Guest: Quentin Tarantino Talks Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, Pulp Fiction Prequel & More

Quentin Tarantino joins Sean O'Connell, Jake Hamilton and Kevin McCarthy for what is hands down our biggest interview yet. We all met up with the director while he was promoting his new movie, Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, and were able to discuss not only his latest film, but dive into some of the other great films of his career. He talks a bit about a Pulp Fiction prequel that was never made, Double V Vega, explains the opening to Pulp Fiction, and we couldn't let him leave without asking him THE Kill Bill debate question.

On this week's show, the guys also dig into some of Sean's experience at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, including Top Gun: Maverick and Terminator: Dark Fate. They react to the trailer for Tom Hank's new movie, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, where he stars as the inimitable Fred Rogers. The Lion King "live-action" remake made a killing at the box-office so we also spend some time weighing in on the audience reaction.

This week, we determined our favorite works from George Clooney #GeorgeClooneyBlend, and next week you can play along as we decide our favorite films from the 1960s by using #60sBlend on Twitter.

Kevin Feige Talks Spider-Man & The Future of Marvel Studios

The King's Man, the upcoming prequel in the Kingsman franchise from Matthew Vaughn, dropped a trailer this week, Sean O'Connell, Jake Hamilton and Kevin McCarthy give their reactions, and set expectation for what looks to be a bit of a departure from the usually gadget-heavy franchise. News of Damien Chazelle's next project, Babylon, surfaced. No, it's apparently not a musical, but Emma Stone and Brad Pitt are circling to star, according to Deadline.

As they look ahead to what's coming at San Diego Comic-Con this week, it's no better time to introduce our special guest, Kevin Feige onto the show. He sat down with Sean at the Spider-Man: Far From Home junket to discuss Spidey's latest outing, and touch on the MCU at large.

This week, we played #AnneHathawayBlend where we discussed our favortie roles and movies from Anne Hathaway. Play along with next week's game #GeorgeClooneyBlend by letting us know your favorite works from George Clooney on Twitter.

"Chernobyl" Creator Craig Mazin on Bringing the Story of a Real-Life Disaster to HBO

Sean, Jake, and (eventually) Kevin are back together, and ready to get into all the latest movies (and some TV) that's made up their week. Dark Phoenix bombed at the box office and Jason Reitman revealed some pretty big details about the direction of his upcoming Ghostbusters movie. We welcome Tye Sheridan back on the show for the rest of our Dark Phoenix discussion not included last week. He dives into some massive spoilers about how the ending of the film was changed, and how the original plot was more closely tied to Captain Marvel (crazy, I know).

Joining us this week for an amazing discussion on his hit limited series, Chernobyl, is creator and writer Craig Mazin. He clues us into some of the amazing work done behind-the-scenes to create a deep and engrossing setting, the small details at play that can have a huge effect on the story's reception, and so much more. Craig was an absolute delight, and clearly put his heart, soul and all his amazing talent into this series. You won't want to miss it, or this interview!
