Do I have the courage to explore and delve into these hidden unknown experiences that lure me?
If I go there, I may discover things that change me, that give me a different, deeper outlook about my life. Am I prepared to do that?
What about my fears? I do not want to find out something that I would not like. Should I listen to my fears?
What if it is all stuff that I make up?

Reincarnation is a subject that has fascinated me from the time I first became familiar with it as a teenager.
I was born in Australia and spent my years growing up in the country town of Bathurst in NSW and then my teenage years in the desert city of Broken Hill. From a young age, I was very interested in religion, and although I was brought up as a Church of England Christian, I could never quite feel at ease with that as my faith.
Then, when I was 18, having moved to Sydney, I was listening to the radio one Sunday night when I heard a broadcast by the Theosophical Society. For the first time, I heard comprehensive accounts about the concepts of reincarnation, karma and the evolution of the soul, and at once this felt like ‘coming home’ and was the beginning of a life-long dedication to this subject.
From my teenage years, I was interested in alternative views of society, and as I moved into my 20s, I learnt meditation, started exploring self-development workshops and became fascinated by the New Age Spiritual community in Scotland called the Findhorn Foundation. In the north of NSW, there was an offshoot community connected to Findhorn, called ‘Homeland’ and I became inspired by the ideals of people living from their hearts, attuning to the ‘God’ within and building a world where this would be the norm. When I was 24, I left Australia to stay at Findhorn. I then travelled through Europe, but eventually returned to Findhorn to live at NewBold House. Here I learnt to lead personal development workshops and my interest in the mind and our souls increased.
From my wish to go deeper into this, I trained in Hypnotherapy to learn past life regression and in 1988, I became a qualified Hypnotherapist. Having left NewBold House, I then set out to earn my living as a self-employed therapist, leading workshops and conducting individual therapy sessions with people. In the 1990s I trained with Dr Roger Woolger for 3 years, and became inspired by his teachings on Past Life Therapy. I also formed a healing group with Marjorie Wilson and learnt about Spiritual Channelling and Healing.
From there, I wrote books, and until now, have had 8 of my books published. In recent times, I have studied the works of Dr Michael Newton and completed my training with the Newton Institute to become a qualified Life Between Lives Therapist. In recent years, I have been travelling internationally to a variety of locations, mainly between Australia and the UK. I have been attending Mind Body Spirit festivals giving talks and offering introductory experiences of Past Life regressions. In addition to these festivals, I have been offering soul based workshops for groups, and facilitating individual sessions. I am now in the process of setting up a working partnership called ‘Soul Pathways’, with my colleague, Dee Gutierrez. Our aims are to provide widespread services to help people awaken to who they are as souls.

Have you ever experienced any unusual things? Maybe you call them miracles or unexplained mysteries, or things people do not talk about? My life has been a series of mysteries. Some of them were so unusual that I didn't have any reference points to compare them. I kept those experiences in the back of my consciousness like a book I put back on the shelf to later pick up again.
To name here a few, who applied the brakes on my bike and prevented me from being hit by a sports car at age 11? Why am I just now getting more clarity about those moments of contact with extraterrestrials or inter-dimensional beings as a child, and why wouldn't my parents acknowledge my experiences? Why do some diseased people and animals I know come to me with messages? Why did my head turn to the left by itself just in time to see a spacecraft shoot into a 90-degree angle and disappear?
Everyone has their own unique experiences and life lessons learned. When I share what I have lived, it might inspire others to share their own stories or realize that it is possible and OK to talk about them.
Bio
Mieke Benton was born in 1970 in the city of Gent, Belgium. From a very young age, she had extraordinary experiences that others didn’t seem to talk or know about. Questions such as who am I and why am I here guided her on the path of alternative healing, geomancy, UFO investigations, inter-dimensional realities, consciousness expansion, mind control, universal awareness, and more. At age 27, through Divine intervention, she met Paul and his then three young children in an international alternative healing retreat in Breitenbush Hotsprings, Oregon. The many unexpected synchronicities did not make any logical sense to them, being from two different cultures and two different generations. Finally, they

Although death happens to everyone eventually, we know little about the process and the only way that we can get answers is to talk to someone who is already there. Through channelled mediumship communication with a spirit called Battrick, this book attempts to answer some of those questions. The spirit world wants us to know that the essence of who we are does not die with our physical body. We are all spiritual beings having an earthly experience and the energy that is ‘us’ cannot be destroyed; this life is not all there is.

Julie Ann Tyso felt a connection with the spirit world from early childhood and knew instinctively that we are more than our physical bodies and that there was a spirit body within. She was always searching for answers: what happens when we die? What does the afterlife look like? Are we reborn? It took her a while to accept that she could remember past lives and that what she was seeing and hearing was in fact spiritual beings attempting to communicate with her and answer some of her questions.
Julie spent over 20 years working as an academic in a UK university and in such an evidence-based environment, it is not easy to tell colleagues that you are a medium. However, learning about the spirit world has been a lifelong passion and just the right teachers, books or experiences seemed to appear, as if by magic, to enhance that learning. Eventually the opportunity arose to leave traditional academia behind and see where the spirit world would take her.
The idea to channel a book directly from spirit came quite suddenly. She woke up one morning and felt compelled to sit at a computer and write. The speed at which the answers came helped to convince her that they were not coming from her subconscious but were being channelled from a spirit called Battrick. Through a question-and-answer session that took place over several months, Julie’s first book, “Answers from the Other Side”, was born.

In fact, our civilization seems to be regularly influenced by such nonhuman intelligences, even if we’re not always aware of it.
