202 – Cobbler Feb 24, 2016

Show notes

We thouroughly enjoyed the second outing of “Better Call Saul’s” second season, “Cobbler”. It had it all, really, and there’s a lot to discuss. We move through Jimmy’s various legal wranglings, ponder his relationship with Chuck and the complex psychology at work, witness the beginning of the end of Jimmy and Kim’s relationship, and worry for the security of her career, if not her life. Oh, and we discuss pie based erotica, you know, if you’re into that sort of thing. This plus a ton

110 – Marco Apr 08, 2015

Show notes

We discuss our changing perceptions of Chuck and Hamlin, Jimmy’s Cicero week o’ scams, pinky rings, and parking lot based changes of heart. Along the way, we consider a ton of great feedback, and towards the end, consider Better Call Saul’s place alongside it’s big brother, Breaking Bad. Perhaps a bit premature, but the fact that we can have an interesting conversation at this point is high praise all by itself, no?

109 – Pimento Apr 01, 2015

Show notes

Jim and A.Ron might sound like a bit of a broken record, but we feel that episode 109, entitled “Pimento”, just might be the BEST. EPISODE. EVER. We knew BCS could do comedy, and the Mike centric Five-O proved it could do drama, but who knew it could blend the two so deftly, or that we’d generate genuine pathos from poor, pathetic Jimmy. We discuss betrayals, unlawful carnal knowledge of swine, our thoughts on Kim, hygenic a-holes, and dare we say it, rethinking our relationship with Hamlin.

108 – RICO Mar 25, 2015

Show notes

This podcast, for episode 108 of Better Call Saul, “RICO”, will be subtitled “the one where A.Ron loses his mind with tinfoil theories regarding Hitler’s rise to power and Japanese immigration law…” Aside from the deep dive into the murky world of reddit-derived speculation, we discuss dumpster diving, legal ethics, our surprise at the relative “goodness” of Jimmy, Chuck’s miraculous recovery (or is it?), St. Sebastian, spiders, tons of feedback, and much, much more.

Show notes

Another solid episode of Better Call Saul, number 107 “Bingo” is in the books! We discuss the hideousness that is the Kettlemans, Jimmy’s noble sacrifice for Kim, MIke’s voracious appetite for apples, and what fake Skymall products Chuck needs to cure his fake illness, and much, much more. All this plus a healthy five apple a day diet of feedback, for your enjoyment!

106 – Five-O Mar 11, 2015

Show notes

Jim and A.Ron were pleasantly surprised by a complete departure of tone and character in episode 106 of Better Call Saul, “Five-O”… We discuss bleach by-passes, struggle to understand tank top undershirts, as we navigate formative moments of the Man Trout’s life in three month increments. Plus, a full featured feedback section fairly bursting at the seams!

Another great episode of Better Call Saul, number 105, “Jello”, er, I mean “Alpine Shepherd Boy”! We discuss filthy toilets, life questioning pedicures, the ethics of committing crazy loved ones, the joys of just watching Jonathan Banks, and much more. All this, including tons of feedback (this week is at least 33% lawyers), ready to bust down your door and tase you into submission.
