There is so much you can learn by studying the coaching styles, personnel groupings, pace of play, play call tendencies, and play design of NFL head coaches and coordinators. This takes a lot of time and effort to break down, and fortunately, there is one man who does it all for us, and that is Jeff Mans. This week, Mans takes out his notes for all 16 NFC teams and breaks them down from a real-life and fantasy point of view. He fully intended to do all 32 NFL teams this week, but there is SO MUCH information that he was only able to get to half of them in this episode. One MANS Opinion: Episode 211 – 2024 Fantasy Football Rankings Jul 10, 2024

It's a huge episode this week, and Jeff Mans tackles several very important topics. First off, Mans gives a breakdown of his first few picks of the Scott Fish Bowl 14 league draft, including a pair of really tough decisions between premium players on the round 1-2 turn. That decision actually leads to a bigger conversation regarding Jets QB Aaron Rodgers and his tendency to throw super short TD passes. This inspired Mans to do a research project on all 32 NFL starting QBs and their average depth per TD pass. These results were pretty surprising and helped us make decisions regarding some elite-caliber wide receivers this season. Then Jeff reveals his 2024 fantasy football rankings by position and in tiers of where they should be targeted in our drafts. Jeff Mans is back, and as promised, he delivers an extended episode this week all about his surprise NFL team of the 2024 season. After a quick recap of his vacation that included trips to Dodgers Stadium and PetCo Park in southern California, he dives right into the criteria for this year's surprise team. First, he lists teams that were under consideration for this year's title, including a couple of obvious choices and a pair of teams that were just a step behind. Mans then reviews his track record of the last four teams he has profiled in this space and discusses how each of them improved from the year before, and two even made extended playoff runs. This episode is full of data points that will surprise and even amaze the majority of listeners, as nobody seems to have noticed just how good this NFL team was last year, nor the additions they have made. As always, Jeff goes from the top of the organization all of the way down and even projects all 17 regular season games in order to stamp his endorsement. It’s a very emotional episode of One Mans Opinion this week as Jeff Mans opens up about some of his recent health issues, including a trip to the hospital over the weekend with less-than-ideal results. But there is plenty of positive news in this one, too, as Jeff forges a new best ball fantasy football partnership where everybody can draft a best ball team for a shot at the $500,000 top prize and a total prize pool of $2.5 million. Mans also dives into his latest research project, which is the top 100 fantasy football point scorers since the year 2000. He breaks down the list by player, team, position, and year in order to sort out how and where these huge breakout seasons come from. It is officially Draft Guide season over at Fantasy Guru dot com, and this episode is painted with the 2024 fantasy football landscape. Before he dives into the early trends of 2024, though, Mans is fired up over the copious amounts of fake news that is fooling people on social media. From Harrison Butker's jersey sales to Caleb Williams being benched in practice, the rumors are starting to win, and that is really troubling. Jeff announces some of the new and improved features for the 2024 Fantasy Football Draft Guide at Fantasy Guru dot com this year and discusses some of the trends that are behind this new content. He also illustrates how the current ADP and historical results of point scorers do not add up. For example, there are currently 30 wide receivers being drafted in the top 50 of overall picks in fantasy football. But there have never been more than 20 receivers to score in the top 50 of points ever. So, Mans tells us how to sharpen those positional swords before we are drafting dead this year. He also goes over his entire scorecard of 2024 Bold Predictions, which is a part of the Draft Guide. This week, Jeff Mans goes through the first wave of average draft position (ADP) data to uncover the players who are being over-drafted and those who are being under-drafted so far. Jeff reveals his best and worst targets at QB, RB, WR, and TE here and gives the reasoning behind each player. Mans also reacts to the news of Rams RB Kyren Williams's foot injury and breaks down the Rams running back situation. This leads to a deeper conversation of forcing draft picks into our narrative versus letting the evidence point you in the right direction.
