    Colts Eliminated From Playoff Contention. Mike Chappell Joins! Dec 30, 2024
    Show notes

    (00:00-22:35) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query and Jimmy Cook sharing their thoughts on the Colts playoff hopes ending yesterday at the hands of the New York Giants. They start raising questions about the future of the franchise and discussing how there needs to be changes made this offseason.

    (22:35-37:22) – Leading up to the start of the season, Chris Ballard made a comment about the way he has constructed the roster. Jake and Jimmy revisit that comment and then get into the future of the Colts, and Chris Ballard.

    (37:22-44:50) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Jimmy taking calls from Colts fans that have questions about the future of the Colts and thoughts on Anthony Richardson.

    (44:50-1:15:57) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 joins Query & Company to share his thoughts on how the season effectively ended yesterday against the New York Giants. Chappell also provides his insight on what Jim Irsay’s situation is like right now as the team’s owner, believes that there needs to be dramatic change but doesn’t know what specific changes should be made, and evaluates Jake’s comparison of Zaire Franklin to a 20/25 guy in the NBA.

    Will Anthony Richardson play Sunday? Kevin Bowen, Charlotte Carroll, Dustin Dopirak, and Tom Noie join! Dec 27, 2024
    Show notes

    (00:00-24:48) – Query & Company opens on a Friday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the news that Anthony Richardson is not practicing again today for the Indianapolis Colts. They get into a debate as to whether the Colts should consider resting Anthony Richardson for the final two games if they are eliminated from playoff contention.

    (24:48-36:43) – The South Bend Tribune’s Tom Noie joins the program to preview next week’s game for Notre Dame against Georgia after sharing some final thoughts on the Fighting Irish’s win over Indiana. He admits that he will be banking on Al Golden’s defense being able to win the Sugar Bowl against a backup quarterback and evaluates how Marcus Freeman has improved from year one to year three as a head coach.

    (36:43-45:37) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing last night’s loss for the Indiana Pacers against Oklahoma City. They both question why Tyrese Haliburton appeared to be very disinterested in taking the game over in the final minutes like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

    (1:09:40-1:22:10) – During the conversation with Dustin Dopirak, Shane Steichen provided an update on Anthony Richardson’s status for Sunday’s game against the Giants. Jake and Eddie discuss what Steichen was essentially saying based off his injury designation.

    (1:22:10-1:33:06) – Hour two of the program concludes with Jake discussing his recent soccer fandom and appreciation of people who can actively follow it and be invested in it.

    (26:11-37:21) – While we were off the last two days, Jake went to the movies to go see the Bob Dylan movie. It had Jake wondering what his most famous song was. Jake has Eddie play five songs to see if he recognizes any of them.

    (37:21-48:29) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake letting Eddie present him with some sports scenarios where he has the option to keep the gift or return it.
