Pastor Joey Svendsen and a community of podcast hosts from all walks, many holding to the Christian faith (some reluctantly), coming together to de-tribe tribalism, defeat hate with love, find common ground with our fellow man and have some fun doing it.  Join us and our guests as we learn more together about God, life and how to come together. Love will win.  Might as well join now.

    Show notes

Joey has a quick chat with Robbie Madison, his friend and co-worker at Seacoast Church. He’s had a lot of experience in the music business and talks about leading worship for the New England Patriots, working and leading a worship team with Toby Morrell (Emery, BadChristian) and how he processes “being so talented but not striking it big” (my words, not his). Lastly, you get to hear his newly recorded song accompanied by the London Philharmonic Orchestra). Go to http://robbiemadison.com to keep up with him and/or support!

92 - Does God Always Want to Heal? Jun 19, 2017
    Show notes

Some folks believe that God always wants to heal. If He does, why aren’t we all healed? Who’s fault is it that we aren’t? If it’s people’s responsibility to pray hard enough but God can heal any time he wants, is He playing games with us? Such a confusing web of thoughts to navigate; unless, God just doesn’t always want to heal. One of our guests isn’t willing to make this concession. Jack and Chip, both regulars on PWNA are friends, work together and are very different in their approaches to the Christian faith, especially in regards to healing.

Author of many books including most recent, “Sin of Certainty” and host of the “Bible for Normal People” podcast, Pete Enns stops by to give the Pastor some answers on Calvinism, Nephilim and why the after-life potentially shouldn’t be seen as major doctrine. For many readers and listeners, Pete Enns' approach to the bible is humble, brings freedom and gives honor to God; while to others, it’s seen as dangerous and heretical. For Pete Enns' books and podcast: https://www.peteenns.com
