Stay ConnectedWelcome to the Polterguys podcast!
In a podcast of all things spooky, scary, sci-fi and mostly dumb, join the “Polterguys” themselves, Ross and Matty, as they break down the best (and worst) of horror and sci-fi movies and shows ranging from all parts of time and space.
This week Ross & Matty review (possibly) one of the strangest movies ever made, Tusk. Written & Directed by Kevin Smith, it's a pretty meta ep, as the Polterguys find themselves looking into a mirror a bit, as this movie follows a podcaster (Justin Long) on his quest for the ultimate interview for his show, BUT...he gets more than he bargained for.... LOTS of walrus talk here folks. I mean, come on you should expect it.

It's a big one this week folks, as Ross & Matty are joined again by friend-of-the-pod (and possible Black Lodge spirit) Brittani Blevins, to break down one of the most iconic horror movies ever, Scream. They dig into a lot of the history and making of the movie, and chat about how Scream is the Polterguys of movies, when you really think about it. All this & more as Ross' brain & soul continues being devoured by demons, as Matty looks on with his B-H Sauce.

This week, The Polterguys cover 2017's found footage gem(?) "The Monster Project". While the characters in this movie make an effort to find real-life monsters, Ross & Matty continue their inner battle with the monsters within The Black Lodge. With the possessions having made Ross audibly sick, it's nearly a one man show this week.
Grab your cameras, it's time to find some monsters. Or Batman villain Bane. No difference here.

In an attempt to celebrate Shark Week, Ross & Matty are once again joined by the biggest shark-lover they know, Aaron P. Nichols, as he makes his triumphant return into The Lodge. This week, while swimming through the 4th (and worst) JAWS installment, The Polterguys find themselves in murky waters, once again at the mercy of the powers of The Black Lodge...

It's a giggle-fest this week folks. Joined by friend and rat cult leader Natalie Davis, Ross & Matty take the ride into Disney's "The Haunted Mansion". It's a story about Eddie Murphy and his fam going to a spooky house and there's some stuff they gotta do. That's the gist folks, and if you're looking for the details, this isn't the week for that.

Ross & Matty stuck around modern times for another ep this week, talking about 2016's "The Darkness". Another movie where another family brings home another set of evil spirits. You've heard it before, BUT, with a hero like Big Mike in the mix, (and Kevin Bacon) these demons (along with your Polterguys) don't know what they've gotten themselves into.
We apologize for the disturbance at the end of this episode, it is being figured out - The Network.
This week Ross & Matty travel to 1906 CA, and visit the infamous Winchester house in all it's glory. Or, lack there of with this one.
Based off the real-life-events of Sarah Winchester and her mystery house, this tale has NONE of the twists and turns one would expect from a movie about a haunted house full of hundreds of secret rooms!
If you enjoy movies about people walking around a house a lot, with a couple of possible ghosts, then our retelling this week is just for you!

With a couple small interruptions that our new sponsors slipped in, this is nearly a coherent episode all the way through this week!
