Episode Eighteen, Clare Wood Nov 23, 2020

Show notes

Dubbed by the media as the Facebook killer, this weeks episode focuses on a trusting young woman who fell victim to a man she met online.

As Justin approached the house in his car, he pulled up and examined Clare’s home. Nothing looked out of the ordinary. Clare’s car was in the drive and the curtains were drawn.

Justin knocked on the door and waited. But when there was no answer, he decided to take a look around the back. As he approached the garden, he noticed that the back door was ajar. He made his way into the house, and called out for Clare but there was no answer. He slowly climbed the stairs and made his way toward the main bedroom. He turned the handle, called out for Clare again, and peered inside… what he found, was chilling.

Episode Seventeen, Rachel, Samantha, and Jazmine Nov 09, 2020

Show notes

This story tells 2 seemingly unrelated crimes...

But some shockingly incompetent police work would show that the murders of 2 young mothers and a child were more closely connected than anyone could ever have imagined.

At around 10:20am, Rachel turned a corner and walked up the path towards a wooded area, leading Alex by his hand. Alex noticed a man following them, not too far behind. He noticed his black bag, his white shirt, his brown hair, and the fact he walked with a slight limp. Suddenly, the man was next to them. He threw Alex to the ground and grabbed Rachel, dragging her off toward the bushes...

Episode Sixteen, Timothy O'Bryan Oct 31, 2020

Show notes

Happy Halloween REDRUM listeners !

Are you ready for a Halloween BONUS?

Trick or Treat?

Both Elizabeth and Timothy were too excited for bed, so Ronald promised that if they got into their pyjamas, and went straight to bed afterwards, then they could have one piece of candy tonight.

Timothy sifted through all of his candy, before settling on his giant pixy styx. He opened it up, and took a huge gulp of sherberty powder, but after swallowing it, noticed it didn't taste very nice. He took a sip of Kool-Aid to help wash it down and ate a little more, but just moments later, he began to vomit. He fell to the floor, and went into convulsions.

Ronald immediately called emergency services when he realised that the safe streets of the friendly Surburban neighbourhood, lit by orange pumpkins and pretend evil ghouls and ghosts, had been infiltrated by a different kind of horror. Something more evil than they could ever have imagined.

Show notes

Happy Halloween REDRUM listeners!

Have you heard of the legend of the Candyman?
If you look into a mirror, and chant the name Candyman 5 times... he will crawl out of your mirror, and kill you.

To kick off HALLOWEEK with a bang, today we tell the story of Ruthie Mae, a 52 year old woman, who, one rainy evening called 911 to report that someone was coming through her bathroom cabinet and into her apartment to kill her.

When police showed up at her apartment, they assumed the call had been some kind of hoax when Ruthie didn't answer the door.

But when no one had heard from Ruthie the following day... or the day after that... The police returned, and made their way into the apartment...

What they found was chilling...

One evening after the family meal, Priscille made sure that all the men were out of the house, before closing the door and walking to take Mick-Sophie's hand.

Priscille had to do what was expected. What was required. An excrutiating act short term, to save her daughter long term.

Mick-Sophie knew this was for her own good and that her mother was only trying to protect her, but she struggled to stifle the screams because of the intense pain. None of this felt right.
