Therapy Course Claims Trump Is a Cult Leaders, Voters Are His Followers | Pamela Garfield-Jaeger Sep 06, 2025

Show notes

When Pamela Garfield-Jaeger learned a therapist was offering a class characterizing supporters of President Donald Trump as members of a cult, she was compelled to learn more. Using a fake name, Garfield-Jaeger register for the online course and in August, she spent three hours “learning” how a therapists can deal with their Trump supporting clients.

The course, titled “The Impact of Donald Trump on America- A Cultic Studies Perspective,” was led by clinical trauma specialist Jamie Marich, Ph.D. Additionally, Dr. Janja Lalich, a sociologist and cult expert, participated in the instruction. The instructors painted Trump as a cult leader.

The course “instructed therapists to hate their Trump supporting patients,” Garfield-Jaeger wrote in a post on social media after attending the class.

“I was ‘taught’ that if you voted for Trump, you are a part of a ‘cult on a national scale’ that ‘presents an image of bringing the country back to a white majority and white power,’” Garfield-Jaeger added.

Garfield-Jaeger, a social worker and author of multiple books, including “A Practical Response to Gender Distress: Tips and Tools for Families,” joins “Problematic Women” to discuss the ways the field of physiology has been influenced by a political agenda in recent years.

Also on today’s show, Garfield-Jaeger gives her insight into the deadly shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis in which the shooter was discovered to identify as transgender.

Plus, the leftist media promoted a rumor that Trump was dead after the president did not make a public appearance for several days. Where were they during President Joe Biden’s entire administration?

And we also take a little time on this week’s show to celebrate host Morgonn McMichael’s recent wedding, and the anniversary of Elise McCue being cancer free!

Enjoy the show!

How The Left is Losing the Culture, From Tragedy to Taylor Swift | Feat. Isabel Brown Aug 30, 2025

Show notes

The Left and Right’s reactions to the events of this week provide a telling insight into why the Right has a hold of the culture, and the Left, decidedly, does not—from the tragic shooting at a Minneapolis Catholic School to Taylor Swift’s engagement announcement.

On today’s episode of Problematic Women, we begin with the tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minnesota. We share what is currently known about the incident and how some Democrats have chosen to respond, including attempts to minimize prayer and politicize the tragedy.

We also highlight the data showing how President Trump’s recent crime crackdown in Washington, D.C., has led to real results—lower carjackings, fewer robberies, and even nearly two weeks without a homicide.

Speaking of Trump, his marathon three-hour cabinet meeting on Tuesday ran longer than The Godfather. We sat through the entire thing so you don’t have to, and we break down the biggest takeaways, from Trump’s surprising stance on Chinese student visas to his pushback on Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker’s call for “non-violent resistance” to potential National Guard presence in Chicago.

And of course, the biggest pop culture story of the week (and possibly the year) is that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are engaged. Travis’ father, Ed, shared a statement on the two’s “shared values, strong work ethic and future family goals,” begging the question: will Taylor and Travis’ new domestic era inspire a marriage and/or baby boom in America?

Isabel Brown joins as our Problematic Woman of the Week, bringing thoughtful commentary on the issues that matter in politics and pop culture.

Unhinged DC Protester Shows Why Democrats Are Losing Ground | Ft. Reagan Reese, WH Correspondent Aug 23, 2025

Show notes

While D.C. residents are enjoying feeling safe on the streets of their community once again, angry middle class suburban protesters want the National Guard to leave the crime ridden city. When Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth visited the National Guard troops at Union Station this week, protesters used their First Amendment rights to demand things go back to the status quo in the nation's Capital.

On this week’s edition of Problematic Women, we discuss the radical left’s bizarre campaign against the Trump administration's efforts to improve safety in Washington’s D.C.

Also on today’s show, President Donald Trump is working to secure a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia, which might explain why Trump has not made many public appearances since his meeting with European leaders on Monday - he’s business negotiating a peace plan.

And Daily Caller White House Correspondent Reagan Reese joins the show to give us an inside look into Air Force One and the press briefing room of the White House.

Plus, the Travis Kelce photoshoot is … well, we’ll let you decide. All this and more on this week’s show!

Trump Shocks DC Streets While Taylor Swift Shocks the Podcast-sphere | Emily Jashinsky Aug 16, 2025

Show notes

President Donald Trump cracked down on crime in the nation’s capital this week. On Monday, he declared a state of emergency in Washington, D.C., through an executive order, temporarily placing the Metropolitan Police Department under federal control. He also deployed more than 800 National Guard troops, resulting in over 100 arrests so far.

Trump’s move has us wondering: Has it always been this easy to clean up our city?

We break it all down on today’s episode of “Problematic Women," and share some of our own wild encounters with crime in D.C.

This week wasn’t just heavy on politics—it was packed with pop culture wins.

Taylor Swift made her podcast debut on “New Heights,” hosted by NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce, crashing the livestream in the process. One segment in particular has us buzzing about the political implications of the “trad” trend, and if Swift could destigmatize that.

Meanwhile, Demi Lovato surprised fans by joining the Jonas Brothers on tour—an epic Camp Rock reunion. More than that, her appearance exemplified what being clean from the woke-mind virus looks like. Not long ago, she was a short-haired feminist using they/them pronouns and battling addiction. Today, she’s a healthy, happy, straight newlywed—back on stage and performing at her best.

We’re joined by Emily Jashinsky, D.C. correspondent for UnHerd news site, host of “After Party with Emily Jashinsky,” a new podcast from the Megyn Kelly podcast network, and pop culture aficionado. She shares her take on Trump’s crime crackdown and gives her unfiltered thoughts on these big pop culture moments.

Sex Ed, Sydney Sweeney, and the Big Lies Feminism Sells | Feat. March for Life President Aug 02, 2025

Show notes

Culture matters. We see it in the response to the new American Eagle ads featuring actress Sydney Sweeney and the Dunkin' Donuts commercial starring Gavin Casalegno. And we see it in the way Americans think and talk about abortion and having children.

On this week’s edition of “Problematic Women,” March for Life President Jennie Bradley Lichter joins the show to discuss where American sentiment on abortion stands, and how the pro-life movement is effectively working to save the unborn even as chemical abortions have become the most popular form of abortion in the U.S.

Lichter also discusses her work during the first Trump administration and answers the question: can women have it all?

Plus, former Vice President Kamala Harris is coming out with a book on her 107 day presidential campaign. Should be a fun read! We react to the news. All this and more on this week’s edition of “Problematic Women.”

ELITES CAUGHT: Obama Intel Questions, Colbert Canceled, and Coldplay Concert-CEO Fallout Jul 26, 2025

Show notes

We’re witnessing what happens when the mask slips and untouchable elites are exposed.

From the bombshell declassified documents released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard showing that President Barack Obama's intel community had no evidence of Trump-Russian collusion in the 2016 election, to the kiss-cam seen ‘round the world catching Astronomer CEO and his head of HR’s affair, we break down the fallout surrounding elites who tried to play the American people—and got caught—on this week’s episode of “Problematic Women.”

Plus, Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” is cancelled after reportedly losing $40 million last year, but the Left still baselessly cries “fascism” and claims President Donald Trump pressed CBS into the decision.

Be sure to catch all this and more on this week’s episode of “Problematic Women,” featuring Isabel Brown and Morgonn McMichael.

Keeping 'Bananas' Out of Women's Sport Jul 19, 2025

Show notes

Running the Boston Marathon was a dream for Natalie Daniels and doing it six-months postpartum felt like a way for her to celebrate the beauty and power of the female body. That’s why Daniels says she was troubled to learn that the Boston Marathon was now allowing men who identify as women to compete in the women’s category.

Daniels, an avid marathon runner, shared her concerns regarding the Boston Marathon policy on social media and on a podcast with XX-XY Athletics just a few days before the marathon in April. Almost instantly, people Daniels did and did not know began attacking her over her opinion that men should not be allowed to compete in the women’s category. The young mom faced threats, with individuals online encouraging Boston Marathon attendees to throw bottles at Daniels while she ran.

Following the race, Daniels was kicked out of her running club for refusing to state that a man, with enough hormones and treatment, can ever become a woman. Today, she has partnered with XX-XY Athletics, a pro-women athletic apparel company, to stand up for the integrity and protection of women’s sports.

Daniels joins the Problematic Women Podcast to share her story and explain how her faith in God has played a critical role in her running journey.

Also on today’s show, we discuss Gov. Gavin Newsom, D-Calif., appeared on “The Shawn Ryan Show,” and the controversy following Chip and Joanna Gaines decision to feature a same-sex couple in their new TV series. And is “Swag,” Justin Bieber’s new album, a hit or a miss? We give our reactions.

‘Digital Fentanyl,’ Micro-Retirements, and ‘Call Her Daddy’ Fail Jul 12, 2025

Show notes

Smartphones are “digital fentanyl,” says Clare Morell, author of “The Tech Exit: A Practical Guide to Freeing Kids and Teens from Smartphones.”

Studies show that a child’s phone or tablet usage directly affects his or her brain development and “hinders their ability to self-regulate their own emotions, to develop self-control, and impulse control,” Morell says.

Consuming digital content, especially social media, is designed to cause a release of dopamine and causes kids to increasingly live in the “limbic part of their brain, which is their social-reward kind of processing center, and it is leading to the underdevelopment of their prefrontal cortex.”

The prefrontal cortex is the part of the brain that is responsible for self-control, regulating emotions, and critical thinking.

As more knowledge about the effect of social media on the brain becomes known, some families are choosing to ditch smartphones altogether.

have decided to wait to give their children smartphones until they are adults, and to provide a road map for how other families can join the growing trend.

Also on today’s show, we take a moment to remember the lives lost to the flash flooding in Texas. Plus, we discuss Elon Musk’s proposed America Party and a Gen Z trend known as “micro-retirements.”

Americana Summer: The Conservateur’s Jayme Franklin on Trump’s ‘Hot’ America Jul 05, 2025

Show notes

Jayme Franklin was a young college student at UC Berkeley in 2016 and chose to support Donald Trump for president. Following Trump’s election, Franklin quickly became aware of a lack of conservative representation among young conservative women.

Women’s magazines like Vogue and Cosmopolitan peddled leftist talking points and promoted narratives in opposition to traditional values. In response, Franklin founded The Conservateur in 2020.

The Conservateur publication provides thoughtful commentary on political and cultural issues from a conservative perspective, but also promotes classic American values through fashion. Playing on Trump “Make America Great Again Hat,” The Conservateur created its own “Make America Hot Again” hat, famously sported by Lara Trump in 2022.

Franklin joins the “Problematic Women” podcast to discuss conservative trends in America, from Trad wives to classic fashion. Also on today’s show, we discuss Trump’s winning policy streak, from the Big Beautiful Bill to the Alligator Alcatraz illegal alien detention facility in Florida.
