One World in a New World with Limor Bergman - Mentor, Executive Coach

Limor is a woman in leadership in the tech industry, with a strong background in diversity and inclusion in her field. She admits that she was a rather obedient girl growing up, just wanting to be accepted by others her age. She also speaks to the beginning of her quest to connect deeper with life in her mid-40s.

Questioning where she was at in her professional career, she shares her journey of discovery. You'll find it heart-warming and perhaps similar to your own. Making a living just wasn't good enough. She relates that 'coincidentally' she was approached to mentor engineering managers, which offered only experience with no pay at the time.

Mentorship took her to a new level, with feedback offering that she was really good at it. Eventually she made a career out of it, moving out of her Director of Engineering position. What would it be like to be a Director of Engineering in such a male-dominated field. You'll find her journey so synchronistic, beyond her awareness at the time.

Given the skillset, passion and ability to perform, when faced with an open door of possibility, what would you do? Limor cites having a few good ears is certainly helpful. The emerging direction she shares offers a tremendous amount of insight. The discussion moves to the challenge of balancing the internal and external worlds. You'll love it.

How do you combine or integrate your passions, skillset and purpose for life and work? Limor's process and cohesion in her expression will take you through some wonderful twists and turns. The many steps to success offer trials, tribulations and much learning.

How is your experience in making decisions to impact your future? What are the feelings and thoughts the flow in the process? Are you able to acknowledge both in your journey? Is it rich in content or a little disconnected? How do you access flow? Listen in to how Limor discovered and recognized how to create it and embody it. It might work for you, too.

We invite you to enjoy this conversation and its capacity to expand your awareness and perhaps your willingness to take a few new risks to explore your possibilities. The conversation is so insightful throughout and gets quite deep as it evolves into talking about catching signals.

    Thanks for being here.

One World in a New World with Otto Gatternigg - Founder, Foundation for Humanity

Curiosity leads us to new knowledge. For Otto, professionally, it took him from Vienna an banking to woodworking and interior design, to Cambodia and creating a non-profit.

Otto was a highly sensitive child, remembering being able to perceive the authenticity/energy of people he met with his parents during their walks on the streets in Austria. He says his grandmother was instrumental in helping him learn how to use his sensitivity.

He shares that this gift isn't really welcome in most places and with most people. Would you agree? Perhaps listening in to the conversation would be helpful. He reflects that when you are young, you take rejection personally, though it really isn't about you.

Otto's reflections are priceless for personal growth and understanding. His commitment to his inner voice and direction shines in reflecting on navigating life's offerings.

How have you come out of the pandemic? What difference have you noticed in the way you navigate life? Zen outlines a shift in ages and the possible experience available. What kind of effect might this epochal shift have in our experience? What's available to view?

Otto frames it as 'moving toward the light' as human beings. The pandemic was a wake up call for humanity to examine its condition and adjust accordingly toward greater harmony. Life, in his opinion, is presenting us with the opportunity to shift our activity collectively, looking for new solutions.

Otto testifies that the 'inner child' is always present, some just forget. The inner child is connected, tuned in to the essence of life. He recommends starting each day as a new day, with the ability to experience it fully, fearlessly.

Are you aware of how you think? Are you curious and open? Can you suspend your belief system in the face of something outside your normal experience or even the unknown? How is your life now compared to a few years ago?

The conversation offers opportunities to be curious, to reflect and to peer into the depths of what might be keeping you from coming forth in all your magnificence. Listen in for ways to explore and understand new ways of being, of thinking and of doing...

How do we learn to get along and work together better? Listen in to that exploration. You can make a difference, too, just by listening to this apocalyptic chat.

One World in a New World with Hank Dearden - Executive Director, ForestPlanet

Hank's background has been on the leading edge of inquiry and movement toward the science of taking care of our Mother Earth.

Queried on the usual question of how he found passion and purpose in life, Hank reflects that he'd always had a predilection for math and engineering; getting things to work in harmony. He uses several illustrations you'll enjoy as we move through his life and work.

How do we applying engineering toward working with our planet better? Hank feels the admonition and practical application of, 'thou shalt not mess with your nest,' surely applies and space won't matter if we cannot take care of our planet. Our conversation covers a plethora of possibilities.

Delving a little deeper, Hank relates his experience at Dartmouth in exploring systems engineering through computer modeling in the early days. Worth giving some attention to in the diversity of systems he mentions and how they connect. He covers mental as well as physical systems, their non-linearity and, at times, non-local nature.

Hank goes on to speak toward fulfillment, inclusive of life and work, though he admits many find no fulfillment in their jobs and seek fulfillment elsewhere. What if there was, from an engineering standpoint, a perfected form, fit and function in the world? The conversation goes deeper.

Discussing systems dynamics and flow, scaling systems and learning how to work together better to serve the planet by so doing is a conversation that is growing in importance. You'll find new insights and perspectives from the dialog. Quite an intelligent conversation.

Business processes, according to Hank, are what's missing in the service organizations and that these processes are necessary for charities and organizations as well. Everything is a process and processes evolve for a lot of reasons. Leadership is key.

On very practical levels, Hank and Zen explore deeper levels of systems across society and how they interact effectively and ineffectively. The circuitous conversation explores interactions from material to spiritual to populations and exploring the unknown. They have some surprising reflections.

Speaking of process and flow, the 'rest of the story,' as Paul Harvey would say, is worth your time, even if you're just listening in the background. Hank and Zen, both with varied backgrounds that include engineering, science and planetary service, offer a thoughtmosphere of curiosity, inquiry and pragmatic considerations. Thank you for being here now.

One World in a New World with Kevin Herring - Co Founder, Ascent Management Consulting

Kevin keeps the conversation in the realms more familiar to most of us; citing his early development was more about having the freedom to explore learning how to do things on his own. Curiosity was his companion.

It wasn't until he was an adult that he was able to put the pieces together and apply his passion toward empowered leadership and organizational behavior. He shares many tasty tidbits in this conversation.

Stating he was a difficult child as a youth, wanting to understand the 'why' of things, he sought closure through inquiry. A curious advantage, Kevin mentions his father was in the military and they moved a lot, so he had to figure out each new environment they encountered. His confidence grew.

He landed in organizational behavior studies with the help of a mentor who asked him questions about his likes and passions and point him in a possible direction. The conversation led to organizational behavior, a rather new field at the time. He got hooked and loved the study of how people worked together better through leadership and structure.

How do you empower individuals and organizations to increase production through effective leadership and support? Details are many, yet Kevin reveals micromanagement is a major bottleneck, even with the knowledge of leadership best practices. The sense of losing control impedes progress. Kevin shares some ways through that process.

We explore the goings on with the shift in the workplace activity; remote vs office and increased activity in entrepreneurial and small business development in response to what is being called the 'great resignation' by some, the 'great reset' by others and the 'great weset' by some.

A new kind of business model is still in flux and Kevin predicts the increase in hybrid work situations that will offer the greatest challenges in the near future. He feels in any situation that good leaders will empower their people by example and through support. What are your thoughts?

What do you want to create that others, perhaps even you, think too challenging to accomplish?

One World in a New World with Claudia Noriega Bernstein - Author, Coach, Speaker

As we begin to explore the usual dive into early awareness and self-reflections, Claudia reveals knowing she was different, she just wanted to hide it; wanting to 'fit in' and not stand out. Little by little, she learned to accept those differences and opt for a feeling of belonging instead.

Do you try to 'shrink to fit' in some perceived category the world has shaped for us? Claudia's reflection of observing this in herself on her own journey may find deep resonance with your own.

Zen shares a brief moment in his journey of how he was taught about the difference in the size of the aura, measurable through a certain technique, and the exponential difference between that if being in the past or future compared to that of being in the present. You'll find it fascinating, too.

Exploring the notion of boundaries, Claudia explains that boundaries aren't about teaching people how to behave, they are to protect oneself. She shares some tasty tidbits as she reflects on her life.

Claudia goes on to reveal that learning about herself often came through uncomfortable events and situations with others. How often have you felt like victim, only to learn that you simply made poor choices? Claudia shares some keen observations that are real gems.

How often do you journal? The conversation dips into the common waters of self-reflection. We become our own mentor or teacher and/or nemesis in the process. Claudia mentions her husband and being able to tell when he isn't journaling. Why might that be? Listen in for some insight.

How do you deal with the battle in your head between experience and opinion? Are things coincidental or with reason? Our conversation is flavored with such ponderings.

Enjoy our journey shared and thank you for showing up.

One World in a New World with Joseph Carrabis - Author, Philosopher

This apocalyptic chat reveals a much more challenging start in life than most. Joseph shares he was blind at birth and has only been able to 'see' for about 2/3 of his life now. It took many surgeries and, over time, he was able to see. Can you imagine the appreciation he has for being able to see?

What if you were deemed 'retarded' and you parents wanted to institutionalize you as a result of misdiagnosis? Zen can certainly relate to that one, too. Can you? You'll be fascinated by the story of Joseph's journey and his early introduction to the 'mystery schools' of knowledge and wisdom. The wisdom shared by his grandfather is ageless. Pay attention, please. It could change your life.

What small gesture toward another in compassion or kindness have you made today? Joseph reiterates what most know in that one small gesture like that can change the course of someone's life, perhaps even your own. He speaks about indigenous wisdom, referring to the Hopi. What he shares will make so much sense, you've just got to hear it.

Joseph shares a story about Art Linkletter that strikes a blow to the perception most had of him. Do you keep score of your life and the lives of others, or do you find solace within and not be concerned? How does that awareness relate to your relationships and the outer world?

We enjoy a moment about music, piano, and the advantages of having musicality in developing style. Learning the basics of anything is important, allowing one to expand their repertoire. As the work continues, so does the development of self-awareness. Joseph states that whatever is inside of us will eventually come out, perhaps an unfolding of a perfected form, fit and function in the world.

Alas, you're going to enjoy the lines about lines, a couple of old guys chatting about life, reality and how we might enjoy our fit better. If you wonder about the spider's web, you'll be delighted to hear about the story behind the artwork and of the wolf next to it, though you'll have to follow the conversation to find out.

One World in a New World with Victor Acquista, MD - Author, Speaker, Creator, Host

This multidiscipline and multidimensional conversation explores science and spirituality in ways you may never have experienced prior, yet will sense the resonance of its sound wisdom shared.

Victor begins by relating to a conversation he had with his mother in junior high. He mentions reading Krishnamurti and Kahlil Gibran and even Ouspensky and those perhaps being familiar to our audience. He had questions about time and free will as a result.

Victor reflects on the Buddhist notion of finding your song and singing it. What is your song and are you singing it? Do you have 'training bias' in your profession?

His breadth of scope in the allopathic and alternative healing modalities is obvious as he shares his journey to understanding the larger scope of health and well-being. It is well worth your attention and exploration as well. He offers many references to materials you can research as well. Do we really need validation from others to do what we can do if it works?

Victor's walks us through his own process of how he became more self-aware and his reflection on how the process unfolded and wisdom garnered is well expressed with empathic resonance for many. He shares a declaration of world citizenship you'll find refreshing and transformative, noting the humility from which it came.

He offers greater understanding for others in exploring the Blue Zones Project for community building. Noting his time at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, Victor shares that he feels it's more important to have a direct experience rather than acquiring knowledge.

Zen brings up a previous interview with Dr. Ervin Laszlo (https://youtu.be/NDYZl-fnGWI) regarding the Higher Self and the physical embodiment of the prevailing consciousness. There is a great discussion about the oneness of being going through various vibrational levels.

What is your relationship with the expanding notion of love in your life?

Are you comfortable with 'not knowing' anything?

Can we really ascend at the speed of surrender?

One World in a New World with Julie Kratz - Author & Chief Engagement Officer, Next Pivot Point

At 8, Julie heard a riddle that presented a stark difference in what she considered to be normal. She speaks to how her home life affected her world view and started her quest toward diversity and inclusion activities.

How cognizant are we of what is happening around us? How do we process the self-awareness of developing the 'radar' Julie speaks of in the growth and understanding of life. How much of your language do you 'genderize' in your conversations? Can you change it to be inclusive?

How often do you pay attention to your language? Are you observant and able to monitor the pre-thinking of what you are about to say? Do you hit the pause button first? Are you aware of the micro-expressions Julie mentions? The blame and shame game is still prevalent. How do we change that?

Julie posits we still live largely in a competitive framework that holds a scarcity mindset. How might we change that to a thriving mind flow instead? What are the micro-expressions that bind us, still?

Is it surprising that the rate of burnout is so high with people who work in the diversity and inclusion fields? How can the 'freshness' of the excitement in service be retained? Julie mentions there is nothing innate in our biology that we are in any way 'against' each other, yet our society promotes a different message. How do we unlearn what we've been taught?

We dip into talking about history. It's obvious today that history is incorrect, or at least marginalized to a great extent. Victors and the wealthy controllers of the media flow in its myriad forms still write history. Even doing our own research may not be enough, though it does bring questions about the truth of it.

How might we see things differently in life in order to provide a more positive impact for ourselves and others? Julie feels engaging young people in the conversation is more important today, not to diminish the importance of older others. The hard-wiring of of our brains is still malleable in younger generations as well.

There's much more valuable information shared in this apocalyptic chat. It's all about the questions we ask and the conversations we have that make a difference in the world, one at a time.

One World in a New World with Lion Goodman - Founder, CEO of Clear Beliefs Institute

Lion's journey is quite unique, exploring ESP and reincarnation in junior high and psychology in high school, trying to figure out 'who we are.' Inquisitive minds dive deep into the nature of reality, our beliefs about life and how grow into mature adults with sensitivity and wisdom.

Lion speaks of an early mentor/teacher who taught him about inquiry. What is the nature of human nature? What is the nature of human motivation? What is the nature of life and why are we here? Have you considered these questions and explored them further? What have you found?

Insights from Lion's recollection were about study; anything we study, we study about ourselves in relationship to it and the world through that lens. Do we consider that insight and the subtle, yet profound, impact on our lives through the unfolding of our relationships to life, self and others?

The conversation seems almost scripted in the question, answer and discussion process. We use pattern recognition for establishing our behavior and beliefs in life. Patterns for survival are behavioral, experiential. The challenge is the clear old patterns that aren't useful as we mature.

How does this kind of awareness, pattern recognition and more, reflect in the development of your character, personality and the life you've chosen to live? Can it change if necessary or are you locked into a secure place and immobile?

Lion shares a really interesting story about another gentleman he met and spent time under his tutelage. The early meeting and eventual reconnection experience is replete with a pattern some are gifted in being able to experience. Listen in for the sub-zero story.

Do you have to get shot in the head multiple times to wake up? The last question actually happened to Lion, and obviously he survived. How did he create the scenario for it to happen. Listen in to the story and much, much more in this apocalyptic chat that will truly tickle the tendrils in your brain.

These kinds of conversations are invaluable as we progress in our collective evolutionary process and re-imagine the possibilities that are right in front of us. Thanks in advance.

One World in a New World with Victor Vorski - Imagineer, Regenerative Real Estate Producer

As a preface to our in-depth conversation we clarify what 'regenerative' means in the efforts of people desiring to co-create community around the concept. He quotes Jenny Anderson, "Regeneration is about healing the story of separation between men and nature and men and men." Are we really separate? What evidence might you cite?

Victor talks about being passionate about questions; exploring them allowing divergent perspectives in conversation regarding the question. Curiosity opens participants to creativity and exploration in more psychologically safe and intellectually humble environments as a result. His perspective on questions is quite valuable.

Reflecting his youth, he shares he didn't quite have as dramatic an awakening as Zen. His was a bit slower, spending time in nature with his grandmother talking walks in the forest. It developed his appreciating and early fascination with nature and a sense of deeper connection with life. His reflection on living in Poland as a boy, and a realization he had, speaks to early self-awareness.

Further in the conversation, and in sharp contrast, he asserts that things are possibly much different than some great cabal reaping rewards while others are miserable. His perspective is eye-opening. How do we develop good or better questions? What are the problems we are trying to solve? How do we have integrative conversations across differences?

Victor speaks about the development of villages, which is his passion, and the research that lead him to studying education. Peter Graves caught his attention regarding his findings on 'free play' with children. What he shares speaks to the nature of anarchy, self-rule, and that it leads to more natural order of agreement on the rules of their engagement.

Speaking to the expansion of opportunity within the 'global village' Victor shares that Live and Let Live Foundation is an example of a small organization being global through the access and availability of the Internet. It's organic growth is magnified by accessibility. He shares the Internet is becoming the neural network of the global brain.

In closing, he shares a profound piece of advice for living today. He nearly died twice, once from a bleeding ulcer and once from a stroke. His advice is priceless and timely for today.
