Ep. 19 - Star Wars: The Force of Love Jan 23, 2020

Show notes

Move aside JJ Johnson, the Perfect Brainstorm Podcast is here to save the Star Wars Universe! Follow along as Jake, Bryan and Houston each individually pitch their own takes on Episodes VII-IX and try to connect them to each other without forfeiting any ideas they originally wrote down. If the title doesn't already give it away, this is probably not the best version of Star Wars you've ever heard....

Ep. 18 Creating a Language Not Quite Like a Leprechaun (Feat. Kekoa Riggin) Jan 19, 2020

Show notes

Special guest Kekoa Riggin from Left on Read podcast gives us fascinating expert advice for developing our very own constructed language.

Then we argue about an obscure 90's Jazz-pop icon for 40 minutes.

Ep. 17 - Some Days, You Just Can't Get Rid of an Idea Jan 09, 2020

Show notes

Welcome to the New Year! We are excited about all that is in store for 2020! We have a big announcement during the podcast that will shape this episode. Don't worry though, if you were really in the mood for a '60s nostalgia fueled Batman anti-terrorist game, then we really have a great episode for you!

Ep. 16 - The Heat is On: A Christmas Musical Dec 22, 2019

Show notes

Happy Holidays everyone! Wherever or whatever you celebrate we hope you are in good cheer as the year closes out. Please indulge us as we do our Holiday Special episode that is very Christmas centric. We believe one of two things: this episode could appeal to everyone or it could appeal to no one. We take the Polar Express right off the rails and pitch a musical (we are still unsure if it's a movie or broadway play or both) that is a sequel to Beverly Hills Cop 3 (not sure if that even is a real movie), The Santa Clause 3, Terminator 6, Waterworld, and the real life political climate. Yes, it is as convaluted as it sounds!

Ep. 15A - The Prakticians Dec 12, 2019

Show notes

Remember that one kid at recess who was too busy reading fantasy books to do anything else? It's going to be really hard to believe Bryan wasn't that kid after listening to this episode. (I swear I wasn't! I'm not even that into fantasy!)

Ep. 14 - Happy St. Vitus Week! #Vibin #Wellness #Holiday Nov 28, 2019

Show notes

In honor of Thanksgiving, the ultimate made-up holiday, we decided to make up our own holiday. It's time we finally made some social impact so we're introducing St. Vitus Week. A week about raising awareness for mental health and dancing non-stop . . . possibly until you die.

Ep. 13 - Freaky Perfy Parakeet Name Generator Nov 21, 2019

Show notes

So we set out to expand our listener demographic by specifically appealing to a fandom to which we do not belong. About half of the episode is us trying to figure out which fandom we can fake our way through. The second half is us creating a surprisingly good name generator that any animatronic animal would be proud of...hopefully.

If you're reading this, go to our Instagram or website and check out the name generator and share it with all of your FNAF buddies!

Ep. 12 - The Batchelor Nov 18, 2019

Show notes

Have you ever wanted to see a DC Universe themed reality show? Well you are in luck with this episode. We put our creative minds to the test as we draft a pitch that we submit to the DC You Pitch contest in hopes of winning a little glory and the chance to produce our own show. We post-poned our Batman Board Game episode since this was related to a time crunch.

Ep. 11 - Star Wars Stories: A Star Wars Story Nov 10, 2019

Show notes

Disney is about to debut its new streaming platform and we're beating them to the punch. This week we develop the inevitable family-friendly sitcom set in the Star Wars universe. It's got lore, it's got humor, it's got Sam Rockwell operating a boom mic for a duck on the planet of Naboo. Enjoy.

Ep. 10 - Lake House 2: Lake Pontchartrain (feat. Joseph Young) Nov 01, 2019

Show notes

While Jake is sick, Ludo superfans Bryan and Joseph drag Houston along for the ride as they cast and plan a movie based on a song by the St. Louis rock legends. This one, honestly...got away from us a bit. I have no idea what's going on by the end of the episode. But it's a great movie starring Penn Badgley, Tom Holland, and Julian Dennison...and several...two Brad Pitts...es.
