The regular season has ended in most fantasy football leagues, so Jeff Mans is getting you ready for the “playoffs” even if you didn’t make it. It feels like a lot longer than just one week since the last episode because so much has happened across the NFL, fantasy football, DFS, and sports betting. Jeff Mans recapped a wild week of holidays and football that included another head coach fired, a blizzard game, two running backs on the same team injured, a backup QB throwing for almost 500 yards, and the ultimate NFL gadget player go boom. Jeff shares his thoughts on who should be the next QB of the Chicago Bears as well as a breakdown of how Caleb Williams compares to other starting QBs through the first 12 games of his career. In this TWO-HOUR episode, Mans gives out the best rest-of-season schedules for QB, RB, WR & TE from a fantasy football point of view. This information helps us get our lineups set for the upcoming fantasy football playoffs. Then he provides the best WR coverage matchups for week 13 per the SMASH Report on Fantasy Guru dot com, which includes a very familiar CB that we are attacking once again this week. Mans breaks down the best offensive line versus defensive front matchups, too, which gives us a good indication of running back success for the week ahead. After back to back winning weeks in daily fantasy football, Jeff gives a preview of his DFS NFL Core 4 that will be revealed on Friday’s Elite Sports Show and also in his Cash Game Breakdown on Fantasy Guru. As always, he provides his favorite bet for Thursday Night Football between the Dolphins and Packers, including two bonus bets this week. Do not worry. Jeff Mans does talk a whole lot about football in this episode, but he has some non-football things to get off of his mind first. This includes a reading from the famous Teddy Roosevelt speech “The Man In The Arena,” which motivated Jeff this week and throughout his life. He discusses the difference between having beliefs and tearing others down. Mans also goes to bat for anyone who has ever taken the “cash out” of a bet, relationship, or business deal with some stories from his own life that shows moderate gains can amount to a very profitable life. On the football side of things, Jeff recaps another Jets loss and the subsequent firing of the General Manager. The improvements that the Bears and Caleb Williams made this week. Then he tries to get to the bottom of why Saints “TE” Taysom Hill is the single most beloved player in NFL history. Seriously. Try not to be turned on too much by Jeff Mans’ raspy voice this week, as a medical issue has him sounding more like Barry White than a geeky fantasy football guy. This week, Jeff is recapping NFL week 10 by breaking down the problems with the Jets, the return of Christian McCaffrey, and the Bears firing coaches already. Despite some DFS NFL cash game struggles this season, Mans had a revelation this week that spurs a much larger conversation about the state of each skill position in fantasy football this season. He goes on to break down the number of QB, RB, WR & TE that normally finish in the top 25, 50 & 100 of scoring and compares that to what is happening this year. The results are surprising but will help us make better decisions moving forward. Jeff Mans is back for another HUGE episode as he gives out his first NFL power rankings of the 2024 season, mostly just to generate anger amongst the superfans out there. In this episode, Jeff dives into the very important daily fantasy football strategy of late swapping. Last week, Mans needed to make a miraculous late-day pivot in order to win in cash games. So, he goes over what prompted him to make this lineup change and analyzes why it has become necessary to make late swaps almost every week. He provides some very easy-to-follow rules for late swapping and discusses how to properly align your DFS lineups. The entire NFL and fantasy football landscape has changed this week due to the rash of injuries all over the league. Mans discusses the impact of these injuries and how we should adjust our fantasy rosters accordingly. The NFL trade deadline is still a week away, but that didn’t stop two big-time wide receivers from being traded this week. Jeff Mans gives his thoughts on the Jets and Bills' new acquisitions, including the fantasy football value for them and their former and new teammates. Mans gives out his top 40 wide receivers for the rest of the season, too, in order to properly gauge these big trades. Since he reviewed the running back position last week, Jeff dove into the total fantasy points scored by each NFL team's wide receivers through the first six weeks of the season here. Jeff recaps the week, including his thoughts on the Jets firing of Robert Saleh, the state of the Maimi Dolphins, Kareem Hunt’s breakout, and which wide receivers may be on the move.
