THE Boundaries Convo Apr 10, 2026
    Show notes

Blakely and Maia sit down for an honest, sister-style conversation about boundaries—what they are, why God gives them, and how they reflect His design for our lives and relationships.

They talk about how Scripture gives us clear direction before marriage, calling us to flee from sexual immorality and to honor what God has made sacred. This isn’t just about sex, but about guarding our hearts, minds, and bodies from anything that pulls us outside of His design. At the core of it all, they remind us that boundaries are not meant to punish us—but to protect us.

The girls share what this has looked like in their own lives, opening up about past failures, lessons learned, and the ways God has met them with grace. They also walk through practical questions to ask yourself and conversations to have in relationships so you can pursue clarity, honesty, and alignment.

They gently address the weight of shame that can come with this topic, reminding listeners that no matter your past, God’s redemption is always available. But they also speak to the importance of taking sin seriously—recognizing it, surrendering it, and choosing to walk in freedom moving forward.

Ultimately, this episode is a reminder that God’s design is good, His boundaries are loving, and it’s never too late to start walking in obedience. He is not here to punish you—He’s here to protect you, restore you, and lead you into something better.

Hard Launch: Deciding if He's "The One" Apr 03, 2026
    Show notes

Blakely and Maia sit down for an honest, sister-style conversation about the “hard launch” moment in dating—is he actually the one?

They share what this looked like for both of them and unpack what it can look like to process this question with intention, reminding you that the timeline can look different for everyone. They also talk through how this stage can sometimes bring you to the hard but honest realization that he may not be the one.

The girls gently dive into the tension of wondering whether a lack of peace is about the person, or if it’s coming from fear—like fear of commitment, vulnerability, or past hurt.

They share the importance of slowing down, noticing what keeps coming up, and inviting in wise counsel—people who know you well and can help you process with clarity and truth.

Ultimately, this episode is a reminder that you don’t have to rush the answer. You’re allowed to take your time, ask honest questions, and invite the Lord into the process—trusting Him to give you the discernment you need and lead you to people that will help!

Soft Launch: Intro Into Dating Mar 27, 2026
    Show notes

Blakely and Maia sit down for a fun, honest, and sister-style conversation about the beginning stages of dating aka the ‘soft launch’ stage.

The girls dive into what it actually looks like to start dating with intention—without overcomplicating it or sucking the joy out of it. From those early stages of figuring out if you even like someone, to discerning whether it’s worth continuing, they unpack the balance between wisdom and just letting things unfold.

They talk through practical green flags to look for, red flags to be aware of, and how to stay grounded in your values while still enjoying the process. But the conversation doesn’t just focus on the other person—they also turn the lens inward, encouraging you to assess yourself too: Are you dating with clarity? Are you inviting God into the process?

With a strong emphasis on building Godly relationships and dating intentionally, Maia and Blakely remind listeners that dating doesn’t have to feel heavy or pressure-filled. It can be thoughtful and fun. You can ask meaningful questions, grow in self-awareness, and still laugh, and enjoy the experience.

Whether you’re brand new to dating or just trying to approach it in a healthier way, this is your invitation to step in with both intention and joy.

I’m *still* Single AND Thriving Mar 19, 2026
    Show notes

Maia sits down with her best friend Isla- who some may remember from the In This Together podcast- for a candid, fun, and encouraging conversation about singleness at 27.

Filled with lots of laughs and real moments, Isla opens up about grieving the expectations she once had for her life, the tension of waiting, and what it looks like to surrender those desires to God daily. She shares how singleness hasn’t always been easy, but how the Lord has been gently reshaping her perspective along the way.

Isla is a beautiful example of what it looks like to hold both joy and sadness at the same time—learning you can fully enjoy the season you’re in while still carrying unmet desires and longings.

As she continues to trust God with her future, she’s learning to dream with Him, pursue the life in front of her, and not wait on a relationship to start fully living. Instead of holding back, she’s choosing to step into joy, purpose, and freedom right where she is.

This episode is equal parts honest and lighthearted—full of encouragement, truth, and plenty of laughter for anyone navigating singleness and learning to trust God with their story. Follow us on @overflow.thepodcast for more updates on our relationship series!

Singleness: What God Taught Her in 40 Years of Waiting Mar 13, 2026
    Show notes

In today’s episode, Blakely sits down with dear friend and role model Holly Scurry Todd for a powerful and deeply honest conversation about singleness, waiting on God, and learning to surrender your timeline.

Holly shares what it was really like walking through 40 years of singleness—the hopes, the disappointments, the moments of trusting God, and the times she admits she tried to take matters into her own hands. Like many of us, her journey included seasons of questioning, wrestling, and wondering what God was doing in the waiting.

But as Holly looks back now, she sees that those years were far from wasted.

During that season, God was shaping her heart, deepening her dependence on Him, and using her life in extraordinary ways. Instead of sitting on the sidelines, Holly stepped into the calling God placed in front of her—helping launch ministries that are now impacting families across the world, rescuing people from slavery, and mentoring the next generation of leaders.

Together, Blakely and Holly talk about how to be present in singleness, how to trust God when your story looks different than you expected, and what it means to let God “romance your heart” in a way that ultimately satisfies deeper than any relationship could.

This conversation is honest, encouraging, and full of wisdom for anyone walking through a season of singleness, waiting, or learning to trust God more fully with their future.

More than anything, this episode is a reminder that God is always working in the waiting—and He wastes nothing.

What We've Learned: Single, Dating, Engaged, Married Mar 06, 2026
    Show notes

In today’s episode, Blakely and Maia open the door to a brand-new series on the podcast: Relationships.

Before inviting guests and diving into specific topics, they begin by sharing their own stories—what they’ve learned through the different seasons of relationships they’ve personally walked through: singleness, dating, engagement, marriage, and yes… even the confusing world of situationships.

This conversation is honest, reflective, and rooted in the belief that God teaches us something (a lot of things) in every season the beauty and the challenges of waiting, the growth that comes through dating with intention, the refinement that happens in engagement, and fighting for unity in marriage.

They also speak openly about the in-between spaces many people find themselves in—when relationships feel undefined, complicated, or uncertain—and how God can still use those moments to shape our identity, boundaries, and understanding of love.

More than anything, this conversation is meant to feel like sitting down with friends who are learning alongside you.

Seeing God Through Pottery + Beginner Tips! Feb 26, 2026
    Show notes

In today’s episode, Blakely and Maia head to Georgia to film inside Pure Grace with faith-based potter Catherine Shope. Sitting beside the wheel, they watch her shape clay while talking about the deeper ways God has shaped her.

At the center of this conversation is the image of trusting the hands of the Potter. Catherine shares how molding, refining, and firing in the kiln mirrors the Christian life. The pressure, the reshaping, the heat—none of it is comfortable, but all of it has purpose. Just like clay, we are formed intentionally. Nothing is wasted.

She also offers practical encouragement for anyone wanting to try pottery (or any new hobby): don’t give up, and be okay making mistakes. Pieces will collapse. Things won’t turn out how you planned. But growth happens through patience, practice, and perseverance.

We’re passionate about helping you step away from scrolling and into hobbies that draw you closer to the Lord. Whether pottery becomes your thing or not, we hope this episode inspires you to trust the process and the hands that are shaping you.

Our custom Travel Mugs with Pure Grace will be available in March—we can’t wait for you to see them!

    Grief & Grace: Maia’s Miscarriage Story Feb 19, 2026
    Show notes

In today’s episode, Maia shares her miscarriage story — from finding out she was pregnant, to the long in-between of uncertain test results, to walking through a natural miscarriage that eventually led to medication and, ultimately, a D&C. She invites listeners into the emotional, physical, and spiritual layers of each stage, speaking honestly about the waiting, the unknown, and the decisions that had to be made along the way.

This conversation holds space for the reality that miscarriage is rarely a straight line. Grief can shift from hope to heartbreak quickly, and navigating medical options while processing loss can feel overwhelming and isolating. Maia reflects on the importance of giving yourself grace in the middle of it — grace for the emotions, the questions, the anxiety, and everything in between.

At the heart of this episode is Maia’s desire to help other women feel less alone and better equipped to handle their grief in their own journeys. She shares why advocating for yourself medically matters, but also why learning how to love people well in their loss matters. Maia speaks candidly about what helped, what hurt, and how we can be more thoughtful and intentional with our words when someone is grieving.

Most importantly, she talks about bringing God into grief — not bypassing it or rushing healing, but allowing sorrow and hope to coexist. She reminds listeners that God is not distant in our pain; He is present in it. Maia reflects on how healing in community and walking with a Christian counselor played a significant role in her process, reminding us that the words we speak, the people we invite in, and the presence of God all shape how we heal.

As always, this episode is meant to encourage and inform — not provide medical advice — and to remind you that if you’re walking through loss, you are not alone.

The Wellness Series Recap: SparkNotes Edition Feb 05, 2026
    Show notes

In today’s episode, Blakely and Maia come together—filming from afar—for a laid-back, honest wrap-up of the Health & Wellness Series. Think of this episode as the SparkNotes version: a casual debrief on what they’ve learned, unlearned, and are taking with them moving forward.

Together (yet apart), they revisit conversations around eating and nutrition, disordered eating, fitness, and falling back in love with movement—sharing what stuck, what surprised them, and what genuinely shifted their perspectives. Instead of chasing trends or perfection, this conversation centers on approaching wellness with grace, curiosity, and sustainability.

At the heart of the episode is the idea of bringing your health to God—inviting faith into everyday decisions around food, movement, and body image. Blakely and Maia talk openly about redefining what “healthy” even means and seeing wellness less as a fix-it project and more as an ongoing act of stewardship.

This episode isn’t about rules, routines, or resolutions. It’s about integration—taking the lessons from the series and applying them to real life in a way that feels honest, doable, and life-giving. Whether you’ve listened to every episode or are just jumping in here, this recap is an invitation to reflect, reset, and move forward with a more holistic, faith-rooted perspective!

As always, this conversation is meant to encourage and inform—not offer medical advice—and to remind you that your health journey is allowed to be slow, personal, and full of grace.

A Foundational & Simple Health Habit: Colostrum Jan 30, 2026
    Show notes

In today’s episode, Blakely and Maia sit down with Erica, the founder of WonderCow, for a grounding and hope-filled conversation about gut health, faith, and one foundational yet simple health habit: colostrum.

Erica shares the deeply personal story that led her family—7th-generation, family-owned, USA-operated dairy farmers—to start WonderCow. What began as a search for answers to help their daughter, who struggled with poor gut health and frequent illness, became an unexpected journey into the power of colostrum as a foundational superfood.

Together, they dive into Colostrum 101, breaking down what colostrum is, how it differs from regular dairy, and why supporting the gut is a pillar of overall health, not a trend. Erica explains how gut health plays a critical role in the gut–brain connection, immunity, and whole-body wellness for both kids and adults—making colostrum an easy, daily habit for busy families.

The conversation also explores faith and stewardship, as Erica shares how her relationship with God influences the way her family approaches farming, animal care, and business practices.

This episode is meant to be an invitation—not medical advice—into stewarding your health with wisdom and faith.
