    The creators of Pathways to Family Wellness envision a world of thriving, empowered families who easily connect to inner and outer resources, practitioners and a supportive community needed to create wholeness on all levels of existence.     In this episode we have the privilege of speaking with Dr. Joel 'Gator' Warsh about the controversial subject of vaccine mandates in a fair and balanced way.

    Joel Warsh is a Board-Certified Pediatrician in Los Angeles, California who specializes in Parenting, Wellness and Integrative Medicine. He grew up in Toronto, Canada and completed degrees in Kinesiology, Psychology and Epidemiology and Community Health before earning his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College. He completed his Pediatric Medicine training at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA) and worked in private practice in Beverly Hills before founding his current practice, Integrative Pediatrics and Medicine Studio City, in 2018.

    Dr. Gator has published research in peer-reviewed journals on topics including childhood injuries, obesity and physical activity.

    He has been featured in numerous documentaries, films, summits, podcasts and articles including CBS, Fox, LA Parent, Washington Post, MindBodyGreen, and many others.

    Dr. Joel Gator may be best known for his popular Instagram DrJoelGator where he offers weekly parenting and integrative pediatric support.

    He is a consultant for high-profile brands in the health and wellness space.

    Dr. Gator is married to Sarah Intelligator, an attorney, whose Holistic Divorce and Family Law practice is located in Beverly Hills. For almost 20 years, she has taught yoga throughout Los Angeles. Dr. Joel was given the nickname, Dr. Gator, by his peers after marrying Sarah Intelligator (yes that is her real last name) and the nickname stuck.

    Dr. Gator is an avid athlete, foodie and traveler.

    Optimizing Birth Through Proper Biomechanics and Support Jan 22, 2026

    In this podcast we have the privilege of speaking with Dr. Kristen Hosaka about this important phrase: Birth is rarely about failure, it's often about misalignment, imbalance, and the need for additional support.

    Dr. Kristen Hosaka, DC, CACCP, is a perinatal and pediatric chiropractor, educator, and advocate for physiological birth. A graduate of Parker Chiropractic College (2002, Cum Laude), she has dedicated over two decades to supporting families through her private practice, Turning Point Wellness Center, in the suburbs of Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Hosaka's clinical expertise is rooted in hands-on experience—she spent a decade working in birth centers and has attended over 250 births. Her passion for optimizing maternal and infant health led her to earn the Spinning Babies Aware Practitioner designation in 2017 and become a Dynamic Body Balancing Instructor in 2022. As an instructor for the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), Dr. Hosaka teaches "Adjusting for Birth: Maternal Biomechanics and the Effects of Fetal Positioning," a course that builds on her knowledge of prenatal biomechanics. She has presented at numerous midwifery and chiropractic conferences, including the Spinning Babies Confluence and the ICPA Gathering, where she shares insights on topics such as sacral biomechanics and fetal malposition. A mother of five and grandmother to one, Dr. Hosaka brings both professional and personal wisdom to her work. She is committed to helping pregnant individuals achieve balanced, empowered births and to reducing birth trauma through gentle, empowered care.

She has attained her diplomate in pediatric and prenatal care through the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics and is also an instructor for the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), teaching "Perinatal Care with Webster Technique Certification" to chiropractors across the country.     In this episode we have the honor of speaking with Maryn Green and Jason Leister about their transition away from the matrix and into sovereign parenting, birthing, business, and raising 10 children.

    Maryn Green has been attending women as a midwife since 2009; first as a licensed midwife and now as a spiritual midwife that helps facilitate the ceremonies of birth and mothering for aligned women. Maryn is well known for her international association, the Indie Birth Association (indiebirth.org), which serves and educates women and midwives all over the world. She has written hundreds of blog posts about pregnancy, birth, midwifery as a spiritual process, radical birth and mothering and recorded almost 300 episodes of her podcast, "Taking Back Birth" that encourage women and midwives to rethink what they have been taught, and re-connect with ancient wisdom and the spiritual journey of it all.
