    Show notes

    (00:00-26:10) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing last night’s World Series game with the Toronto Blue Jays evening the series up at two games apiece. The IndyStar’s Joel Erickson joins the show to discuss some of the injuries the Colts are dealing with, believes that the secondary is a better group than the pass rush if both are totally healthy, lists a couple of things that the Steelers do well that could provide some issues for the Colts, and credits Chris Ballard for the job he’s done at maintaining one of the best offensive lines in the league.

    (26:10-38:48) – Pacers Head Coach Rick Carlisle joined the Fan Morning Show this morning and discussed adding Mac McClung, if he’s ever dealt with a shortage of healthy players like this before, and the center position. Jake plays what he said this morning and weighs in with his own thoughts.

    (38:48-44:51) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie highlighting all the injuries that the Pacers are dealing with ahead of tonight’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. Plus, they both believe they will see Mac McClung tonight after signing him yesterday.

    (1:30:34-1:55:30) – ESPN’s David Hale joins Jake Query to discuss IU being legitimately the best team in college football. Their conversation starts with what he has seen from Daniel Jones with the Colts compared to when he was with the Giants. David Hale explains why IU is such a dominant team, accesses if Fernando Mendoza should be considered the front runner for the Heisman, believes that LSU is a better job than Penn State, and examines the chances of Notre Dame making the College Football Playoff.

    (00:00-25:38) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing last night’s marathon of a World Series game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays. Jake makes a comparison to what we witnessed last night to the Colts, Hoosiers, and Pacers. Plus, they discuss the Pacers adding Mac McClung officially.

    (00:00-24:15) – Query & Company opens on a Victory Monday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the dominating wins for the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Hoosiers. They touch on another spectacular performance for Jonathan Taylor against the Titans and Jake explains why Daniel Jones should be an MVP frontrunner over Jonathan Taylor. However, he does state that Taylor is the offensive player of the year, right now, in the NFL.

    (24:15-38:49) – Voice of the Indiana Hoosiers, Don Fischer, joins Query & Company and recaps his busy weekend between IU football and basketball. Jake asks him for help with trying to identify what the weakness is with the football team and doesn’t believe the gap is that far between IU and Ohio State. Finally, Jake asks him for his takeaways from yesterday’s exhibition game against Baylor and Don admits that he believes that fans will fall in love with this team.

    (00:00-24:53) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing last night’s double overtime loss for the Indiana Pacers against the Oklahoma City Thunder. They are in agreement that it was encouraging to see the Pacers fight all the way until the last second considering what players were available at the end of the game and whether they should be concerned after one game as to how the three centers looked.

    (24:53-38:30) – Dustin Dopirak from the IndyStar makes his first appearance of the season on the show to recap last night’s double overtime loss for the Pacers. He accesses what the Pacers are going to do at the point guard position with Andrew Nembhard exiting last night’s game early, what he thought on the way the centers performed last night, and how we can already see improvements from Bennedict Mathurin after one game.

    (38:30-43:44) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing the officiating in last night’s game, particularly the friendly whistle that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander gets every single night.
