    Purdue is Heading to Phoenix! Brian Neubert and Mike Chappell Join! Apr 01, 2024

    (00:00-27:38) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison celebrating the Purdue Boilermakers making it to the Final Four for the first time since 1980. They break down why Zach Edey draws as many fouls as he does and they dive a little bit into the UConn game against Illinois because it seems like the Huskies and Boilers have been on a collision course.

    (27:38-46:52) – Brian Neubert from GoldAndBlack.com joins the program to recap Purdue’s Elite Eight victory over the Tennessee Volunteers, access when he realized this team was poised to make a Final Four run, states that the moment between Robbie Hummel and Matt Painter after the game will be something he will never forget, shares what’s important to look at in the losses for the Boilermakers, and lists some people that came to mind when seeing Purdue making it to the Final Four that are no longer with us.

    (46:52-49:04) – Hour one concludes with Jake sharing a story that former Colts defensive back Vontae Davis passed away this morning.

    Purdue vs Gonzaga Preview with Brian Cardinal, Randy Bennett, and Steve Lappas! Mar 29, 2024

    (00:00-26:17) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing last night’s NCAA Tournament games that featured Illinois and Alabama moving on. They discuss the job Brad Underwood has done at Illinois. Additionally, Jake shoots down another “hip” phrase that Jimmy used. This leads to the three amigos discussing what terms Jake likes and doesn’t like.

    (26:17-44:18) – College basketball analyst Steve Lappas joins Query & Company from Detroit to break down the rematch between Purdue and Gonzaga tonight. He states that fans will like watching the Zach Edey/Graham Ike and Ryan Nembhard/Braden Smith go at it for forty minutes. He assesses if Purdue can keep up with Gonzaga if the Bulldogs set the pace, explains how Gonzaga is different now compared to their Maui Invitational matchup, and reveals what Purdue will need to do well to win tonight.

    (44:18-45:22) – Hour one concludes with Jake discussing the news of Lou Gossett passing away.

    (26:28-38:32) – The NCAA Tournament picks back up tonight with the Sweet Sixteen. Jake and Jimmy examine the games that are on the schedule today and access how there really isn’t a Cinderella team right now besides North Carolina State.

    (38:32-43:47) – Hour one concludes with Jake and Jimmy previewing a debate that they will get into after their conversation with Tony East.

    (43:47-1:06:08) – Tony East from Forbes Sports, Sports Illustrated, and Locked on Pacers joins Query & Company to recap last night’s blowout loss to the Chicago Bulls. He weighs in on the Tyrese Haliburton three-point shooting debate, addresses how important the game against the Miami Heat a week from Easter, and discusses the experience of the Bulls celebrating Benny the Bull’s birthday last night.

    (1:06:08-1:30:26) – Following their conversation with Tony East, they get into the discussion they teased at the end of the first hour of the show. There were some reports yesterday that the NCAA is attempting to remove player props from sportsbooks for the betterment of the student-athletes. The attempt doesn’t surprise Jake, whereas it does surprise Jimmy.

    (1:30:26-1:52:58) – Purdue Sports Network’s analyst, Bobby Riddell, joins Query & Company for the first time from Purdue’s practice to break down what is different from Gonzaga this time around compared to the first matchup, states that he noticed a different level of focus in Zach Edey in the starting lineups in their first game against Grambling State, and shares which player is the most vocal during practices.
