One thing I found so refreshing about Avery's perspective was her idea that she's "only buying vacation rentals that are meant to be vacation rentals". In a time where midterm rentals, corporate housing, insurance stays, and other rental strategies are more and more trendy, I appreciated Avery's unabashed view on the idea that she's in the STR asset class to be an STR host – not to keep pivoting to the next hot thing!
