    Colts Place DeForest Buckner on Injured Reserve + Weekend Sports Preview! Casey Vallier, Brian Neubert, and Kyle Neddenriep Join! Nov 07, 2025
    Show notes

    (00:00-25:28) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing yesterday’s news that DeForest Buckner will be missing Sunday’s game with a neck injury. They chat about who will need to step up and how the Colts performed last season without Buckner before they break the news he was placed on injured reserve and will miss the next four games.

    (25:28-37:41) – Now that we have had some days to process the Sauce Gardner trade and get to know him a little bit, Jake discusses how the Colts won’t have to worry about him being a bad apple like Andrew Bynum with the Pacers a handful of years ago.

    (37:41-45:30) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing last night’s ugly Thursday Night Football game between the Broncos and Raiders.

    (41:59-1:12:54) – Gold and Black’s Brian Neubert joins the show to preview the second non-conference game of the schedule for the Purdue Boilermakers against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies. Brian provides an update on Trey Kaufman-Renn’s status for tonight’s game, believes it’ll benefit Purdue playing some games without Kaufman-Renn, evaluates the first game performances for Jack Benter and Omer Mayer, and preview’s Saturday’s game for Purdue against #1 OSU.

    (1:12:54-1:25:21) – Kyle Neddenriep from The IndyStar joins the program to discuss some of the sectional championship games that he will be monitoring tonight across the state, accesses if Myles McLaughlin has a realistic chance at breaking Derrick Henry’s high school rushing record, and recaps what happened last Friday at the end of the Eastbrook game.

    (1:25:21-1:27:33) – The second hour of Query & Company concludes with Jake and Eddie getting to the David Hasselhoff music finally.

    (1:27:33-1:52:18) – Casey Vallier from the Colts Radio Network makes an appearance on Query & Company to provide what he knows about DeForest Buckner’s neck injury in terms of when he suffered the injury and his timeline to recovery.     (00:00-24:26) – Query & Company opens on a Thursday with Jake Query highlighting the devastating news about former second-round pick for the Dallas Cowboys, Marshawn Kneeland, taking his life late last night. He then shifts to some more thoughts he has had about the Colts acquiring Sauce Gardner two days ago.

    (24:26-38:55) – Tony East from Locked On Pacers and Circle City Spin makes his weekly visit on Query & Company and starts his conversation with Jake as to what went wrong last night for the Pacers against the Brooklyn Nets. He evaluates what he has seen from each of the three centers, accesses if the Pacers need to consider managing Pascal Siakam’s minutes, and guesses what Sauce Gardner had to say about joining the Colts.
