    Real Talk: The Charles Mizrahi Show

    I’m Charles Mizrahi.

    I currently write Alpha Investor — one of America’s fastest-growing investment publications — and have had nearly 40 years of experience as a floor trader, hedge fund manager and money manager on Wall Street.

    In fact, I was once named the No. 1 trader in the nation by Barron’s.

    But the story of my rise through the ranks is about more than just success — it’s about achieving the American Dream.

    You see, I didn’t grow up wealthy. But I did grow up with the belief that America was the greatest nation on earth — a land of freedom and opportunity.

    And right now, I’m on a mission to prove that it still is.
    Although we’re constantly being told by the media that America’s best days are behind her … I know the opposite to be true.

    That’s exactly why I started Real Talk: The Charles Mizrahi Show.

    With this podcast, I want to help you — and as many other Americans as possible — rekindle the American Dream and realize that we, the people, have everything we need to get ourselves back on track.

    Each episode features in-depth conversations with high-profile guests who share their own unique American Dream stories, and their views on the current state of our nation.

    I’ll also share with you my passion for teaching everyday people how to prosper through America’s greatest wealth creator: the stock market.

    Because I believe we all have a patriotic duty to give back to this country — which has done so much for us.

    Dr. Peter Wood is an anthropologist, author and former professor. After receiving his PhD from the University of Rochester, he served as a provost of The King's College in New York City. In addition, he served as associate provost and the president's chief of staff at Boston University. Today, Dr. Wood is the president of the National Association of Scholars. And in 2019, he received the Jeane Kirkpatrick Prize for Academic Freedom.

    Dr. Wood has also authored several books on American culture and traditional values of liberty and equality. These include; Diversity: The Invention of a Concept (2003); A Bee in the Mouth: Anger in America Now (2007); and Diversity Rules (2020).

    Former U.S. Marine Mark Geist was hired as part of a team stationed to protect CIA operatives in Benghazi, Libya. But on September 11, 2012, the six men found themselves in the middle of a terrorist attack which they successfully ended in order to save dozens of American lives. Since the incident — and the injuries he sustained from it — Geist has made it his mission to help other American private security contractors who put their lives on the line for their country.     Lieutenant Colonel Allen West (ret.) came from humble beginnings in Atlanta, Georgia, and worked his way up. At the core of his upbringing and success was family. West is the third generation of military servicemen among four. He received several honors throughout his career, including a Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal and Army Commendation Medal.

    After retiring from the military in 2003, West worked as a defense contractor and adviser until he transitioned into politics. In November 2010, he was elected to Congress and represented Florida's 22nd District. Today, he’s the chairman of the Republican Party of Texas.

    At just 21 years old, Jonathan Gilliam dedicated his life to serving his country. Since then, he's worn many hats.
