Today’s word of the day is ‘empowerment’ as in who are we going to empower as in if you empower the wrong person you’re in trouble as in DeShaun Watson has got the power! What do I mean by this? He is the star quarterback of the Houston Texans and he was asked about what the Texans need in a new head coach. Let’s go through the conversation that the front office should be having with DeShaun Watson to make sure that there is no power tripping going on in Houston (0:06). The Jacksonville Jaguars fired Doug Marrone and the team’s owner Shad Khan made a statement that was show worthy. These are the type of statements that just make me laugh. Eagles coach Doug Pederson pulled his starting QB Jalen Hurts down 3 to the WFT for the back up back up Nate Sudfeld… how did it work out? A disaster. Eagles lose the game, Giants miss the playoffs, WFT make the playoffs. What a day. Doug Pederson’s postgame comments were a joke (0:06). What else happened yesterday? The New York Jets finally fired Adam Gase. It was bound to happen. We all knew it was going to happen. It happened (13:33). What about the Dolphins with Tua? Just yesterday Ron Rivera said he wanted to see improvement from Haskins and later that afternoon Haskins was released. Well, what happened here? Today’s word of the day is ‘already’ as in it’s here again as in there’s no way time moves this fast as in the NBA is back! It feels like just yesterday the Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA title. How can the NBA already be back? COVID shut down the NBA back in March and that feels like it was 10 years ago. So what is happening this season (0:06)? The Toronto Raptors are now temporarily the Tampa Raptors, which got the commissioner, Adam Silver, answering questions about expansion (5:13). James Harden and Houston Rockets relationship is officially toxic. What a terrible distraction this has become for that team. What can be done? Anything (13:42)? BREAKING NEWS! A report by the Washington Post was just released that says that WFT team owner Daniel Snyder settled a sexual misconduct claim for $1.6M back in 2009. Oh boy! There is a war going on in the board room of this team and dirty secrets are being revealed. Will Snyder be forced to sell now (24:15)? Review - Let Him Go (30:05). So You Wanna Talk To Samson!? Bill Belichick is in his first season without Tom Brady in a very long time. This is the first time since 2008 the Patriots won’t be in the playoffs and what thoughts are going through Bill Belichick’s head? Let’s discuss. BREAKING! David Tepper and the Carolina Panthers have fired their GM Marty Hurney. That’s not the story here; the story is that David Tepper gave one of the most ridiculous quotes EVER about the firing. The New York Jets have won a game! It happened! The fan base is DESPONDENT! The players are celebrating! And now because of this win the Jacksonville Jaguars are in the driver seat for Trevor Lawrence. Oh, no… Review - Alabama Snake. A report came out that Carson Wentz is mad. Very, very mad. The Philadelphia Eagles benched him in place of Jalen Hurts and Hurts had a great game in a loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Wentz is mad because he is paid like a franchise QB money, has not been playing like a franchise QB, but still wants to start. Did the Eagles handle this correctly? So You Wanna Talk To Samson!?
