Our brains are incredible organs but sometimes we need to give them new programming. That's what Dr. Andrew Hill does with his patients. He has spent his life and career understanding the brain's patterns and the best way to help undo the unwanted ones.

Using brain mapping along with neurofeedback stimulus, Dr. Hill has helped thousands of people overcome addiction, trauma, and a host of other neurological problems. Everything from experiencing early age trauma to the repercussions of ADHD and OCD has been able to be corrected through his program.

First, he completes a thorough history and checkup. Then you go through the process of brain mapping. The brain map itself is not a diagnostic, but when used while asking deeper questions, several brain patterns can be found.

Epi 17: Lessons Learned Wearing A Continuous Blood Glucose Monitor, What Biohackers Eat, Heavy Metal Detox & More! Yuli Azarch Part 2 May 05, 2020
    Show notes

Yuli Azarch was recently on the show to chat about EMF and how it affects the body, but he's also an amazing biohacker. I wanted to have him back to chat about his views on fueling the body and what he does to stay in peak mental and physical condition.

First off, Yuli did experience a time early on in life when he lost his health. He is very dedicated to studying his body's reactions to various foods and supplements to be sure that he is only ever giving it the very best.

This led him to start wearing a continuous glucose monitor. Along with having a fear of developing diabetes because his brother has it, he also wanted to know exactly how his body reacted to various foods.

It was through that process that he realized he was right about how his body handles carbs. He has now almost completely eliminated carbs from his diet. But that isn't all he's done.

Due to his wife's high heavy metal toxicity and subsequent detox, he is also very conscious of the types of meats and vegetables he eats. Listen in to hear why he doesn't eat much fish and why most nuts no longer fit into his diet either.

So many people still ascribe to the need to eat three meals a day, but Yuli and I both agree that when you're eating super clean and eating the right things for your body specifically, you'll need less food.

Listen in to hear all of Yuri's amazing tips on reducing your heavy metal levels and why you really need to monitor your own body's reactions to certain foods. We are all very different, so hearing how food affects us may be the complete opposite to how it affects you!

    In This Episode:

[02:52] Welcome back Yuli Azarch to dig into biohacking and continuous glucose monitoring.

[04:01] What is a continuous glucose monitor and why would you use it?

[07:02] Yuli shares what he learned about his body by using the monitor.

[10:33] When you eat clean you don't get blood sugar cravings… which means you eat less.

[12:14] Hear what Yuri says about the cause of being "hangry."

[14:46] Eliminating mental fog and increasing your energy is the key to success.

[17:36] It's good to note that everyone is different. Investigate your own body reactions to carbs.

[20:49] Listen as Yuli shares his no-go foods and what he does eat every day.

[26:12] What are Yuli's favorite vegetables?

[29:52] How big of a problem is the intake of heavy metals?

[31:43] Detoxing heavy metals varies based on the level of toxicity.

[33:23] What are the best things that you can do to reduce heavy metals in the body?

[36:03] The supplements you can take to reduce heavy metals are…

[39:59] Your emotions and your thoughts can mean the difference between sickness and health.

[43:35] There is a reason I don't watch a bunch of violent shows and movies.

    Show notes

What do you know about EMF exposure? I've talked about it on the show a few times here and there but I wanted to bring in an expert to share his experience and resources. Yuli Azarch is quickly becoming a go-to resource in the EMF world and his experience is certainly one that I've seen more and more.

Yuli's wife started experiencing a lot of symptoms of various types of toxic exposures. Both Yuli and his wife had heavy metal toxicity and mold toxicity that they were working to detox from, but as they detoxed his wife wasn't getting any better.

They started seeing a doctor who was adamant about reducing EMF exposure and his wife's response was amazing. Her chronic headaches started going away. Body aches were reduced. The more they reduced her exposure the better she felt.

So what is EMF? It is the electromagnetic field that surrounds all electronic devices and the world. This field is increased through the use of cell phone towers, wifi routers, and most all electrical devices.

While the science surrounding our exposure levels is still new, it is very compelling. Yuli shares his experiences and what he's doing to help educate others. Learn what kinds of products you can use to reduce your exposure and what you can be doing today to bring down your exposure today.

    In This Episode:

[02:26] Listen as Yuli shares his wife and his experience with EMF and finding out they were sensitive.

[05:17] They removed the wifi signal from their house and they experienced drastic changes.

[07:56] When they moved to more remote areas his wife's symptoms almost disappeared.

[10:34] How can you reduce your EMF exposure today?

[11:41] What are the easy first steps you can take?

[13:20] You should not use bluetooth headsets. Learn what to use instead.[16:20] Have your wireless router as far from you as possible.

[18:28] Disable the wifi on your computer and have it plugged into your router.

    [19:19] What is dirty electricity?

[22:16] Why you should stay away from Smart Home features.

[25:12] Yuri shares why he is worried about 5G but more concerned about the exposure in your house.

[28:47] How to get started with painting your home to reduce EMF exposure.

[31:05] What kinds of products are Yuri and his wife creating to help combat exposure?

[34:49] A few parting pieces of advice on reducing EMF exposure day to day.

[37:01] Consider a grounding table as well.
