Breaking Up Is Hard To Do (a.k.a. Conscious Uncoupling, a.k.a. Everything Legal Told Us NOT to talk about) Dec 30, 2019
    Show notes

Here it is, faithful listeners. You asked for it, you got it. Here is the E! True Hollywood Story behind the break-up of Lindsay and Sharone. It has been highly suggested by our legal department that we issue a warning: This episode is explicit and violent and not for the faint of heart. Consider yourself warned and use caution before listening. Additionally, you should know that this episode description is extremely sarcastic and Lindsay sniffles a lot and cries a teensy tiny bit.

It’s holiday season and we are unearthing the SCANDALS behind the moms who make you laugh. Gila of @the.mom.who.knew.too.much fled the country and forgot about her son’s art project! Kendra of @AnxiousMoms spends a lot of time hiding under a bridge, possibly selling drugs. And Lindsay of @PsychShrinkMom made up a completely fictional description of this super-fun episode. Happy Holidays!

Season 1, Episode 29: What If Your Child Died Dec 17, 2019
    Show notes

Four years ago today, Isabella Risinger died just before her first Christmas, just before her first birthday. Isabella was born with Trisomy 18 and her death was the result of complications from this genetic abnormality. In today's episode of Neurotic Nourishment I interview Isabella's mother, Kristina Walling Risinger, about how to move forward with life after such a devastating loss. Moving on seems nearly impossible, but Kristina credits her faith in God, the support of her husband and community, and her desire to help others as the key elements that helped her to *move forward* rather than "move on."

This episode was tough to record and may be uncomfortable to listen to. But listen to it. It's worth it.

Kristina is a grief counselor, and a blogger at justbreathe-mama.com. Her website is kristinarisinger.com and today, on the anniversary of Isabella's death, Kristina has launched her own podcast, Faith Breathed Hope. Please listen, rate, review, and subscribe as we support this incredible woman.
