NP475 – Smelter and Online Patches Apr 28, 2021

Show notes

Who would have thought that 2021 would bring us the spiritual successor to the Gameboy Camera? Crazy! We chat about the week’s news including game patches and retro collections. Oh, I also talk about my new obsession, Smelter. This game is a crazy 16bit mashup of Mega Man X, Actraiser, a sprinkling of Starcraft with some Celeste thrown in for good measure. It’s a crazy mixture, but it works and it works well!

NP472 – UnderMine and More Switch Rumours Mar 24, 2021

Show notes

I somehow missed the release of UnderMine, a roguelite dungeon crawler, when it released a month ago. I’m glad I found an old email to spark my memory. This is my new addiction, if you like Roguelite games, this may be one for your to give a try! We also run down the week’s news including the new Switch pro rumours, sales milestones, and a US release for the cool mini-Sega arcade cabinet. Enjoy the show!
