S2E6 - A Very Human Thing To Do Jun 20, 2021

Show notes

Not even the federal government can stop these kids from stopping a monster! Well, maybe it can. Adam throws himself a pity party while the others work to sort out whatever is going on with the thing in Inspector Payne's hand, while Shamanda's new crush Evan works to keep it together. An old odious "friend" shows up, and that darn little Bondlegrob bud continues to lurk somewhere out of reach. And Dragline is quiet, but she is there.

S2E5 - Let Sleeping Hodags Lie Jun 15, 2021

Show notes

The Club comes to grip with the terrifying reality of the Bondlegrob (sometimes spelled Bändelgraab), a monster that is, by intentional and horrifying design, undefeatable. Secrets are revealed about its origin, plans are made to confront it, and hands get held. Hands! Held! It's a big step forward in some relationships. I mean, this whole thing started off so nonchalant and unemotional!

S2E04 - L.M.A.O. Jun 08, 2021

Show notes

We take a moment to step away from a small monster hunting club in the north woods of America to check in with the most important body of lore-seekers and threat-abaters in the world-- the Legend, Myth and Apocrypha Organization. These intrepid agents of humanity are willing to do anything to save those in need, even if it means temporarily becoming completely incompetent.

*Our amazing Patron Narizroja suggested a better Spanish name for the cryptids in this episode. So the correct and proper name is... Sierpezuña. (It's no surprise that L.M.A.O doesn't have that properly documented.)

S2E03 - Where Have All The Feathers Gone? Jun 01, 2021

Show notes

Rhinelander is just as unpleasant as the club feared, and it turns out Krashlee has competition for Derrk's affections from a very flattering source. Adam Miller is STRONG and BRAVE, ok guys? Why don't you believe him? Shamanda tries to focus on setting a good example for Dragline of how monster hunting should be done, but damn are there a lot of distractions. And Susan... Susan's gripping the wheel and riding the lanes to get to these kids in time.

S2E02 - Hodag? Who Dat? May 25, 2021

Show notes

The Club drives all the way to Rhinelander (ugh!) to do what they do best; catch a monster in the act. Dragline has a rude awakening and Krashlee and Derrk have their first fight, leaving Shamanda to put a lot of the pieces together on their investigation as a fresh and independent young woman. And Adam is fine with that. For real. So happy for her. And he loves being single too! So...

S1E22 - Things Will Never Been the Same May 04, 2021

Show notes

This is it... the Coherence has begun, the end of everything is at hand. The Club didn't know it, but from the very beginning they've been building to this moment, where all of existence hangs in the balance and depends on their choices. What will they do? What will they lose? Most importantly, will anyone notice that Susan was cursed with a grey streak?

S1E20 - Trapped In This Station With You Apr 20, 2021

Show notes

Mystery County starts to get a little... quantum as the Hunters explore the mysteries of the Haverford Generating Station. Shamanda finally gets a change of her own, Adam Miller doesn't know if anything matters, Susan is all tied up (and not in the good way), Krashlee turns out to be weird on purpose, and Derrk is deeply concerned... about catching up on TV references.
