Mysterious Circumstances — History
Mysterious Circumstances

***EXPLICIT LANGUAGE***
-Crime/Mysteries/Paranormal/History-
– A podcast that dives deep into the unsolved and interesting, with an unpolished and unscripted “pirate radio” style. If you like a conversational style podcast about mysterious stuff, you’ll love this!!

From ‘PODCAST MAGAZINE’ : Host Justin Rimmel does a solid job of making listeners feel like we are in the room with him while he shares particularly weird cases he comes across. If old-fashioned true-crime stories are your thing, you will certainly find them on Mysterious Circumstances, too. Justin also does a good job of being a bit skeptical when covering cases. While he doesn’t discount anything paranormal from the start, he does bring in reason and common sense. Whether you are looking for something a little different from the typical true-crime podcasts, or a little scarier, give Mysterious Circumstances a listen.

The Amber Hagerman Story Jun 18, 2017

Show notes

On January 13, 1996, nine-year-old Amber Rene Hagerman (November 25, 1986 – January 17, 1996) was abducted while riding her bike in Arlington, Texas. A neighbor who witnessed the abduction called the police, and Amber’s brother Ricky went home to tell his mother and grandparents what happened. It’s often believed that Hagerman’s murderer kept her alive for at least two days. Richard Hagerman and Amber’s mother, Donna Whitson (now Donna Norris), called the news media and the FBI. The Whitsons and their neighbors began searching for Amber. Four days after the abduction, near midnight, her body was found in a creek behind an apartment complex – with cut wounds to her neck. The site of the discovery was less than five miles from where she went missing. There are no suspects to her abduction and homicide.

Drawing on the police report—which includes interviews with Wagner, Christopher Walken (Wood’s then co-star), and others—as well as details from the yacht’s captain, let’s see if we can’t find out what happened.
