A 24th lawsuit was filed against Deshaun Watson on Monday and on Tuesday, while we were recording, New York Times reporter Jenny Vrentas dropped a story reporting Watson received massages from 66 women over a 17-month span.

Mary Kay Cabot, Scott Patsko, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe discussed the Watson situation in the second half of our Wednesday podcast, including whether Watson could get a full season suspension.

Deshaun Watson impresses at Browns OTAs and more observations May 27, 2022

The Browns began OTAs this week at the team's practice facility in Berea. Attendance was strong this week as they begin to build their offense around new quarterback Deshaun Watson and build on the defense's strong finish a year ago.

Wednesday marked the first of three practices open to the media, meaning we got to see the entire practice and hear from players and head coach Kevin Stefanski after practice.

On Friday's Orange and Brown Talk Podcast, Mary Kay Cabot, Scott Patsko, Ashley Bastock and Dan Labbe discussed what they took away from the practice, from Watson's performance to who lined up where on the depth chart.

Mary Kay Cabot talks about the football side of things and Paul Hoynes talks about the baseball side of things with Doug Lesmerises as they look at the investigations into, and suspension decisions around, Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson and former Guardians pitcher Trevor Bauer, who is now on the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Both face multiple sexual misconduct allegations with no criminal charges.

Watson's investigation by the NFL is drawing to a close and a suspension could come soon.

Bauer has been suspended for two years by Major League Baseball and is in the midst of appealing.

How are the league's processes similar and different? Are the structures in place sensible? And does the decision on Bauer tell us anything about what might happen with Watson?
