan hates your guts wants to kill you. Yeah, that sounds trite. And but this is real. This is real combat. And it's actually a privilege to be involved. You, you say it's kind of trite. But that, you know, when you read the word, and it says, we're in a spiritual battle, I don't. I mean, I look at that, and I go, hold on just saying it. Let's you just love this. You set your clocks not to go off and you get a reminder that I got to drink my water. Got a drink of water, so many gallons a day or whatever. Oh, you're on a regimen. Yeah, I'm just trying to be healthy. You know,I got it. Hey, when I said try it, what I meant was that cliche, not what we're talking about, obviously.Well, you know, as I look at that, look at reading that, and experience, this culture we're in you, it really brings it home, when you look at that, and you say this is some of the stuff we're coming against right now. Is so above our heads, that logic can explain it sometimes. And you're like, this is just crazy. And that's what the second book is, I'm trying to reveal in the second book. And so as we as regular Christian, I call them regular Christians, you know, we that when I say regular Christians, this just my own thinking, I got you is that we're kind of like this when I was out at the store, one of the local hardware stores, you had people that were covered with masks and gloves, and just like, thought we were under attack. And then you had other people that were just walking with no protection and people of older age, which are more susceptible to what's going on to the war that's going that's attacking the older people, mainly, they were walking around with no protection, it was kind of like, it was a surreal situation where you had two different worlds in the same space, two levels of fear, two levels of fear. One may have not been fear at all just like yeah, that's what I meant. You know, I was one of those crazies that didn't wear masks and gloves and I'm like, you know, I guess I could be bad for that but at the same time you know, I try not to use religion as any kind of protector but I don't know it's just it's I wasn't going to succumb to the fear that was being perpetrated upon the people to this country you know, that we're seeing really pushed on this country's a spirit of fear on this country has gripped the world and at some point, you look at it you go How much is that is really manufactured fear and how much of it is actually you know, be smart wash your hands, don't cough in people's faces, you know, don't lick your hand and smacks me in the face something you know some stupid just drip just protect yourself because our bodies have to fight off naturally or God creator bodies to fight viruses. No and…
