Episode Thirty Six, John Joseph Horgan Aug 29, 2021

Show notes

John agreed, and jumped over the low fence towards the back of the garden. He was followed closely by Lorcan who was carrying a sack, rolled up in one of his hands. Once both boys were over the fence and in the back field they made their way over to a large set of bushes out of sight of the houses from where they’d come from. There was a hole in the ground in front of them, and Lorcan told John to go and look inside. Lorcan then slowly pulled out a wooden club, and silently bent down towards the young boy in front of him... www.patreon.com/REDRUMtruecrime SHOW NOTES: David Malone's book here https://www.abebooks.co.uk/9781845967888/Boy-Attic-Chilling-Real-Life-Story-1845967887/plp https://theheelersdiaries.blogspot.com/2012/04/top-ten-cover-ups-in-ray-darcys-liberal.html https://dialogueireland.wordpress.com/2011/10/19/public-servant-and-pillar-of-the-church-guilty-of-the-nations-most-gruesome-ever-ri…

Episode Thirty Five, Arlis Perry Aug 15, 2021

Show notes

Officers made their way straight to the dorm that Bruce and Arlis shared, and when they arrived, knocked and waited for Bruce to answer the door. Once he did, officers were shocked to see that he was covered with blood. However, when they asked him who’s blood it was, Bruce insisted it was his own. He told the officers that he often got nose bleeds when he was under stress and Arlis being missing was extremely stressful for him.

Episode Thirty Four, Countess Teresa Lubienska Aug 01, 2021

Show notes

This is the story of the countess who survived 2 concentration camps and fought for others right to live, only to be murdered years later whilst living in London. Was it a random attack? A robbery? Or something more politically charged?

As the ambulance wound its way through the crowded London streets, Teresa did indeed come to and tried to speak. Although it was difficult and she sounded as though she was choking, she was able to say to Ron ' I was on the platform- then stabbed...'

Episode Thirty Two, The 7/7 London Bombings Part 2 Jul 04, 2021

Show notes

This is the final part of a two part series on The 7/7 London Bombings.

Many thanks to our guest writer for this episode. He came to me with this episode in mind, because he was there.

All but Anthony had died in the three tube train bombings that happened at 08.49 on the morning of the 7th July 2005 that morning and the rescue effort to save survivors is already underway.

As events develop in the tunnels under London there is one bomber left alive who is still at Kings Cross and he’s having trouble with his bomb. He goes into WH Smith, Stationers on Kings Cross station to buy a nine-volt battery and then rummages around in his rucksack before walking along Euston Road.

Episode Thirty One, The 7/7 London Bombings Part 1 Jun 20, 2021

Show notes

This is the first part of a two part series on The 7/7 London Bombings.

Many thanks to our guest writer for this episode. He came to me with this episode in mind, because he was there.

It is now 7.22am and the four bombers walk towards Luton Town Station, and are caught on CCTV as they inconspicuously pass through the platform barriers and wait on the platform for their train, the 7.24.

They have with them their rucksacks packed with explosives and three day return tickets. Are they somehow planning to plant the explosives and return home later? Or are the return tickets simply so as not to attract attention to themselves?

The train is delayed but eventually it arrives and the men are seen smiling, laughing and generally seem very relaxed as they board it.

Episode Thirty, Artists Who Died For Their Art Jun 06, 2021

Show notes

This episode was available for our $9+ Patreons. This week we are swamped with work so releasing it as a general release episode for all our listeners. This week Russ and Grace talk about artists who have died for their art, their jobs, their passions. Joi was filming the motorcycle stunt for Deadpool 2 in Vancouver Canada. The cameras track her riding out of the open doors of a building, across a concrete pad and down a ramp, before coming to a stop. After a number of successful rehearsal takes, Joi rode the start of the stunt correctly and as planned, before continuing to drive down a second ramp. It's here that she struck the curb, and was then thrown towards, and actually went through, a glass window of a nearby building... Episode Twenty Nine, The Dartmouth College Murders May 23, 2021

Show notes

Half and Susanne Zantop

Half arranged the wooden chair to face inwards, and with a smile, asked how he could help. After a few minutes of chatting, Half turned to get a phone number from his desk.

The person in front of Half waited patiently for him to turn, and at that very moment, silently opened the rucksack sitting on the floor, and pulled out a large, SOG SEAL knife.
