Post-Game Podcast: Sooners with 12th straight and are 4-0, BUT this game is turned into "fans" vs Rattler due to uncalled for chant| 2021 OU knows how to win the close one, but MAJOR flaws on Sooners offense continue| OL was bad!| Defense is best it's been in years| Our top 4 in Big 12 & Top 5 in nation| Recruiting| MORE
00:00 - Intro with Sooners starting off 4-0, but MAJOR offensive flaws continue to be an issue.
02:00 - Brandon and Parker discuss the "We want Caleb" chants and boos that were echoed down onto Owen Field Saturday night. The duo disagrees with fans sentiment and deems it uncalled for to chant the name of the backup QB, but also say boos are different than a chant specifically calling for the backup by name. Bad look on national TV and for Sooners recruiting.
17:00 - Brandon states that it is probably a good deal that OU isn't playing at home for a bit. Pressure on him after the WVU game in Norman is high. Alums like Kenneth Murray coming to Rattler's defense. He is more loved than fans think.
19:45 - Recruiting impact of fans chanting and boos?
22:00 - Positives? How about a DOMINANT defensive performance from Alex Grinch's Speed'D' and only allowing 226 TOTAL YARDS from West Virginia and 160-yards passing from WVU QB Seth Doege. Is it time for Sooners fans to give it up to the Sooners' defense?
28:15 - Would you rather the defense be the reason OU is 4-0 or the offense be the reason if you had to pick one? Brandon and Parker both say defense due to the confidence they have in Lincoln Riley and Spencer Rattler to figure it out and get it going this season.
30:30 - Lincoln Riley audio on what his initial thoughts on the game were and obviously the fan chants, defense, where he feels they are as a team heading into the first road game at KSU. Parker and Brandon discuss Riley's thoughts. Parker also talks about how the 2020 version of Oklahoma loses this game and likely the Nebraska game, too. Says other teams might have lost and did so in similar circumstances.
38:00 - Weirdness of college football in 2021.
43:00 - Brandon and Parker name their top 4 teams in Big 12 and Top 5 teams in CFB after four weeks. Brandon also reiterates what he has said from week one, and that is the fact he has felt the WVU, Kansas State, and Texas games were the most important stretch of the OU schedule.
1:05:00 - More weirdness of CFB in 2021 talk. Twilight zone type stuff is going on! Brandon says 2021 CFB "is off its damn rocker."
1:07:00 - Brandon calls the Sooners OL "a cesspool right now." The duo discusses the Oklahoma offensive line play. Spencer Rattler isn't the main issue and they deem OL the root of the problem right now. Parker puts a stat out that is shocking from the game. Andrew Raym is a bright spot. As is Chris Murray most of the time. What has happened to Anton Harrison? Will Wayna Morris get more PT after Saturday night?
1:28:00 - Recruiting talk. Big-time visitors with five-stars on officials and unofficials. How big will October be for Oklahoma on recruiting trail? Closeout of the podcast.
