A Conversation with Del Water Gap: S. Holden Jaffe Apr 25, 2019

Last month we had the immense pleasure of talking with the incredibly thoughtful and endearing S. Holden Jaffe of the band Del Water Gap as he walks us through some of the tracks off his new record “Don’t Get Dark” which released two weeks ago and honestly, we still can’t get enough. We get to know him a bit more as we chat about his first experience at SXSW in Houston early March, his social experiment, the first song he ever wrote called “Clean and Simple”, and the reality of the loneliness and struggles that sometimes come with being a musician. We recap his latest local tour, dive into some of the stories behind his previous music, and swap some book and band recommendations. Meg almost immediately mis-pronounces his last name after just asking how to pronounce it and says “awesome” about three-thousand times. Which is accurate. Holden is awesome.

A Conversation with Susto: Justin Osborne Mar 02, 2019

The Gang sets the tone right for 2019 with "The Year of Justin". In this episode, we get to sit down with Susto's own Justin Osborne as he walks us through some of the singles off his new record "Ever Since I Lost My Mind" which hit streaming platforms everywhere last Friday (and if you haven't listened to it, you better do it now because you WILL NOT be disappointed). We hear the true (and never before told) tale of how the song "Jah Werx" came to be, Justin's experience in Cuba and how it impacted him as a musician, those rad fucking knuckle tats, and of course, some almost-famous band shout-outs and recommendations (to which will be tagged in any and all social media posts so go check 'em out asap).
