An unlikely hero saves the day when a historic snowstorm keeps an expedition from returning home. A tale that has been immortalized by those who have a horse to thank for one of the city's key accomplishments. This week Cody travel's to Cedar City, UT and traces the route taken by hundreds of men and women to construct an iconic building needed to further education. A town that has revolved around that building and what it represents for over 100 years.
A few miles away from America's first national park, an event occurred that forever changed a landscape. Creating lakes, shifting mountains and forever altering the lives of those there that night. This week Cody travels to 1959, West Yellowstone, Montana and delves into the stories of those that survived that night. He stands on the overlook and tells of his experience at this mountain range turned memorial.
