Can Chronically Disorganized People Benefit From Virtual Organizing Sessions? With Alison Lush, CPO-CD®, CPO® Feb 02, 2021
    Show notes

Chronic disorganization affects many people, whether it's due to hoarding, aging, or ADHD. In this episode, Naeemah chats with Alison Lush, CPO-CD®, CPO®, she talks about how virtual organizing has benefited her clients during the pandemic, and her newly found TikTok stardom!

13 years ago, Alison was struggling with her own stuff. Buying too much, bringing too much home, lacking the skills to make decisions to let things go. It was crowded, it was cluttered… and she did NOT want people dropping by! Alison has always had talent and ability for organizing, but there was so much more involved in managing her belongings than organizing! There were a number of other skills she needed to develop to better manage her home and be comfortable.

Alison had a very successful 20-year career in catering, and wanted a change. In 2010, her best friend recommended she go into organizing. She spent the first 5 years studying, developing her business, working with clients, and most importantly, working on her own life. Today her home is entirely different. She's learned to live intentionally and no longer shops as a hobby. She's worked hard to create space in her home, and she protects it.

Alison Lush is a Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization and the past-president of ICD (Institute for Challenging Disorganization). She is an ICD Master Trainer and has held several volunteer positions. She is a member of Professional Organizers in Canada and NAPO as well.

At Home With Nikki Featuring Nikki Boyd Nov 24, 2020
