In a week filled with zombies dancing to Queen, villagers being killed by their chapels, and aliens having drinks at the bar, Andrew and Apoorva discuss the Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy, a very dry (and very British) series of films helmed by Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost. Oh, and hold onto your hats because Mexican film "Roma" is not only here, but ready to decimate you. You done good, Netflix. Main segment: Three Flavours Cornetto Trilogy
Foreign Film of the Week: "Roma"
As the film awards races begin heating up, Andrew and Apoorva are ready to give their very important opinions on the subject. After railing against various snubs, they try to somehow describe the shocking, surreal French film "Nocturama," a walking controversy about beautiful terrorists holed up in a shopping mall. In an episode of violent delights, Andrew and Apoorva begin by tackling the Coen Bros' new Netflix Original "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs," an absurd (and problematic) anthology set in the Wild West. In what's sure to be their most controversial episode yet, Andrew and Apoorva put on rose-tinted glasses and compare their top five animated Disney films of all time. They leave just enough time to delve into Joel Edgerton's well-meaning, but ultimately misguided new film "Boy Erased," which tackles the horror of gay conversion therapy. LGBTQ+ Film of the Week: "Boy Erased"
It's a dual takeover this week as Andrew and Apoorva talk about their respective viewings of the Step Up movie from hell, "Suspiria," and the not-quite-Tarantino film "Bad Times at the El Royale." They then dicuss "Weekend," the movie that defines the word "indie." Subscribe for free, review us at Apple Podcasts, and follow us on Twitter: @PoTCPodcast.

It's Rachel Weisz week for Andrew and Apoorva as they attend the Twin Cities Film Festival for Yorgos Lanthimos's newest feature, "The Favourite," a movie that is not messing around with its title. Additionally, they discuss the muted, under-the-radar queer film "Disobedience," also starring Rachel Weisz. Subscribe for free, review us at Apple Podcasts, and follow us on Twitter: @PoTCPodcast.

Buckle up; Apoorva finally takes the dive and watches Darren Aronofky's hazard warning of a film, "mother!" with Andrew. When that nightmare ends, they discuss Chinese film "Fleet of Time," which seems to have all the makings of a great love story on paper. Now that the podcast is a whole 25 episodes old, Apoorva and Andrew are ready to talk about the remake of a remake of a remake, "A Star is Born."
