58. Dead on the Water Oct 02, 2019

Show notes

Craig Alaska is a beautiful fishing town on the coast of Alaska located about 1000 miles south of Anchorage. The final fishing weekend has come to a close. The docks are full of the people turning in their last big catch so on September 5, 1982 when a fancy fishing boat named The Investor comes to the docks, it catches a lot of attention. It was not your ordinary working boat. It was a 58 foot fishing vessel with all the bells and whistles that would have cost over $800,000. It stood out among all the others. The following morning, people noticed the boat was not docked but floating aimlessly out at sea. What would happen next would shock onlookers and create more questions than answers … some of those questions remain unanswered to this day. 56. Carnage in the Canary Islands Sep 18, 2019

Show notes

Listen in for a glimpse of what a Patreon episode is like!
The Alexanders were not your normal family. In 1940s, Harald Alexander dove deep into the German religious sect of the Lorber Society.
This sect deemed everyone outside the religion was "dirty" so the family slipped away from society, keeping only to themselves.
When his son Frank was born in 1954, Harald claimed he was the Messiah or Prophet of God. Everyone in the family gave into each and every one of Frank's desires.
Rumors started circulating in Hamberg about the Alexanders and the police started coming to their house. This prompted Harald to pack up the family and move to 37 Jesús Nazareno in the town of Santa Cruz on Tenerife.
Soon the Alexanders would be apart of a blood bath that would be known as the mosst horrific crime to occur on Tenerife.

55. Bad Blood Sep 04, 2019

Show notes

Science has come a long way and has allowed humans to discover new diseases as well as cures for these diseases. Often it has often been, shall we say, not so forthcoming with what or how it practiced but even worse, it lied. It lied to those who had already suffered so much in American History. This is the story of how ignorance and blatant racism affected an unknown amount of people all without them even realizing they were being used a medical guinea pigs who would pay with their life.

54. Jack The Stripper Aug 28, 2019

Show notes

When someone says Whitechapel, London and 1880’s, most people know they are referring to none other than Jack the Ripper. Jack was one of the first serial killers to terrorize with no reason and to this day remains unsolved--although many think they know who it is, it has yet to be proven. His killings have been covered with countless books and movies and have lead to more than a few copycat killings but perhaps the biggest one is one you may have never heard about. This brutal murderer killed more victims than his famous namesake. He was known as Jack the Stripper and the murders would be known as the Hammersmith Nude Murders.
Join Jen and Cam on this episode of Our True Crime Podcast as we discuss “Jack the Stripper.” As always our listner discretion is brought to you from the amazing Edward from @octoberpodVHS.
