The Danger of Extremes Oct 26, 2026
    Show notes

How do we keep from going to extremes in a world that constantly pushes them? From health trends to theological debates and social media outrage, Brody and JB talk about the importance of moderation, Biblical discernment, and self-control. We explore how to stand firm in truth, love people well, and keep the Gospel at the center of it all.

We also discuss how our beliefs shape the way we treat others and how it’s possible to care deeply about theology while missing the importance of loving people well. Through Scripture and real-life experiences, we unpack what it looks like to think wisely, respond with grace, and keep our emotions from controlling our actions.

The Six Flags Incident and the Weight of What Followed Oct 22, 2026
    Show notes

A normal day can change everything in a matter of seconds. After a fatal accident at Six Flags hits close to home, Brody sits down with JB for an raw conversation about trauma, fear, and the questions that come when tragedy strikes. We talk about the effects of post-traumatic stress, how to process difficult experiences, and why it’s important to be mindful of what we consume on social media. We also explore how tragedy can shift our priorities and remind us of what matters most. Even when we don’t understand why things happen, we can turn to prayer, lean on our community, and trust in God’s sovereignty. When life feels fragile, how do we keep from living in fear and find hope in the middle of uncertainty?

What If College Isn’t the Only Answer? Oct 19, 2026
    Show notes

College isn’t the only path to a successful career. Joseph Wainwright joins us to talk about the value of skilled trades, the cost of the college-first mindset, and how young adults can find meaningful work without taking on unnecessary debt. From his own journey in the trades to the growing demand for skilled workers, Joseph shares why these careers deserve a second look.

We also explore what Scripture says about craftsmanship, work as worship, and the importance of helping the next generation recognize their God-given gifts. Whether you’re a parent helping your child navigate their future or a young adult trying to find your direction, this conversation challenges the idea that success has to follow one path.

Stop Eating Rubber and Start Feasting on Scripture Oct 05, 2026
    Show notes

The Bible is full of details that are easy to miss—but what if they’re pointing us to something bigger? In this episode, we talk about motifs and imagery in Scripture and how repeated pictures can help us better understand the Gospel.

We look at vineyards, shepherds, light, darkness, and water, with a special focus on scenes in John 2 and John 4. We also talk about how to study these patterns with humility, avoid over-spiritualizing the text, and slow down enough to actually notice what Scripture is saying.

You might be surprised by how much you notice when you slow down and look a little closer.

Reaching the Unreached in Unexpected Ways | No Sanity Stories Sep 28, 2026
    Show notes

What if the skills you already have could become a doorway for the Gospel? In this episode, Spencer Davis and Brody Holloway share how Snowbird’s experience in wilderness training opened unexpected doors to serve communities in a remote region of the Himalayas.

From swift-water rescue training to unexpected partnerships, practical skills created opportunities to build relationships and share Christ in places where traditional missions can be difficult. We also talk about the 10/40 window, indigenous church planting, the cost for local believers, and stories of people encountering Jesus through dreams and visions.

This is a story about thinking creatively, serving people well, and trusting God to open doors for the Gospel.

    Stories of God’s Sovereignty Sep 21, 2026

God is sovereign but what does that mean when life doesn’t make sense? Brody uses Scripture, personal stories, and his own experiences to unpack God’s sovereignty and providence, showing how God works through suffering, uncertainty, and unexpected circumstances.

We look at Joseph, the cross, and the tension between God’s sovereignty and human responsibility. Brody also shares personal stories of tragedy, unexpected detours, prayer, and the chain of events that eventually led to Snowbird.

If you’ve ever wondered what God is doing in the middle of a hard season, this conversation will challenge you to trust His purposes even when you can’t see the whole picture.

The Combat Veteran Who Chose Calling Over Comfort Sep 14, 2026
    Show notes

What if the comfortable choice is actually keeping you from what God is calling you to do?

In this episode Brody and JB sit down with a longtime friend, Michael Talley to hear how combat deployments, hard leadership decisions, and family priorities shaped his path from the Air Force to pastoral ministry. Michael shares some wild stories from his time in the military and how God eventually led him to leave the Air Force and step into ministry. He later walked away from a stable church position to plant a church in Denver during COVID with a baby on the way and almost no money.

Michael’s story is a powerful reminder that following Jesus often means choosing obedience over comfort and trusting God with the outcome.

    Snowbird Through a Skeptical Parent’s Eyes Sep 07, 2026
    Show notes

What do energy drinks, a skeptical parent, marriage, and grief have in common? They’re all part of one conversation about what a real “SWO reset” looks like.

We sit down with Ginger, a camp nurse, to talk about protecting kids from dehydration, heat exhaustion, and concussions. But the conversation goes deeper when she shares her story of when she came to SWO wondering if the camp was even trustworthy, at one point questioning whether it was a cult. By the end of the week, she watched her daughter’s faith take root and saw God do something she never expected.

From there, we talk about marriage, medicine, grief, and the kind of Biblical transformation that doesn’t end when you leave camp.
