Plum Luv Foods Live is geared to chefs, cooks, and people who love food. The show hopes to inspire young cooks and vets alike, with funny stories and amazing people who use food to change lives.
Season three of Plum Luv Foods! had such guests as Kristen Hartley the Executive producer of Food content for Huff Post, Buck Hollywood youtube phenom with over a million subscribers, Beth Schiff head of casting for Food Networks “Chopped” and of course the first ever public interview with Chef Chad Minton, the founder of the culinary Lifestyle brand and global phenomenon TrueCooks. Season four recently ended and had such great guests as New Belgium brewing, David Todd from Espn and capped off the finale with Food Network icon Guy Fieri spending 50 minutes with Chef Plum

Chef Plum and special co-host Dave welcome Matt from Rethink Food to the show to talk about what we as chefs can do about waste and leftover mise en place.
According to Feeding America, there are 42 million people facing hunger in the United States, with 1.4 million being in New York City alone. Astonishingly, research shows about 40% of the food produced in America today goes to waste; this is equivalent to 70 billion tons. Our goal is make sure the wholesome excess food gets to hungry mouths.
Rethink Food NYC Inc is a non-profit organization working to recover nutritious excess food to provide low or no-cost meals to New York City families in need.

On this episode its all about traveling and cooking with the one and only, West Virgina's own "Vagabond Chef" Matt Welsch.
The Vagabond Chef Project is one man, a motorcycle, a passion for travel and learning, and an invitation. MT Welsch has spent half of his life traveling the globe and chronicling his journeys. As the Vagabond Chef his focus is on exploring new techniques in the kitchen, discovering new types of cuisine, and learning. Whether it’s on the back of his motorcycle or driving a knife, Welsch is always pushing his limits and looking to the next horizon.
After 13,000 miles abike, crossing the country five times in nine months, and visiting well over fifty restaurants, the Vagabond Chef Project has entered a new phase. The prodigal chef has returned to his hometown of Wheeling WVa, and will be catering, teaching classes, and hosting special events.
The Vagabond Chef will still be hitting the road to participate in partnerships and pairings, exploring more new kitchens and cooking techniques, and putting down rubber across the blue highways of the country. You never know where he might turn up.
We also talk about the best summer drinks, and how in the world Rose is where its at!

Tonight we chat food and culinary education with Sheree Mooney the co-lead judge from this years Pro Start Nationals. We talk about how the industry is changing with better education for incoming cooks, what we as chef's need to improve on, and we get her take on the "celebrity chef" in the digital age.
We also spend a little time defining some often mis-used terms in the food world with Chef.
Sheree Mooney’s dream started with a toy oven.
She would pull out her Fisher-Price oven, “cook” plastic hot dogs, put them on a plate and serve them to her parents.
That early love of cooking carried the 2008 alumna through The Collins College of Hospitality Management program to the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone to the executive sous chef position at San Francisco’s SPQR, which earned a prestigious Michelin star during her tenure there.
“My favorite thing about being a chef is that first bite someone takes,” she says. “How satisfied someone is is the most amazing part.”
About a year ago, Mooney returned to Cal Poly Pomona to fulfill another dream she has long had – teaching.
