    On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett, jumps right into the disappointing Mariners season and how they are on the brink of missing the playoffs again. Puck laughs at the idea that they may be eliminated today if the Royals and Tigers win and they would play Friday night on Fan Appreciation Night. Fitting for this organization.


    Puck moves on to talk about how concerned he is with the injury situation with Abe Lucas. If they are brining in 42 year old Jason Peters, they are in trouble.


    Pac-12 is in trouble after UNLV and Air Force announced their intention to stay in the Mountain West, however, the Pac-12 has the best teams from the Mountain West, so don’t worry. Puck explains why he’s not all that concerned.

Puck prods Brad about the team likely being eliminated before they host Fan Appreciation night on Friday and how fans should feel about the team. They also talk about not wanting to trade any of their young pitchers to add bats in the offseason. Does Edgar Martinez want to continue coaching? Brad has his doubts. The wrap up laughing at Catie Criggs, former team president who is now with the Orioles doing a beer bong after Baltimore clinched a playoff spot. Brad and Puck both talk about the worst thing they have ever put into a beer bong.


    Finally, “Hey, What the Puck!?” Puck tells Mariners fans to fan any way they want when it comes to this last homestand.

    On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett and Jim Moore jump right into the disaster that was recording their ‘Old Crimson Podcast on Tuesday afternoon. They said it was the best/worst podcast they have ever done and it’s a must listen and watch.


    They switch gears to the story involving the UNLV QB, who has decided to redshirt this season because he was promised a certain amount of NIL money and it was not met, so despite their 3-0 start, he has decided to sit the rest of the season.     In the latest episode of ‘Old Crimson Podcast, Jason “Puck” Puckett is joined by Paul Sorensen, Jim Moore and a practice report from Jamey Vinnick from Cougfan.com. The title of this weeks episode, “The Fuck You Show.”


    They rave about the Cougars victory over San Jose State and the performance of John Mateer. In between the praise of Mateer, Puck yells at Jim for taking a phone call during the show and Paul for not having his camera working, but karma is a bitch, because Puck’s camera craps out at the end!


    The three get in a heated, but friendly debate over the performance of the defense. Puck and Jim feel the defense is performed poorly and Paul isn’t having any of it and says they are 4-0 and that’s all that matters!


    Puck, Jim and Paul all agree that if they didn’t have Mateer as the teams quarterback, they would probably be 2-2. In the latest realignment news, they touch on the Cougs current situation in the Pac-12 with the reports that UNLV is weighing their options about joining. They all agree that they like this scenario, rather than adding Memphis and Tulane.


    Lastly, they are joined by Jamey Vinnick of Cougfan.com, and Jamey gives his thoughts on the injury situation with the Cougs and a look ahead to their matchup against Boise State.

Julio Rodriguez is finishing the season strong and Puck asks Bill what he could do to get off to a better start at the beginning of the season. Bill reminds Puck that the Mariners still have a shot at the playoffs and tells him not to give up hope. They wrap up their chat with Bill reflecting on his time playing for the Oakland A’s and how much that city and organization meant to him and how sad he is that they are leaving Oakland and that Major League baseball should be ashamed of themselves.
