    31. When People Quit Your Team Jan 18, 2021
    Show notes

When you set out to grow your team in the social selling space you knew that sometimes your people quit. It comes with the territory. But it isn’t always easy to see it that way when it actually happens to you. And the way you show up as a leader when someone quits your team can be the difference between growth and stagnation in your business.

Today Kristen is setting out to normalize when people quit in the social selling space and how leaders can move through it so that they’re showing up with integrity and setting an example.

    Here’s what she’s covering:

    • The top two reasons people quit their team
    • Why you need to ask yourself, ‘what’s the story I’m telling when someone quits the team?’
    • You can’t control if someone stays or goes, but you can control how you react to their decision
    • How some of our biggest setbacks in business come to us on the way to becoming a strong leader
    • What you need to do before you make a change if you’re the one who wants to leave
    • Why leaders are doing a disservice to the entire industry when they sell a ‘side hustle’ that’s really meant to be a job
    • How to be the example of a leader who isn’t shaken when someone quits the team

Kristen’s on a mission to uplevel the image of the direct sales industry and that starts with leaders and how they manage their team when people decide to quit.

    30. Loving What Is Jan 11, 2021
    Show notes

Have you noticed that when you want to change something about yourself, your health, or your business, that it’s usually something you hate or are frustrated about?

We want to change and ‘fix’ things about ourselves from a place of frustration by using negative self-talk. Spoiler alert: that doesn’t work. We have to love ourselves exactly how we are right now, and create goals and take action from that love.

Kristen’s going deeper into “loving what is” and how this shift is the key to hitting all of your life and business goals:

    • What does it mean to ‘love what is’
    • How you can love yourself now by loving ‘what is’ and still have a desire to change
    • The difference between acceptance and complacency
    • How setting a goal from a place of judgement and not loving your present reality will push you into hustle
    • The 3 questions to ask yourself to get into a state of loving
    • Why you must be willing to feel the spectrum of emotions to move towards your big goals
    • How to have deep love for yourself, your present clients, your future clients, and your business

As you’ll learn from this episode, there are a lot of parallels between health goals and business goals. And just like you can’t shame yourself into losing 30lbs, you can’t shame yourself into hitting your next revenue goal.

You have to start accepting and loving where you are--by loving what is.

    29. The Business Detox Jan 04, 2021
    Show notes

It’s the new year and with every new year comes the NEW YEAR ENERGY. We want to purge, start fresh, set new and amazing goals! This is going to be YOUR YEAR!

Here’s what Kristen wants to say: you need to calm down. Really.

She’s all about setting big goals, but when you set them from an emotionally high, ‘pants on fire’ place, they are not sustainable. And when you fail to reach those goals, the big negative emotions that you will inevitably have (shame, judgement, and more) are hard to shake and will impact your business negatively.

    Here’s what she covers:

    • The difference between an emotionally led goal vs. a behavior led goal
    • Why extreme goals are not sustainable
    • What she defines as ‘sabotage goals’
    • Why we need to start small even when we have a desire for big change
    • How it’s actually possible to achieve big goals from a low emotional state
    • How to build a business from low emotions and bad days
    • The top 5 things you must detox in your business right now

Starting out strong at the beginning of the year sounds amazing, but it’s not sustainable. Listen in to hear what to do instead!

    28. The Art of Celebration Dec 28, 2020
    Show notes

Do you celebrate even when you miss your goal? If not, you’re missing out on an important piece of your success strategy. The art of celebration is more than simply celebrating when you achieve our big business goals. You can’t beat yourself up about missing a goal and expect to reach it the next time--no more than you can shame yourself into hitting your health and weight goals.

We all need a lesson in how to celebrate in our business. Celebrating before we hit our goals, after we hit our goals, and even when we don’t hit our goals.

    Today’s takeaways:

    • Why goal setting and planning for celebrating milestones creates a posture in you that helps you achieve your goals
    • If you don’t celebrate your planned milestones, your brain believes no more money is coming
    • If you hustle, it’s unlikely you’ve celebrated yourself in the past
    • Why we need to celebrate before we accomplish our goal
    • The #1 thought that keeps you from celebrating
    • When we don’t celebrate and evaluate our big achievements, we’re less likely to repeat the results
    • Why beating yourself up for missing your goal will never shift you into success
    • How celebrating--even when we miss the goal--is a confidence booster
    • Why we are scared to celebrate
    • Kristen’s vision for the network marketing/direct sales industry in 2021

Your self concept is probably the most important indicator of your long-term success. Self concept is how you see yourself and how you perceive how you think others see you. It informs how you think, act, and feel in the world right now.

Today, Kristen shares how your self concept impacts the success of your business and how you can use it as a tool to create different results in 2021 and beyond!

    Today’s takeaways:

    • Why most people attach their present circumstances to their current identity
    • How to determine your current self concept
    • Why it’s a backwards approach to use your current self concept to make decisions for your future
    • What happens when you make decisions right now from the future version of yourself (vs. the current version of yourself)
    • Specific examples of what a low self concept and a high self concept looks like and the results they each create

    26. The Truth About Value Dec 14, 2020

    • Why you never run out of content if you know your unique value for your specific audience
    • What is ‘vanilla content’ and why it’s so common
    • What happens to your content when you try to show up like someone else

    25. Confusion vs. Curiosity Dec 07, 2020
    Show notes

Your brain has a default mode that it uses to help keep you safe--none of us is immune to its sneaky strategy. The difference between success and failure is how you handle this default mode when it inevitably comes up.

An example of this is when your brain offers you confusion in the face of fear. But real business growth and developing a rich and meaningful life means you learn to operate from a place of fear.

It may sound backwards, but it’s truly the difference between growth and success.

Today Kristen dives deep into why you need to welcome the feeling of fear in order to thrive in life and in your network marketing business.

    Listen in for more:

    • Why we retreat when fear/stress/sadness inevitably show up in our lives
    • The default emotion we go to when fear comes up
    • How to welcome the feeling of fear especially when it comes to setting big business goals
    • The sneaky indulgent emotion that keeps you from taking action
    • Why we’re afraid of making decisions
    • The thoughts you can decide to think to ensure that your time and effort on something is never wasted
    • If you aren’t being decisive and setting big goals in your business, it’s likely because you don’t have your own back

    22. The Belief Plan Nov 16, 2020
    Show notes

How often do you check in with your belief in your business? If you’re not working on maintaining or growing your beliefs every day--your belief in yourself, your business, your offer, your clients, everything--you are missing an invaluable piece of your success plan!

This episode is dedicated to showing you WHY you must start with your belief before you take any action in your business.

    Key takeaways:

    • How to evaluate your business and identify where your beliefs are lacking
    • The triad of a successful belief plan
    • Why you don’t need to have personal success to have a successful business/team and how your belief helps
    • Why looking at your current results to determine your belief in what’s possible is the wrong approach
    • How your belief becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy
    • If you’re not selling the value of your offer, you’re simply selling a transaction
    • Why you have to sell yourself FIRST on the value of your offer
    • The simple way you will know that you are in belief
    • Why taking responsibility for YOUR beliefs about your audience will change the trajectory of your business

Kristen isn’t a believer in the ‘fake it ‘till you make it’ idea when it comes to social selling. Your self-concept will determine your success and that self-concept starts with unravelling and changing your beliefs about yourself and your business.
