    My Cabbages! An Avatar Podcast

“My Cabbages!” is An Avatar: The Last Airbender Podcast started by two lovable nerds during a global pandemic to stave off their inevitable existential crisis. How many people does team Avatar accidentally murder? Does Zuko mistreat his interns? Is Aang more of a 5e Druid, or is he a Pathfinder Monk? Where are all the blue tree people? We find answers for all of Avatar’s most profoundly unasked questions. Join us, as we journey once more through one of the greatest stories ever told.

    22. From Omashu to Oh-No-Shu (ATLA S2E3) Mar 17, 2021
    Show notes

After his lackluster trip through the Tunnel of Love, Aang is anxious to get back to Omashu and kick it with his homie, but since their last visit, Omashu is under new management, and Carol Baskin is really running the place into the ground. From plagues and unsponsored product placements, to neglected babies and chained-up bunnies (without their paperwork), Jeff Lowe is really making a mess of things.
How is the Tiger King of Omashu supposed to get his zoo back without a pardon from the president?

    21. Grand Theft Chocobo (ATLA S2E2) Mar 03, 2021
    Show notes

To fit with the musical theme of the episode, we have some ORIGINAL MUSIC!
You can find the Music of my talented brother, J. Curtis, here and on Instagram at J.Curtis!
In Today's episode, our gang attempts to tackle the language of love. When an eccentric troupe of lovable bards passes through, the Gaang gets the scoop on a secret tunnel.... of looooove. While the gang enters a cave system more dank and shippy than tumblr, Zuko and Iroh decide between possible death by rock, or assured death by @realflameprincess, and the decision is not difficult. How will our heroes tackle the DM's latest carefully laid puzzle? Will they believe in the power of love, or will they roll a bunch of dice and brute-force their way to the exit? Find out on an all new episode of My Cabbages!

    20: Book Two: Hair (ATLA S2E1) Feb 17, 2021
    Show notes

We're BACK Y'ALL! Finally, after the mother of all Hiatuses, our party is ready to jump back into their quest. They stop by General Fong's place before heading to Omashu, and Fong attempts to turn Aang into a World Class Speedrunner on Twitch. I'm sure like all publicity-based twitch partnerships, it will go smoothly and not backfire in his face.
Meanwhile, Zuko and Iroh get interrupted from their R&R with an invite home. Zuzu longs for daddy's approval, but is it genuine, or a deadly trap? Would Admiral Akbar know?

    My Good B*tch, The Full Moon's a Commin! (E19/20 S01) Oct 31, 2020
    Show notes

It's time folks. The Big Finale! Sorry it's so late, but the FIRE NATION is right on time in this big bombastic finale of Michael Bay proportions! We are joined by friend of the show, @Efortmanteau to help us wade through the ice, assassination plots, and romantic ghosting in what can only be described as the Siege of the North.
We'll be back at you soon with more show, in the meantime, GO VOTE!

    18. The OG Sailor Moon (ATLA S1E18) Sep 24, 2020
    Show notes

Get an extra chunky one this week for you folks!
We learn the super-powered origin of Princess Yue, Sokka puts his proverbial foot in his mouth, and Katara uses her waterbending to smash the patriarchy. SO MANY TANGENTS! You can't handle all these tangents!

    17. Fifty Shades of Crimson (S1E17) Sep 09, 2020
    Show notes

At a campfire, a busker tells the Gaang about a group of spirited airwalkers that bare no relation to a family of Jedi, and the gaang decide to investigate. What they find is a desecrated temple, a mad scientist, some gliders, and a weird sex dungeon that proves difficult to explain. From whips and chains, to Nickelodeon's really specific Slime kink, this episode runs the gambit.

    16. The Disaster of Disguise (ATLA S01E16) Aug 27, 2020
    Show notes

Our gang finds a mysterious mall kiosk in the woods, and gets tickets to FIRE FEST! This one is different, we promise! The gang dine on snakes and don really terrible disguises, and when Billy comes to town to reclaim his IP, Aang must learn composure and control from Billy's Mentor, a man that is more myth than.... well.... man....
Aang gets Zhou to play a game of Battleship with himself.

    15. Bato of the Furry Tribe (ATLA S1E15) Aug 12, 2020
    Show notes

This is truly a Comedy of Errors folks. Aang is jealous when a new Senpai comes to town to distract his senpais from their journey. Bato tells them they could see their father, and before any communication or clarification, Aang takes off in a fit of Aangst, steals the map to treasure island, and does the unthinkable D&D crime. He splits the party!
Iroh is a creep and the Golden Dragon Girls ASSEMMBBBLLLLEEEE!!!!

    14. Ember Island Medium (ATLA S1E14) Jul 29, 2020
    Show notes

Team Avatar catches sight of a road-side attraction that Katara buys into immediately, despite Sokka's rock-solid logic and reason.
After they save an insane old man from a platypus-bear, the gang heads to a village next to Chekhov's Volcano, where they meet a swindler that is very good at cold-reading.
The Romance! The Drama! The dumb love polygons galore!

    13. Old Mother Brothel (ATLA S1E13) Jul 15, 2020
    Show notes

Katara and Sokka are self-isolating with Chorona, and Aang sets off to follow some wack google-maps instructions to an herbal sex-spa. There he learns the only way to save his friends is to get them to suck on some frogs.
On his way back, he gets nabbed by some archers and has to be rescued by a dope Parkour master by the name of "The Blue Spirit"
Glad to be back, and look forward to a new episode from us EVERY TWO WEEKS! Until life balances out a little bit. See you in two weeks!
