As we continue learning more about what God's Word says about love, we will be digging into Matthew 5:43-47.

In this Podcast I will be sharing this passage of scripture with a brief message on why we should love our enemies. Even though many of us do not have real enemies, we may dislike people based on our experiences or perception of them and vice versa, but that doesn't make then an enemy.

Once again, I am keeping it real and letting you know that Jesus teaches that we are to love and pray for these people. Because He states in verse 45:

"In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven."

Want to act like a true Child of God? Love those who don't like you or care about you. It's in His Word folks, remember that. Jesus commanded us to love. Put down your guard, focus on representing Him and share the gift of love with the world. My prayer as always is that you are blessed and encouraged by my message and podcast. As I continue with this important message about Love I want to encourage you to listen to the previous episodes in this short series. John recorded in the book of John 13 34-35

"So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples."

Jesus said these words and there is only one way to interpret them, He commanded us as followers of Jesus Christ, to Love each other. He even gave us one of the reasons, and that is so the world will know that we are His disciples.

What more do we need for us to start obeying this commandment? It's time Brother's and Sister's to step up to the plate and show the Love of Christ. Not just inside a building but more importantly out in the streets, our towns, cities, states, and Countries. People need to see us loving and caring about one another. The division must stop or we will have to answer for this when we stand before the Lord when that time comes.

I don't know about you but as for me, I plan on showing you all that I Love You so that the world will know who I am a follower of Jesus Christ, one who sees others through His eyes with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. In part 2 of this important series I want to encourage you with some great verses that the Apostle John wrote. If we as the Body of Christ can learn to love one another as Jesus commanded things would look a lot different. There would be less division among believers and more Unity. Jesus commanded us to love one another to show the world proof that we are His disciples. This is not an option if we are to step up and be the real church. John wrote in 1 John

1 John 3:18-19 : 18 Dear children, let's not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions. 19 Our actions will show that we belong to the truth, so we will be confident when we stand before God.

My prayer is that this podcast encourages you to show love in a way that will infect the lives of those around you. The world is watching us daily. Let's not give them an excuse to not want to get to know Jesus.

As I have mentioned in my previous Podcasts about a series I have been planning on doing about Love. Well this is it folks, today marks the first part of this series. I started recording in the beginning of March but after my Mother passed away I had to put it on hold. The amazing part is My Mother displayed many of the characteristics of the Love of Christ during her life as a Mother and Wife.

The purpose of this series is to highlight verses in God's Word about Love and why it is so important for us as Believers to grasp the commandment to Love one another. By learning and living "Love" we will be able to work together, show the World what being a Follower of Jesus Christ is really all about, link arms as the true Body of Christ and turn this world upside down in a mighty way as Luke recorded the Apostles doing in the Book of Acts. It's time to be the real Church and not so divided. The saying United we stand Divided we fall is so profound. Sometimes I feel like the body of Christ as a whole can't even flip a pancake over together let alone try to flip the world right side up. Unity is key Brothers and Sisters, the world see's division as a problem, not a solution. It's time to focus on key verses like John 3:16-17 and 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.

My prayer is that you as the reader, listener and viewer will use this series as a tool to point you in the right direction in order to help be who God called you to be.

John quoted Jesus' words in John 13:34-35 34A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so also you must love one another. 35By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another."

By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another…… what are all men thinking right now when they look at the body of Christ? Do they see love for one another among us or something else? It's time folks its time. Love You All, and my prayer is that these messages will infect You and I as we go out each day to show the world who we really are for God's Kingdom… Please share and look for the voice podcast version as well coming this week.
