    Just six years ago Stacy Raske was at rock bottom. This decorated Iraq war veteran was 100 pounds overweight, suffering from PTSD, war injuries, chronic conditions, depression and anxiety. She self-medicated until she had enough.

    Nick Olsen came from Denmark to Utah to live the American Dream. He found it and enjoys life to the fullest, operating his award-winning personal training facility and working as a certified life and health coach. He has it all with his career, wife and four adorable children.

    When someone meets a vibrant, healthy, and happy person, it’s almost unbelievable to learn of their history that was the complete opposite. In his youth, Nick overcame life’s obstacles, including homelessness, drugs, death, violence, obesity, and abandonment. That laundry list of problems sounds almost insurmountable.

    Adaptability is a key characteristic of leadership, and perfectionism can interfere with one’s ability to adapt. As a leadership coach, Carylynn (Cary) Kemp Larson sees different degrees of perfectionism with all of her clients and knows that if you are a perfectionist, it’s difficult to be satisfied in many areas of your personal or work life or to reach your next goals.

    Cary works with leaders across all organization levels from senior executives to team leads. She has coached in Health and Human Services, pharmaceuticals, science and technology manufacturing. She has extensive experience working with scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs.

    Cary holds a PhD in organizational psychology from George Mason University, and a certificate in leadership coaching from Georgetown. She’s also been an adjunct faculty position that George Mason, George Washington, the US Naval Academy, and American University.
