in 1999, one of the most sexually depraved films of the 90's is released in Cruel Intentions. Two step siblings (Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe) are two entitled rich high schoolers intent on ruining the lives of everyone around them. The film also stars Reese Witherspoon and Selma Blair. We revisit the film to see how it stands up today!

In 1995, one of Saturday Night Live's most prominent cast members left the show. A year later in 1996 Dana Carvey pitched his own sketch comedy show, after truning down David Letterman's late show hosting gig. ABC ordered 10 episodes and gave it a primetime televsion slot airing immediately after 90's juggernaut Home Improvement. The network had high hopes for the SNL alumn, but soon learned when you give comedians free reign, it's not always the most family friendy product.
We discuss the history of the show, it's downfall and it's incredible staff of writers and performers which included Robert Smigel, Charlie Kaufman, Louis C.K., Steve Carrell, Stephen Colbert and more! Then we break down sketch by sketch the series' 6th episode. It's a wild and fun ride on this week's Notable Nostalgia!

We break it down scene by scene, list some fun facts and try our hands at a fun new segment called Retro Reboot. All this and much more this week on Notable Nostalgia!
