Show notes
Keep or Kut - Chad (@chadyoung) and Pete (@PeteBBaseball) celebrate 150 episodes of Keep or Kut by breaking down 21 starting pitchers in simple terms: buy high or sell high? All 21 pitchers have a better P/IP than they did last year, or debuted this year.
4:17 - Chad chooses a Cleveland starter as his H2H Hero
8:57 - Tyler O’Neill is Pete’s H2H Hero
16:00 - Pete is buying high on Paul Skenes… not a tough call!
18:37 - What about a $40 Yoshinobu Yamamoto? Buy high or sell high?
21:15 - Garrett Crochet broke out this year. He is an obvious buy high at $3.
23:47 - Pete is not convinced Osvaldo Bido is useful going forward. Sell high!
29:04 - Hunter Greene is awesome but he’s hurt. What are we doing with him?
34:44 - Rhett Lowder is only 22 years old! Buy high or sell high?
38:25 - River Ryan is having Tommy John Surgery so he isn’t a sell high or a buy high. He is, sadly, a cut.
39:17 - Pete is buying high on Jack Flaherty, Chad is not quite as convinced buy is also buying.
43:24 - Luis Gil has walk problems but he has had an excellent season. Buy high or sell high?
49:03 - Tanner Houck has changed a lot about who he is as a pitcher.
52:54 - Chad is all in on buying-high on Spencer Schwellenbach
53:42 - Pete likes what he has seen from DJ Herz, Chad is ho-hum on him.
56:00 - Shota Imanaga has had a great rookie season. Is he a buy-high at $18?
58:15 - Ronel Blanco is not that exciting
59:43 - Both the hosts are buying Hunter Brown and Jared Jones
1:02:29 - Brandon Pfaadt is hot off of a miserable start. Pete and Chad are selling high. They are selling on Brady Singer, too.
1:05:41 - Pete is out on Andrew Heaney. Chad is too
1:06:06 - Nick Lodolo, finally someone we can buy on!
1:07:26 - Pete and Chad disagree on what to do with Kumar Rocker
