    Pacers Win & Masters Preview! James Boyd, Scott Agness, and Will Haskett Join! Apr 10, 2024
    Show notes

    (00:00-24:29) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison discussing last night’s Pacers win. They examine the permutations for the Indiana Pacers for them to clinch a playoff spot and not a play-in spot. Additionally, they touch on The Masters starting with Jimmy wearing a golf polo with Donald Duck golfing.

    (24:29-43:56) – James Boyd from The Athletic joins Query & Company to discuss the prospects that the Colts could select in the NFL Draft, weighs in on whether Chris Ballard will select the top corner or Brock Bowers, assesses what led to Julian Blackmon returning to Indianapolis, doesn’t believe that Chris Ballard is driven to prove people wrong by sticking with the same group of players, and reveals that a backup running back could be a position Ballard selects in the draft that could surprise people.

    (43:56-49:14) – Hour one concludes with Jake providing an update on how things went today for the first day of testing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and discusses how talented of a driver Kyle Larson is with him posting the second highest speed of the day.

    Purdue Falls to UConn in Championship Game. Dave Revsine and Stephen Holder Join! Apr 09, 2024

    (00:00-29:43) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query, Jimmy Cook, and producer Eddie Garrison sharing their thoughts on the Purdue Boilermakers losing last night to the UConn Huskies. They dive in on the dominance of Zach Edey this season and again last night. Finally, they applaud the coaching job that Dan Hurley has done the last two seasons.

    (29:43-42:25) – Jake brings us back from break and congratulates all the winners in our numbers game and preview what could be coming during the month of May for the Indy 500. Additionally, Jake and Jimmy discuss last night’s One Shining Moment and the history of it.

    (42:25-47:51) – Hour one concludes with Jake, Jimmy, and Eddie looking at the Indiana Pacers playoff odds with three games left on the schedule.

Jake and Jimmy ask him about the suffocating defense that UConn played to limit Purdue’s three-point shooting, what it would have meant to the Big Ten if Purdue would have won last night, applauds the professionalism and class the Purdue had after the game in the loss, and the tournament struggles for the Big Ten when it comes to actually winning the NCAA Tournament.

They open the show by discussing Purdue playing in the championship game tonight against UConn. Additionally, they touch on the huge win last night for the Indiana Pacers over the Miami Heat to put themselves in position to miss the play-in.

    (16:48-31:55) – Former Purdue Boilermaker Brian Walker joins Query & Company from Arizona to share his emotions about the Boilermakers making the championship game tonight against UConn. Additionally, Brian looks back at the 1980 Purdue Final Four team that he was a member of, breaks down the development of Braden Smith this season, and compares Purdue’s championship run to the start of the Jay Wright Villanova runs.

    (31:55-34:33) – Hour one concludes with Jake and Jimmy being joined by meteorologist Angela Buchman from WTHR discussing the impact the eclipse could have on the weather.
