    Show notes

When you're on your path towards a goal, one of the biggest struggles you'll face is staying on task and not being distracted by how "far" it seems you're away from the finish line. The domino effect refers to the power of focusing on one step at a time. You don't need to have a crystal clear vision of the end. In fact, if you do, it can make you miss out on opportunities and become impatient in the short term leading to bad decisions. In this episode, we discuss all aspects of this concept.

    Show notes

In this episode, we discuss "the suck." What it's all about, how to embrace/welcome it and utilize it in proper form. Contrary to what most say about welcoming failure. Failure is not the suck and more times than not, how most describe the suck or attempt to use it, is not accurate. Keep an open mind and you'll definitely want to take notes on this one.

38: Quit Reading Start Writing Nov 22, 2019
    Show notes

Today's episode is about creating and maintaining a growth mindset. Now when most of you think growth mindset, you think self-development and reading. We're talking about getting out from behind the pages and writing your own story. This allows you to apply what you've learned in the real world to get your own data. Then, you can attack your growth with a more focused intention. This is only possible once you've applied your self enough to learn where your strengths and weaknesses are. Until you've been able to get your own data in your field, you won't know what parts of your game need the most attention.

37: Serial Quitters and Serial Starters Nov 19, 2019
    Show notes

Today's episode is a top around people (men in particular) that are constantly taking on new "goals", "challenges", or "movements" publicly. Only to fail in silence with no one keeping them accountable or holding them to their word.

It's easy to post a goal and feel good with the immediate support you get from people. It's another thing to keep that going publicly. Most people who take on these new public challenges just end up fading out and quitting on themselves. The problem is that the same guys who tell them "good job" in the beginning and call them "brother" aren't calling them out when the see them quite.

This podcast is to encourage you to stop seeking public recognition for something you haven't even accomplished yet, and to encourage you to hold your "brothers" accountable to the things they said they wanted to do.
