    Quintessential Poetry: Online Radio, YouTube and Zoom

    The mission of the Quintessential Poetry: Online Radio, YouTube and Zoom podcast (QPORYTZ) is to provide a live platform for poets from all backgrounds and locations worldwide to showcase their poetry. This includes emerging, mid-level, and established poets. The podcast conducts conversational interviews with poets delving into the essence of poetry within the realms of the mind, heart, and soul. It also provides a platform for poets to showcase their craft, whether through traditional forms or spoken word poetry.     Dr. Michael Anthony Ingram is a retired university professor, social change activist, and spoken word artist. He taught Counselor Education and Supervision in the College of Education at Oregon State University in Corvallis, OR. He is the host and producer of the Quintessential Poetry Online Radio, YouTube and Zoom podcast (qporytz.com). He is also the Founder and Executive Director of the DC Poetry Project, Inc., in Washington DC. He uses poetry to spread awareness about power, identity, and oppression issues. His international reputation as a spoken word artist and performance poet has earned him the nickname The Counseling Poet. This is based on his background in mental health. Dr. Ingram has traveled extensively, lecturing and conducting workshops on developing cultural competency and empathy skills through the use of poetry. He has also been nominated for a Pushcart Prize for his poetry. His second poetry collection, Metaphorically Screaming is forthcoming. He resides in Washington, DC. RSSVERIFY

    Duane Vorhees and his wife and son moved the population of Farmersville, Ohio over the 1,000 mark when they moved there last year. He returned to his hometown after teaching in Korea and Japan. His book "Love's Autobiography" was published by Hawakal last summer and is available on Amazon. He manages a daily arts zine duanespoetree.blogspot.com, featuring contemporary poets from around the world. The mission of Quintessential Listening: Poetry is to provide a live format for emerging, mid-career and established poets to showcase their work.     BIO: SUSANA H. CASE is the author of seven books of poetry, most recently Dead Shark on the NTrain in 2020 from Broadstone Books. Drugstore Blue (Five Oaks Press) won an IPPY Award in 2019. She is also the author of five chapbooks, two of which won poetry prizes. Her first collection, The Scottish Café, from Slapering Hol Press, was re-released in a dual-language English-Polish version, Kawiarnia Szkocka by Opole University Press. Poems by Case have appeared in Calyx, Catamaran, The Cortland Review, Portland Review, Potomac Review, Rattle, RHINO and many other journals. Case is a Professor and Program Coordinator at the New York Institute of Technology in New York City.

    Dominique Jones is a multi-versed performance artist and mentor who has participated in many reputable performances through theatre, music, poetry, and dance. Recently In his journey as an artist, he has produced music for the stage as well as video and photography work for small businesses. In his poetry, he aims to explore the beauty and dirt of being human. Through his involvement in the community as a teacher, mentor, and artist, he was honored to be named one of the first U.S. Bank Future Leaders in 2018.

    Bio Sylvia Dianne Beverly "Ladi Di" Sylvia Dianne Beverly is an Internationally acclaimed poet, presenting poetry In London, England, at the Lewisham Theater. Ladi Di is a Native Washingtonian. She attended University of District of Columbia, majoring in English. She is author of two books “Forever in Your Eyes” (Poems) and “Cooking Up South “ (Recipes and Poetry). A collection of her work is housed at George Washington University's Gelman Library. She is a member of A Splendid Wake, Gelman Library, George Washington University. Also, she has been featured at Smithsonian's Museum of History, African Arts Museum, Hirshon Museum and other Smithsonians. Ladi Di celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Host Grace Cavalieri, reading on her show "The Poet and the Poem" at the Library of Congress Experience. Ladi Di produces and presented “Males Making A Difference in Our World “. Men sharing their stories on how they have made an impact in their communities. Ladi Di is one of 6 County poets selected to present poetry in Poetry Poster Project. She has presented her poems at various events where 12 framed poems have hung. This includes reading at Maryland House of Delegates in Annapolis. She is one of three poets that accepted an invitation to tour the Woodlawn Plantation. While there, she wrote poems and the poems and poetic messages keep coming. Now “Voices of Woodlawn” is a powerful new presentation that premiered at Create Suitland by 5 poets and should be seeing by everyone. Recently Ladi Di was named “Poet of Excellence” for Prince George’s County by Prince George’s County Arts and Humanities Council, Office of Poet Laureate. Ladi Di is proud Matriarch of her Family.

    Linda Imbler is the author of four poetry collections published at Amazon. Soma Publishing published two of her poetry books and one poetry-short fiction hybrid. She began writing in earnest five years ago. In addition to putting pen and paper to inventive use, Linda is an avid reader. This writer, yoga practitioner, and classical guitar player lives in Wichita, Kansas with her husband, Mike the Luthier, several quite intelligent saltwater fish, and an ever-growing family of gorgeous guitars.
