So if you’re like me, maybe you’re thinking: this is the year I want to finally dip my big toe into film photography but I don’t know where to start? PERFECT.

On today’s episode, I am interviewing the incredible Summer Grace, photographer, queen of all things film, and creative genius on her approach to one of the hottest topics in the photography industry at the moment: the nostalgic world of film photography.

If you don’t know Summer, Summer is a photographer based out of the Pacific Northwest but travels all over. She specializes in storytelling and editorial work on both digital and film. She loves all things thrifting, art, her fiancé Jake, and her pup, Indigo. As well as the art of photography, Summer Grace has and has always had a big love for entrepreneurship and helping others grow their business as well.

This episode with Summer is basically like a beginners guide or crash course on how to get started integrating film into your photography work. I personally learned so so much from Summer on this episode on how to get started in film, what cameras to start off with, how to offer film add-ons to clients, how to avoid some big costly mistakes, and so much more.

And we even dive into her creative process as a photographer at the very end, because like I said, she’s a creative genius and I couldn’t resist asking.
